This setting provides you with total solitude and isolation from any hustle and bustle of the busy roadways leading to/from the park. Deer in the front yard and Todd directed us to find the big horn sheep and some good scenic roads. The owner, Todd, responded quickly to messages and calls. He came out early the next morning and spent the day trying to fix the pipe. He did everything he could to make it right, but still no water inside the cabin. We would defiantly stay here again!"

The studio has an outside patio and lawn directly by the unit. Barbecue your dinner while admiring the view! There is private parking and a separate gated entry down to the unit. Our home is located up a dirt road, hill. Winter reservations will need an All-Wheel drive vehicle to be sure of access, even though the owner plows daily. Exterior security cameras are present on the property.

Cabin By the River was built in 1995 and rests on the banks of the Yellowstone River, 10.5 miles north of Gardiner, Montana, the only year around entrance to Yellowstone Park. We have fully recovered from the historic 2022 flood and enjoy full access to Yellowstone Park. The cabin is situated on about 5 acres in the upper Paradise Valley, south of Yankee Jim Canyon and north of Corwin Springs, Montana. We enjoy a country setting with neighbors across grassy fields.

The cabin is decorated in country cabin decor and will sleep five. There is a queen bed in the main floor bedroom and a queen and a single bed in the sleeping loft. The front porch overlooks the river and offers a porch swing, table and chairs and a gas bbq. For rainy days, there are reading materials, games, Dish TV and DVD player with a selection of movies. The small kitchen offers a full size range and refrigerator. Dishes, utensils, coffee maker, crock pot & a brief pantry are provided.

The bathroom is a tub/shower combination. Linens, towels and paper products are provided.

Wifi service is available but caution that we are in a mountainous area and it is sometimes undependable. Your Verizon cell phone works well but is the predominant cell Service in our area.

We have a fire ring down along side the river for marsh mellow roasting or just enjoying.
In the grassy area above the cabin there is a swing set, yard games and tether ball, lots of area to run and play. Fishing in the Yellowstone River from our property can be successful and a great experience in a blue ribbon trout stream.

We are only 10 minutes to Gardiner, the north entrance to Yellowstone. Our guests enjoy coming out of the Park in the evening to the quiet setting of the Cabin By the River. We do have a 4 night minimum.

This bright and sunny apartment has all you need for a great Yellowstone vacation. Located in a quiet residential area of Gardiner, you will be able to relax and get away from it all. It is the ground floor of a shared facility with the property owner. There is one flight of stairs from the parking area to the apartment entrance. This rental is also an Audubon birder’s paradise, with the opportunity to see and photograph western birds right out your window. Feeders and a water feature offer chances to see a variety of species including towhees, chickadees, tanagers, siskins, warblers, and others during the spring season. The spectacular views look out on Gallatin National Forest as well as Electric Peak in Yellowstone Park. Take a step back in time and delve into the rich history of the area. Our 1916 Schoolhouse is located on the historic Stermitz Ranch in beautiful Cinnabar Basin, Gardiner, Montana. This is the original location of the school, which provided a much needed learning place for the children in this rural area - many of whose families immigrated to the area to work in coal mines.

In 2009-2010, the schoolhouse was completely renovated to preserve the structure and maintain the historic integrity of the building. Many of the original items are on display for all to enjoy.

From the moment you drive to the schoolhouse on the hill, you will be amazed by the breathtaking views. Once you set foot inside, you are in for a relaxing vacation. The schoolhouse boasts several tall windows, each with spectacular mountain views - aspen trees and wildlife abound. Watch deer, elk, and the occasional moose graze in the meadow out the front door. Bears, wolves, and coyotes are sometimes spotted on nearby hills and fields.

Experience what life is like on a western ranch. We raise American Quarter Horses, and generally have at least one new foal every summer. Last summer our cabin guests were fortunate enough to witness the birth! The ranch is also home to chickens,pigs,cows,dogs, and cats.

