Originally built in 1895, Granny's Farmhouse is a Queen Anne Victorian beautifully restored and decorated. The house features stained glass windows, period architecture, push button light switches, and is furnished with antiques. There are ten foot ceilings, an updated modern kitchen, skylights, fireplace, and it is located on a working farm with beautiful vistas and 360 degree mountain views. This listing is for the entire main floor of the house which includes the kitchen, dining room, living room, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. The upstairs is available to rent for an additional cost and has 3 more bedrooms which can sleep a total of 6 more people. There is no bathroom upstairs at this time but we plan to add one in the future. Note: the upstairs is not a separate space but is an add-on to the main floor listing to accommodate more guests if needed. Please message me for information on renting the upstairs.

The bungalow was built in 1925 and miraculously the few previous owners retained all the original woodwork and features that give it character. The basement was remodeled into a living space in the early 2000s. I purchased the home in Fall 2016 and in doing so have welcomed the opportunity to continue to maintain and enhance this treasure of a historic house.

The main bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has two twin beds, and there is a roll-away cot that is actually quite comfortable and can be set up in either the twin bedroom or the common area/living room. The living room has a queen-sized sofa bed.

I’ve added a fully-functional kitchen to the laundry area, utilizing the original cupboards and other lumber found on the property.

The recently updated patio area is a great place to hang out during warmer temperatures! Lots of garden veggies, berries,and fruit trees make it a healthy “snack bar”, too!

The entire main level is available for guests which includes 3 bedrooms, living area, sitting room, bathroom and kitchen. Bedroom one (master) has a king bed, bedroom two has a queen bed, bedroom three is a passthrough to the master with a twin bed and a fold-out cot. We also have a pack-n-play and toys available for little ones. There is a vacant basement that is off limits for guests, as it has steep stairs and is unfinished and used for storage.

The whole main floor is yours! There is keyless entry on the main door with a security system for your safety. An access code will be given to you prior to your stay. If you're coming to work, you'll find a desk and fiber internet waiting for you.

You can always receive a reply either from your booking app or you're welcome to text or call for help or recommendations any time.

Close by you'll find: Eastern Oregon University, running and mountain biking trails, local restaurants, convenient drive to Anthony Lakes Ski Resort, 4 miles from Morgan Lake (paddle boarding, fishing, walking), within walking distance of local restaurants and coffee shops.

If you've been to La Grande before, you'll notice we do have a train. A new law making La Grande a "quiet zone" is to be in effect starting December 27, 2019. This means the train can no longer blow its whistle in town. Until this quiet zone takes place, we provide ear plugs for any light sleepers. There may still be general noise from the train that can be heard all over town.

Most things are within walking distance or a short drive. Enjoy easy accessibility to everything you need!

Lovely duplex located in a quiet neighborhood minutes away from Eastern Oregon University, Grande Rhone Hospital, downtown LaGrande and hiking/biking trails located in our beautiful valley. Professionally cleaned, this 1300 sqft property offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with high ceilings and forced AC/heating. The master bedroom has a private bathroom and walk in closet. All bedrooms offer queen sized beds. You can also book the other side "Crow Nest A" for a bigger group.

JSW Away Stay is located in a culdesac that is quiet, secluded, and safe. Built in 2012, it has all the amenities you need to feel like you are home away from home. The space:
Front porch seating with a Mountain View expands into a large front yard. Comfortable and relaxing seating area is provided in the private and fully enclosed backyard. The house has an open floor plan with vault ceilings to give a spacious and family friendly environment. Ping pong table in the garage lends itself to entertainment. A pack and play is available upon request. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with premium bedding, large closet spaces, and ceiling fans.

Self check-in is available with a keypad lock. You will be provided with your own private code for access.
Other things to note
Please note this space is a duplex that shares one wall with the tenants living next door. You can expect full privacy, but possible normal sound transfer. Tenants living next door also practice the 10pm-6am quiet hours.

This small 3 bedroom apartment provides more than it looks. Full kitchen with everything you need to host. The living room is very comfortable for hanging and for that 6th guest. It has a loveseat pull out bed, but for taller living sleepers the couch may work better. There are games and a TV for downtime. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a hair dryer, and few other conveniences. There's amenities like AC, heating, WiFi, dishwasher, full kitchen, and a washing/drying machine, that will give guests everything they need for a delightful stay.

