Originally built in 1895, Granny's Farmhouse is a Queen Anne Victorian beautifully restored and decorated. The house features stained glass windows, period architecture, push button light switches, and is furnished with antiques. There are ten foot ceilings, an updated modern kitchen, skylights, fireplace, and it is located on a working farm with beautiful vistas and 360 degree mountain views. This listing is for the entire main floor of the house which includes the kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. The upstairs is available to rent for an additional cost and has 3 more bedrooms which can sleep a total of 6 more people. There is no bathroom upstairs at this time but we plan to add one in the future. Note: the upstairs is not a separate space but is an add-on to the main floor listing to accommodate more guests if needed. Please message me for information on renting the upstairs.

The bungalow was built in 1925 and miraculously the few previous owners retained all the original woodwork and features that give it character. The basement was remodeled into a living space in the early 2000s. I purchased the home in Fall 2016 and in doing so have welcomed the opportunity to continue to maintain and enhance this treasure of a historic house.

The main bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has two twin beds, and there is a roll-away cot that is actually quite comfortable and can be set up in either the twin bedroom or the common area/living room. The living room has a queen-sized sofa bed.

I’ve added a fully-functional kitchen to the laundry area, utilizing the original cupboards and other lumber found on the property.

The recently updated patio area is a great place to hang out during warmer temperatures! Lots of garden veggies, berries,and fruit trees make it a healthy “snack bar”, too!

The entire main level is available for guests which includes 3 bedrooms, living area, sitting room, bathroom and kitchen. Bedroom one (master) has a king bed, bedroom two has a queen bed, bedroom three is a passthrough to the master with a twin bed and a fold-out cot. We also have a pack-n-play and toys available for little ones. There is a vacant basement that is off limits for guests, as it has steep stairs and is unfinished and used for storage.

The whole main floor is yours! There is keyless entry on the main door with a security system for your safety. An access code will be given to you prior to your stay. If you're coming to work, you'll find a desk and fiber internet waiting for you.

You can always receive a reply either from your booking app or you're welcome to text or call for help or recommendations any time.

If you've been to La Grande before, you'll notice we do have a train. A new law making La Grande a "quiet zone" is to be in effect starting December 27, 2019. This means the train can no longer blow its whistle in town. Until this quiet zone takes place, we provide ear plugs for any light sleepers. There may still be general noise from the train that can be heard all over town.

Most things are within walking distance or a short drive. Enjoy easy accessibility to everything you need!

Professionally cleaned, this 1300 sqft property offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with high ceilings and forced AC/heating. The master bedroom has a private bathroom and walk in closet. All bedrooms offer queen sized beds. You can also book the other side "Crow Nest A" for a bigger group.

Front porch seating with a Mountain View expands into a large front yard. Comfortable and relaxing seating area is provided in the private and fully enclosed backyard. The house has an open floor plan with vault ceilings to give a spacious and family friendly environment. Ping pong table in the garage lends itself to entertainment. A pack and play is available upon request. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with premium bedding, large closet spaces, and ceiling fans.

Self check-in is available with a keypad lock. You will be provided with your own private code for access.
Other things to note
Please note this space is a duplex that shares one wall with the tenants living next door. You can expect full privacy, but possible normal sound transfer. Tenants living next door also practice the 10pm-6am quiet hours.

This small 3 bedroom apartment provides more than it looks. Full kitchen with everything you need to host. The living room is very comfortable for hanging and for that 6th guest. It has a loveseat pull out bed, but for taller living sleepers the couch may work better. There are games and a TV for downtime. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a hair dryer, and few other conveniences. There's amenities like AC, heating, WiFi, dishwasher, full kitchen, and a washing/drying machine, that will give guests everything they need for a delightful stay.

We are walking distance to downtown restaurants or shopping, EOU is less than a mile away, and 3 miles from mountain biking and hiking. There is off street parking, parking, and a dump station for RV/Travel Trailers. .