Make sure to pack allergy medicine bc it is an old property that sheds dust and the bugs around Yellowstone come out around 10am so pack lots of bug spray. If you've been surfing Gardiner, Mt on VRBO, you have got to be asking yourself: What is with all these cloned cabins? Let me explain. My cabin and the others were part of the former Yellowstone River Resort. The resort was initially built in 2000 to provide lodging and meals for the Elderhostel programs in and around Yellowstone National Park. In 2005, the owners offered the cabins for sale to individuals. The majority were purchased as rentals or second homes. The exteriors and floor plans are the same. For the most part, it is only the decor that varies and perhaps a few gizmos.

My cabin (#11) is the only one locally owned and operated. As such, I am able to offer significant savings over my neighbors (as much as $10-$40/night) depending on the time of year. The cabin is set off a bit from the other original cabins and is oriented for the mountains views. You can Google Earth the place at 45 degrees 04' 16.65" N 110 degrees 46' 24.31" W (no airstrikes, please). I maintain the cabin personnally and make myself available to answer questions and provide information to help you make the most of your stay. In return, you supplement my livelihood. You do not need to bring anything except your clothes, beach towels if visiting any of the swimming/bathing spots in the area, your food, and yourselves. The kitchen is fully equipped, even with a spice rack and condiments in the fridge. Washer/dryer works well. Three queen beds and a double - our family of 5 slept comfortably. It is quiet and peaceful, with a bunny that visits the corral across from the cabin morning and evening, elk and antelope in areas around the cabins. The quickest route to Gardiner is the dirt road from the cabins (about 8 miles to the Roosevelt Arch); it's kept fairly well but is still a dirt road, thus a few potholes and washboard sections (OK for trucks, SUVs, and miniSUVs but maybe not so great for sedans). Wade is a respectful, nonintrusive host, and you can tell he loves his cabin. It is clean, clean, clean, and comfortable. Worth every penny. I will stay here again in the future and have recommended it to anyone who will listen. 🙂"

Enjoy the relaxing and fun atmosphere of this one of a kind log house. It is tucked in the mountains at the “end of the road” in the old mining town of Jardine, Montana, which is 6 miles northeast of Gardiner – the north entrance to Yellowstone Park. This place offers a nice balance between seclusion and easy access to endless sightseeing, wildlife viewing, and outdoor recreation opportunities.

The North Fork of Bear Creek is only about 100 yards below. It is a beautiful mountain stream and the fishing is good! Nights are quiet and peaceful. And the night sky is brilliant – take time to gaze at the stars.

This house is rustic and has lots of character. It is clean and cozy, but the layout and decor aren’t too fussy or uptight. The original portion of the house was built in 1994 with logs skidded out of the forest with a team of Percheron horses and peeled by hand. It includes an open kitchen with appliances and dishes. There is a deck where you can kick back and take in the scenery. One bathroom has an antique clawfoot tub. There is a loft/bedroom with a homemade queen size log bed. There is a nice sounding old piano for the fun of it.

A versatile 'great' room, which includes a bar (with sink, fridge and TV) and a full bathroom was added on to the house in 2001, and it is ideal for entertaining and hanging out. There are antlers, tanned hides, antiques, etc. throughout the house – sort of a wildlife/western theme. There is a large yard with trees, a picnic table, and a firepit. The native wildflowers are beautiful and plentiful. And various species of birds and wildlife will share this property with you.

There are also two convertible sofa beds in addition to a bedroom and the loft. The unique floor plan of this home can easily and comfortably accommodate a group of 6. This property is kid friendly and your well behaved pets are welcome too!