Enjoy our art filled cozy apartment, Located a block from Grande Ronde Hospital and its clinics. We’re a 10min walk from the Eastern Oregon University’s campus, and a 5min walk from a track and field and a great playground. Kids and pets are more than welcome. The Vrbo is in our daylight basement with its own entrance, easy access and private space. Our family lives on the floor above and you will occasionally hear us during the daytime, but mostly kids giggles and pattering feet.

Two bedrooms, one of them is also the entry room. Living room has lots of seating, kitchenette off to one side with a mini fridge. Full bathroom with washer and dryer.

Guest access
Guest have a private entrance to their apartment.
Parking is on the far right side of the drive way directly behind a blue 1972 truck. There is a pathway made of red brick stepping stones that will lead you to your private entrance. Entry codes will be given closer to check-in time.

We are a family with kids and while we will try to keep quiet you will hear us from time to time, mostly the kids running around upstairs. For the most part we stay in parts or our house that aren’t directly over the apartment.

Located in La Grande's "industrial" zone, our cute 2-br is our favorite home we have lived in La Grande. Only 1 block from downtown and a short trip to hiking, biking and river fun. The kitchen is awesome with all the amenities for cooking and hosting, the living room is cozy, front and back Florida rooms are a great way to open and close the day, AND the back yard gets TONS of sun. There's a washer/dryer in unit, as well as ski, bike and gear storage. Also, trailer/RV parking is a breeze here.

Don't judge this adorable house by the first outside impression. It has more space than you expect, and is a very comfortable living home. The living room does movies and social nights well. The kitchen is legit. We also have a mud room in the back for gear storage as needed. We are constantly making the outdoor area more usable. Even though there is only one bathroom we have a vanity area for getting makeup and hair done outside the bathroom. There's a Washer/Dryer, and we are partners with Anthony Lakes Ski Resort so if staying in the winter discount ticket vouchers are available.

Pet Fee: $50 per pet
Pet rules: Pets must be kenneled while left alone in the house. We provide one large metal house kennel in back room. There is a fenced-in back yard but it is not escape proof. No pets on bed or furniture. Please bring pet beds and anything else your pet needs. We provide tools for you to clean up poop from the yard. Please leave it in good shape for the next guest.

Just one block from downtown. Parking is extra chill on our street, so park in the driveway or in front of the house. Trailer or RV parking is super convenient.

Just 1 block from downtown, looks industrial at first, but once you settle in you will see the charm.

Downtown is 1 block away, and there is PLENTY of parking on property.

We are close to the trains, but the house is super insulated and we provide both sound machines and ear plugs for the light sleeper. Also, Trains are no longer allowed to honk during evening and early morning hours. This is a blessing for the entire town.

The Wolfe Den is located in the Canyon in a Mountain setting 3 minutes off interstate I-84 and the Grande Ronde River. This room has been overnight stay to many travelers who want an easy location off the freeway to grab a nights rest, and a shower. Located within 3 minutes walk to the Grande Ronde river the Wolfe Den has also been a favorite for guest visiting the area for fishing, viewing wild life, winter snowmobiling, skiing and for events, games and studies at Eastern Oregon University.

The space
The Perry room is a large and cozy with one large windows and a view of the mountain. The view of the mountain is limited in this room during the summer months when the leaves are on the trees. The Perry room is private room with a queen sized bed, a key code lock, a desk workspace, a couch and lots of closet space. The bathroom is across the hall from the room and is shared with other guests. Guests also have use of the common kitchen and living room. All guests are welcome to use the swing on the front porch.

Beautiful location in a true rustic, inviting and comfortable log cabin. Relax by a crackling fire, play a game or sip your favorite drink from the deck. Your deck overlooks the forest. Hike, mountain bike, right from your front stairs. Fishing is 3 minutes away by car. 25 miles from La Grande(3 miles of dirt road, 22 miles of highway)


As far as I know we are the only experience in Oregon like this. This cabin is essentially living the way people did 100 years ago(if you ignore the TV/DVD and LED lights). We provide a grill to cook on, A Bio-lite stove, a Coleman two burner stove, a percolator coffee pot, a separate commode building, 10 gallons of drinking water for dishes or enjoy a Victorian Wash -Pitcher & Basin. Look at the photos and read the details please. This is as "getaway" as it gets. No streetlights, just stars and moonlight at night. If you need a reset from the daily grind, this is the place for your soul to relax. If you want something different, semi-private and very relaxing, you have found it. *Glamping * No Running Water *No Shower *As Rustic as it gets

Fishing in a pond very close (3 minute drive). Mountain biking, hiking, cross country skiing, nature watching all as soon as you step off the porch. The log cabin is all yours. If, on occasion we have another guest or my wife and I are in the other cabin, the fire pit and outhouse might be used by others.

