Our home was completed in 2016. It sits on the golf course in beautiful Afton, Wyoming. My home has 5 bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms. It is about an hour and a half south of Jackson Hole, WY. This home is very close to gorgeous hikes, mountain lakes, rivers, ATV and snowmobile trails, restaurants, shops and the golf course.

Full kitchen with new appliances. In the basement there is a workout room and sauna for your enjoyment. The master bedroom has a king bed and its own master bathroom attached. The two upstairs bedrooms are also suites with their own bathrooms attached. One bedroom has a king bed and the other has a set of twin bunk beds and a crib in it.

There are 2 basement bedrooms and in between them is a large bathroom with a double vanity. One bedroom has a queen size bed in it and the other has two twin bunk beds. The home sleeps 10 comfortably. Come enjoy beautiful Western Wyoming in an excellent location for local adventures and quick access to day trips at Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone!

UNIQUE! If your looking for a "One of a Kind" custom built cabin, I dare say this is it.

All completely hand built by a skilled craftsman who gathered all the logs, rocks,
burley posts, railing, etc. As soon as you arrive here you feel your self just relax! The place is perfect for hiking, skiing, mountain climbing, art retreats, fishing getaways, or just kicking back on the porch with a good book and the sound of the babbling brook to lull you into complete relaxation. Neighbors are tucked away, with only one family living further up the road, and a few below, keeps this place nice and quiet! Yet you're only 15 minutes away from Afton for supplies.

The main floor of this cabin includes 1 den/bedroom with a queen size bed and, a bathroom with tile shower, kitchen with a new refrigerator, a cute dinning nook, large living/dinning room with a wood burning fireplace. Upstairs loft includes 2 queen size beds. Down stairs is a large bedroom with a king size bed, a walk out to the lower covered patio, full bath, laundry, and a built in sauna room. There is a large covered porch around 3 sides of the main level, overlooking a small year round creek, and the surrounding woods. Also on the porch, is a new propane Barbecue. The home sits on 77+ secluded acres, bordering National Forest. All types of birds, squirrels, chipmunks, woodchucks, deer, and sometimes even an Elk or Moose will pass though. The log home provides an excellent vacation retreat for fishing, rafting, kayaking, hiking, golfing, painting, hunting and/or just relaxing on the covered porches.

All the beds are new with all new linens, The cabin is decorated with original art
work, Hand made furniture, a small sound system, a TV with DVD, and Netflix,
complete kitchen, with all new silverware, coffee pots, waffle iron, etc. All windows are screened, and an old fashioned screen door on the front.

Things to Do in Star Valley:
Hike to the world's largest cold water geyser. This beautiful waterfall turns on and off every few minutes. This is close, beautiful and easy hike.

Golf on the beautiful golf course designed by Johnny Miller on the highway south of Afton.

There is great fishing in Star Valley! There are stores on Main Street that can sell you a license and tell you where the fish are biting and what kind of flies or bait to use.

Mountain biking, tubing on the Salt River, and kayaking are popular.

National Forest picnic sites are available at Allred Flat. Two city parks provide playgrounds and picnic facilities.

The mountain pass at the south end of the valley has great hiking in the summer and snowmobiling and cross-country skiing trails in the winter. You can even get a permit to cut your own Christmas tree in the National Forest on top of the mountain pass.

Great skiing just 70 miles north in Jackson.
Between Afton and Jackson, the Snake River provides world-class rapids for rafting or canoeing.

Yellowstone National Park is 125 miles north. Star Valley makes a great base for exploring the park away from the crowds.

There are elk and bird refuges 30 miles north in Alpine.