Welcome to Yellowstone Retreat Rentals! Built in 2021, our two bedroom one bathroom apartments carry all the necessities you need to visit Yellowstone. The apartment is located only four blocks from the historic Roosevelt Arch, the North Entrance to Yellowstone. We are also located a few blocks from Arch Park, which provides grills, a gazebo and picnic tables, and the neighborhood elk that tend to hang out there. With our convenient location, you will also be close to all of the wonderful shops and restaurants our little town has to offer. We have BRAND NEW MATTRESSES delivered in April of 2025.
As mentioned above, each unit has two bedrooms and one bathroom. It also has a laundry room, washer and dryer, with laundry soap and dryer sheets provided (nice for those guests who have been traveling for a bit!). There is a queen bed in each bedroom, and there is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. We provide extra blankets, pillows, and sheet sets for the sleeper sofa. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo, as well as hairdryer and towels provided. We have a full kitchen with a full size oven, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. All of the basic kitchen essentials are provided along with dish soap. You cannot carry bear spray on the airplane, which is why we provide it for you! It is located above the microwave in the kitchen. Parking in Gardiner can be a struggle - not here! There is one parking spot per unit provided, right in front of the building. There is also a paved handicapped spot right in front of our ADA unit for those in need of it.

Some important things to note :
*We DO NOT provide cable TV. We have Smart TVs and you have the ability to log in to any streaming service you carry. We have the best WIFI plan available to accommodate our working travelers and those who want to relax with a movie after a long day in the park.
*Our air conditioning unit (our AC is not central air) is located in the living room, and tower fans are provided in the closet of each bedroom.
*If you are sensitive to noise, we would recommend getting a top floor unit. We worked with our contractor to do all we can to prevent noise transference, but these are apartments with two upper units, and two lower units. We also enforce quiet time from 10pm-7am, and no parties are allowed at our apartment.
*For our ADA unit: The countertops and cabinets are lower, and there is no under sink storage in the bathroom or kitchen to accommodate our guests in wheelchairs.

We are a small family business, and love what we do. We take great pride in our business, and want to provide each guest with a 5 star experience! Unit 4 is in the "Gray Building". When looking at the building, it's the top floor unit on the right with one flight of stairs.

There was a washer and dryer with laundry pods, amd even bear spray to borrow! Walking distance to everything in Gardiner (including an excellent restaurant called Wonderland, and some not so good ones too). So close to the park entrance! Bedrooms were a little warm, though they had fans for those rooms that helped. Would definitely stay here again!"

The Loft at the Yellowstone Archview Guesthouse is perfect for a couple, two couples or a small family. It’s a cozy apartment with a deck, with beautiful views of Yellowstone Park and Electric Peak . The deck is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning sunrise coffee or a sunset dinner. The Loft is connected to the Archview Guesthouse, however, there is a separate entrance and parking. You are just minutes away from the North Entrance of Yellowstone Park.

- "We loved our stay. It was very comfortable for our family of 5. Extremely convenient to visit Yellowstone every day. The house had everything you could ever need and the kids went crazy over the ping pong table in the basement. We would love to visit again." - "Fantastic location and lovely views. We especially liked that it wasn't in the middle of town. The loft was stocked with everything we needed, all we had to do was get groceries. You can see the North Entrance to Yellowstone from the property which is exactly why we wanted to stay in Gardner. The town has all accomodations necessary and then some, making it a great place to stay just outside of the national park. There's isn't much of a yard for the loft but we were in the park all day long so the spacious deck was ample outdoor space and a perfect place to end the evening. There were 2 somewhat minor things that I wasn't completely satisfied with. Firsts, the cleaning wasn't quite up to par (Details matter, like some splatter on the walls around the toilet, hair on the floor behind and around the base of the toilet, pink mildew around the sink and shower drains, and remnants of soap bars from previous guests dried on the shower ledge. Nothing I couldn't remedy with the porvided cleaning supplies but I'd rather not have to.) And the common area listed in the property description is still closed due to "COVID", which is no longer a precaution that needs to be in place. It should be removed from the listing or made available."

Wildlife abounds! Staying at the cabin is like being in the Park but without the crowds. The short drive along the gravel road, Old Yellowstone Trail, is great for viewing wildlife. I drive it with a camera ready to go on the seat beside me.
For the photographers visiting an HD flat screened monitor with IPS is available and photography books.
The cabin is set up with all the modern conveniences, large flat screen TV and Firecube with streaming, Blue ray DVD player, Wi-fi, USB ports, gas and electrical heating.
The kitchen is fully furnished with new dishes, silverware, coffee maker, toaster oven, crock pot, pots and pans, dish towels, mixer, baking pans, utensils, etc.
Washer and Dryer, ironing board and iron, hair drier, lighted vanity mirror w/magnification, USB ports in the walls by the beds and in living room and kitchen.
Many books on nature, etc. to borrow but please leave in the cabin.