****Winter Note: From late December until (sometimes) April, we will be in total snow pack. That means the last 1.5 miles of our road is accessible only over snow pack. Essentially snow shoes, skis or any tracked vehicle from about Christmas(normally) through March or April depending on how the winter plays out. You can't even attempt to drive on the last 1.5 miles or the rangers can ticket you.****

Powered by the Sun(small solar system). Bring a headlamp (We provide about 10 gallons of water in reusable containers). There is no running water (unless you walk about 30 yards to the spring) and no grid provided power. Please look closely at the photos, they show you everything included with the cabin. You'll live like you're in the 1800's for the most part. There is a deep cycle 12V solar powered system with 110V plugs and USB ports. We have a TV and DVD player but be smart about your electricity, it's limited until sunrise. The toilet is a pit toilet. There is a fire pit out front, but please bring some wood or gather dead wood in the nearby forest floor if you plan on using the fire pit. The wood for heating indoors is provided by us.

Private one bedroom, one bath, one living room basement suite with own entrance. Just a short walk from downtown venues and EOU. Outdoor table, chairs & fire pit for your enjoyment! TV has Amazon Fire Stick with many streaming options!

The space
This charming renovated 1920 bungalow is on the edge of downtown. The basement suite has its own private entrance, bathroom and coffee/tea area with a mini fridge with a lavender theme! We are aspiring Lavender Farmers, and own a lavender products company. McLaughlin Lavender, retail shop is located inThe Market Place Underground at 1101 Washington Avenue. Come check us out !

Very comfortable memory foam mattress topper. Cool in the summer, warm in the winter. Blackout curtains. Small table to work, have coffee or a meal. Please be advised: our ceilings are 6’4”, 6’3” height is max for your comfort.

Living room has a futon and available full size air mattress upon request. Books and games for leisure.

The bungalow was built in 1925 and miraculously the few previous owners retained all the original woodwork and features that give it character. The basement was remodeled into a living space in the early 2000s. I purchased the home in Fall 2016 and in doing so have welcomed the opportunity to continue to maintain and enhance this treasure of a historic house. To that end please pardon some of the "patina"...the home is a work in progress!

The main bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has two twin beds, and there is a roll-away cot that is actually quite comfortable and can be set up in either the twin bedroom or the common area/living room.

I’ve added a fully-functional kitchen to the laundry area, utilizing the original cupboards and other lumber found on the property.

The recently updated patio area is a great place to hang out during warmer temperatures! Lots of garden veggies, berries,and fruit trees make it a healthy “snack bar”, too!

The basement apartment has its own private entrance and a sliding door separates the guest area from the main floor to provide us both privacy. The entire basement is available to guests.

Kick back and relax on the edge of town in this calm, stylish space. Enjoy breakfast or an evening BBQ on the patio with a gorgeous view of the Grande Ronde Valley. This studio guest suite with a private entrance has a queen size bed, sofa, and dining table plus a kitchenette with a refrigerator and freezer and supplies for your morning beverage.

The space
The suite is located on the ground floor of a private residence. The space is a self-contained private unit of approximately 400 sq ft with a full bathroom, kitchenette, and washing machine. You will enter the unit from a 200 sq ft patio available for your private use. The floors in the main room are painted concrete and the bathroom floor is heated tile.

The space is designed for two people with a queen size bed, sofa, and dining table. However, the unit will accommodate up to four people by using the foldout sofa as a bed. This works well for a family or a group that doesn’t mind sharing beds and space. Please let us know if you would like to use the sofa bed and we will supply extra bedding in the room.

If you have mobility issues, please be aware that the bathtub is not equipped with a safety bar and there are a few small steps outside to enter the room.