The Trout Haven/Mountain View at Yellowstone is self-contained with a fly-fishing theme, electric fireplace in the living area, large dining room table that seats 6. The new Yellowstone Hot Springs are scheduled to open in early 2019 and located just 4 miles from the cabin.

This Yellowstone cabin is a delightful place from which to navigate your Yellowstone National Park vacation, and you can even walk to the park directly from our driveway, only (approx) 300 yards away. Enjoy a BBQ on the patio, a marshmallow roast at the fire pit or a relaxing stroll down our rural road, away from the noises of the city.

Just under 48 miles to Livingston, and 1 1/2 hours from Bozeman Airport, the location is convenient yet very private. We do occasionally see bears, mountain lions, wolves, bison and rattlesnakes on the property and we frequently have deer and elk - especially in the spring and fall. The property does have exterior cameras to for the protection and safety of our property and guests. Many times the elk will eat right outside the patio and bed down for the day. Please do not approach or feed any of the wildlife. You should always maintain 25 yards distance between elk, deer & bison and 100 yards from bears, wolves and mountain lions.

AIR CONDITIONING: Wanderlust Cabin has a central air conditioning unit for those hot and miserable days, plus ceiling fans in each bedroom and living room area. A rarity in the Gardiner area!

BEDROOMS/BATHROOMS: There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. In the master bedroom you'll find a comfortable queen size bed, full bathroom with shower and a large walk in closet. In the second bedroom you will find a comfortable queen size bed, full bathroom with tub shower and closet.

KITCHEN: The kitchen, dining and living areas of the cabin are all one big room, which gives the cabin a very homey feel. The kitchen is equipped with an electric range and oven, refrigerator, microwave, and all the necessary cookware. The kitchen island seats four comfortably and a BBQ grill and deck seating is provided for outdoor meals.

LIVING ROOM: The living room adjoins the kitchen and dining area. Furnished with brand new leather couch and chairs for all the comforts of home.

PARKING: Parking can be problematic in the town of Gardiner, but no worries when staying at the Wanderlust Haven! This cabin is located on a quiet, dead end road and we've provided you with 2 private parking spot just feet from the front door!

ACTIVITIES NEARBY: Enjoy fine hiking, mountain biking, Blue Ribbon fishing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting and all that the Paradise Valley has to offer. A day trip to Yellowstone National Park is a definite must as well as Mammoth Hot Springs & Chico Hot Springs. There's so much to do!

Vintage trailer 3 blocks to YNP, one step above camping in a tent. There is electricity and running water (including a toilet) but NO HOT WATER.The Gardiner laundromat has showers for a fee. The trailer is on a dirt alley , on the same property as a food cart and gift shop which are open until 8pm.The bed is a FULL. Looking for all 5's from people that are happy finding an inexpensive stay in Gardiner. If you are not used to camping, or need a place that is pristine, please book a motel

Stove and oven are not available for use. 2 people maximum and there is only one (1) full bed available for use, so if you have 2 people, you will be sleeping in the same bed. The additional overhead pullout bed is nonfunctional. It is located in alley, everything in Yellowstone is dusty, but here especially so, so there may be some dust in the trailer, but that does not mean it was not cleaned. Two guests sharing 1 bed

Back alley urban cabin 5 blocks away from Yellowstone Arch! Built in 1932, this mini cabin is 288 square feet with a mini kitchen and the world's smallest bathroom! (The shower is 32" x 32"). Relax from the day's adventures in the comfy Queen sized bed.

Welcome to our newly renovated private bedroom. NOW WITH AC.
Our room is equipped with a mini fridge with freezer, hi speed Wi-Fi, Flat screen TV with satellite, coffee table and chairs, queen size bed. There is a microwave available. This room has a shared bathroom - 2 rooms share the bathroom with max of 2 guests each. The following is provided - towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap and a hair dryer. Complimentary instant coffee and tea are available as well.