We live in the house above the unit and are generally up early to prepare for the day. We do our best to be quiet but there will be some noise.

If you are booking in the winter, we will contact you to discuss road conditions on our hill. When snow and ice covers the road, some drivers or vehicles will find it challenging to get to our house. From spring to fall times there are flowering or fruit blooming all around the property. The property is very relaxing. House is quaint and has lots of character. No TV opens up time to relax and dive into a good book or to play games. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make a great dinner.

It's a Full Size bed in the master, and a nice Futon Couch. There are extra linens located in the master bedroom for the couch bed.

The Space was designed by the property owners who live adjacent to the property. It is considered a tiny house at only 380 sq ft, but the open design creates a feeling of a much larger space! The white-washed walls are clad with rough cut cedar with large beams that contrast all of the various wood finishes throughout the space. The tile shower is large and spacious. Cabinets are unique with a fantastic large master loft suite that boasts 5-star, luxury bedding and furnishings.

Guests will have access to the entire townhouse which is located 3 blocks from La Grande downtown and within one mile of Eastern Oregon University. This townhouse really does have it all. Anthony Lakes Ski Resort is only 45 from the house as well! Perfect for couples enjoying a private getaway or solo travelers who desire luxury accommodations in Northeast Oregon.

This older clean 2 bed 1 bath home within walking distance of many venues. 2 blks to Pioneer Park, swimming pool and ball fields. 6 blks to the Library, City Hall, Liberty Theater, Max Square, and downtown.
Outdoor activities? Best mountain biking in OR is just 3 miles away. 1 hour to Anthony Lakes for skiing and hiking. 1.5 hrs to Eagle Cap Wilderness & Wallowa Lake.

The space
The bungalow is one level with two steps to gain access. You will have access to on site laundry facilities, full kitchen, small deck with two steps to the large fully fenced back yard and BBQ. Guests staying 3 nights or longer will have access to the hot tub. The bungalow was constructed in 1951 and has received several updates. The neighbors own three horses with pasture adjacent to the fenced back yard and property. The railroad is 380 feet from the corner of the house. If you don't mind horses this is the place for you, if the smell of horses is offensive or the sound and shaking of trains keep you awake at night, you will want to rethink booking this bungalow. We do provide ear plugs for those needing them.

The beds are comfy with quality linens. The guest accessible storage closed has extra blankets, towels, board games and robotic vacuums. You have access to a full kitchen, coffee maker, coffee pods, tea, chocolate, and water. There is a TV with Roku and WiFi. Walking distance to several great restaurants, coffee shops, farmer's market in spring/summer, the underground and lots of great shops.

Please NO Pets. Absolutely No Smoking. We live in this neighborhood, please respect a quiet time from 10 PM to 8 AM thank you.

Since we are off grid, if you need overnight power(CPAP) or full time power (besides what the solar system will give), you'll need to bring fuel for the generator * Off Grid defined : The term off-the-grid (OTG) can refer to living in a self-sufficient manner without reliance on one or more public utilities. Off-the-grid homes aim to achieve autonomy; they do not rely on one or more of municipal water supply, sewer, gas, electrical power grid, or similar utility services. There is an inside toilet and battery powered shower. Water is limited so the shower should be used sparingly and the toilet for liquids only.

Fishing in a pond very close (3 minute drive). Mountain biking, hiking, nature watching all as soon as you step off the porch. The large cabin is all yours. If, on occasion we have another guest or my wife and I are in the other cabin, the fire pit and outhouse might be used by others.

There is a fire pit out front, but please bring some wood or gather dead wood in the nearby forest floor as we do not provide wood for the fire-pit. (beware of fire laws, no campfires during extreme fire danger conditions). We provide all the wood for your heat inside.

The Carriage House is a short 5 minute drive from downtown La Grande in a country setting. It's common to have deer walk right by the windows. Very quiet, peaceful and private. Wonderful views of the entire valley. There is hiking available right from the door steps or you can drive 10 minutes to MIRA which is an extensive biking & hiking trail system.

The entire property is NO SMOKING. We are rural and outside fires can start easily.

Please drive right on up to the upper deck level where you can walk straight in. That way you won't have to walk up the stone steps and you won't block the downstairs garage doors! The garages downstairs are for our personal storage and extra vehicle spaces. We do not use them on a daily basis.