The space
Stay in this beautiful room and spend a couple of days rafting, taking pictures, horseback riding, exploring Yellowstone.

Enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee while on our porch with views of Yellowstone and Electric Peak.

Wonderland Cafe & Lodge is a boutique eco lodge at the North Entrance of Yellowstone in Gardiner. This 3rd floor, 400 square foot studio offers rustic luxury that will be the perfect place for you to retreat after a day in Yellowstone. Some of the things you will love: 10' ceilings, wood floors, full kitchen, custom mattress, reclaimed wood furniture, cafe on main level, and a private deck with stunning sunset views over Electric Peak!

The space
You will feel at home with every amenity you will need to have a great stay. Studio apartment with rustic elements with modern luxuries all provided in an eco friendly manner to help protect our environment. Small dining area and living area. Even though we provide a small kitchenette , if you don't want to cook, just walk down stairs and enjoy our fresh chef inspired food at breakfast, lunch or dinner!

If you would like to add other units for your family/friends - we have 5 other suites from studios to an additional 2 bedroom. Please let us know how we can help. The entire lodge can sleep 26 people and every unit has its own full kitchen, private bath, etc.

Wonderland Cafe & Lodge is a boutique eco lodge at the North Entrance of Yellowstone in Gardiner. This 3rd floor studio is one of only 6 rooms and is a 400 square foot studio that offers rustic luxury and will be the perfect place for you to retreat at the end of your day. Some of the things you will love: 10' ceilings, large windows, wood floors, full kitchen, custom mattresses, reclaimed wood furniture and a cafe on the main level! Please note that we do not have an elevator.

The Creekside Cabin is a true outdoor experience. Just one step up from camping, the cabin is a unique way to get closer to nature. At Hiawatha’s Camp, you can have uninterrupted access to fishing in the creek, an outdoor campfire and isolated hiking/biking trails. No running water other than the creek! Has a primitive outhouse. There is a shower house/laundry in Gardiner 20 mins away.

The space
Starlink wifi, but no cell service. Rustic Western cabin decor. Be aware that you will have to drive 3 miles on a mountain dirt road to get here!

This is a Jayco 5th wheel trailer, 3 blocks to Yellowstone's North entrance. Tourist season is expensive, stay here for a cozy, clean, budget friendly option. There is 1 parking space. The Jayco has a full kitchen and bathroom, couch, TV and separate room with a queen bed (The bedroom has a short ceiling)
The bed will be made with a fitted sheet and pillow cases, the rest of the clean linens will be provided at the foot of the bed.
The outdoor awning is non-operational

The space
5th wheel trailer. Back alley, close to Tumbleweed cafe and Gardiner Market. 1 parking space. No AC, 2 fans are provided. There is unlimited water, but only a 5 gallon hot water tank, if you want to shower with more than 5 gallons, you will need to wait for water to reheat. Please be mindful of propane usage because that is also a limited tank. The couch is not a pullout couch, there is only one queen sized bed. There is no central heating, only an electric plug in heater. Towels provided.

The space
After parking a few feet from the unit you will enter through the sliding door into your private studio. Inside you will find a spacious living area & bathroom decorated with all local photography from my husband, Nolan. You will have a queen bed & a small table & comfy chairs to either eat or enjoy a book after a long day in the park. There is a 2 person dining set on your private patio so you can enjoy the fresh Mountain View’s & air as well.

The room is equipped with Air conditioning & Heat, a coffee maker, coffee pods, creamers, tea bags, coffee mugs, plastic cups, hot water kettle, paper plates, paper bowls, plastic utensils, a microwave, dog bowls, 2 trash cans, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, Kleenex, and a mini refrigerator.

This comfy and colorful space will make you feel right at home!

Guest access is through their own entrance & is not attached to our home.

The unit is built onto a detached garage. Which means it is not attached to our house — Giving you all the privacy you need!
