Private, secluded, spacious home on a ridge line with gorgeous views of the Wind River mountains, fishing on the Popo Agie River, and abundant wildlife--only 10 minutes to downtown Lander and close to so many activities and attractions in WY! 3 bedrooms, 2 baths in the main house, with an additional bathroom in the garage office (available seasonally from mid-May through September), master suite, 2 living areas, modern kitchen, large wrap-around deck, basement that includes game room and theater system. It's REALLY more than just OK in our home in Lander, Wyoming!
Our home has almost 3,000 square feet of living space, with over 2,000 additional square feet of wrap-around decks. The main house has 3 bedrooms (master suite with fireplace, sitting area, walk-in closet and master bathroom with shower, jetted tub, and dual vanities), 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom, both with a queen bed. 1 bedroom has a queen bed and a full size futon, as well as a walk-in closet. Kitchen is modern with stainless steel appliances, including 2 ovens, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. Kitchen is well stocked for 12 people. Living area has luxurious leather furniture (recliners with USB charging access) and a large 65" TV with satellite, ROKU and DVD access. Family room also has a fireplace and leather furniture that is open to the dining area and kitchen. Kitchen is also equipped with a small TV and satellite access. The dining area seats 6 comfortably at the table (with additional leaves for the table to seat 6 more with folding chairs). 4 bar stools are available at the kitchen bar.
The basement is 60% finished with a large game room and theater system. This space can also accommodate additional guests ($25.00 additional per guest over 6) with air mattresses and/or cots. The house is equipped with 1 queen and 1 twin air mattress.
You will enjoy all kinds of wildlife in the surrounding 8 acres. 9 guests can stay comfortably in the main house without the use of cots and/or air mattresses. (Guest totals over 6 do incur an additional $25.00 per person per night charge.) Additional guests can have a private space, with bathroom, in the garage office that has a queen size bed in the main area. Cots and/or air mattresses may also be utilized in this private space, if desired. (NOTE: The garage office and bathroom are unavailable during the months of October until mid-May to avoid pipe breakages due to the extreme cold temperatures in Wyoming.) Please no large parties or events.
Ample parking is available. Outdoors you will find rustic seating around the fire pit. There is an outdoor swing to enjoy the scenery, high-end patio furniture on the deck, and a built-in horseshoe area to enjoy as well. Don't forget the expansive stairway that leads to the river! Enjoy the view from the decks as well as from river!
The house is equipped with a working security system, and cameras (non-working from a previous security system) are installed in the basement and garage office. Outside cameras/floodlights are installed with the security system.
No pets or smoking please. Also, we will provide wood for the fire pit, but please do not start fires in the wood stove.
There is an electric fence on the river-side of the property. Please be aware that you will receive a shock if you touch the fence.
We do ask that you "leave your worries and your shoes at the door", enjoy our beautiful home and come back to visit the next time you are in Lander!

This is a Montgomery Wards kit home that was brought in by train. It is located on one of the oldest streets in town. You are 3 blocks from Main Street and only 5 from our beautiful city park were the popoagie river runs. This home is 3 levels with lots of stairs. On the top floor there are two bedrooms king size bed and a queen size bed with one full bath and a 1/2 bath. 4 can sleep on this level. The main level has 1 bedroom with a pull out couch. This is a full size and 2 people can sleep on this level. There is a 1/2 bath also. The basement has a bedroom with a queen size bed and a full bathroom. There is also a Day bed off of the living room which can sleep 1. The basement sleeps 3. This house has beds for 9 total. The kitchen table has 8 chairs. And there are two living rooms. The basement living room has a surround sound for movie viewing. Nice large yard with a bbq grill and a 6 person hot tub. At times the wild life is in or around the yard.

Absolutely loved the back porch and ate all our meals out there. The only thing that would’ve been nice to know ahead of time is that the house did not have central air. It wasn’t a huge deal though since we had fans and could open the windows at night. Host was super easy to communicate with. All in all, we had a great time."

The only thing a bit odd was the round bed- as my hubby is tall and found it a bit awkward to sleep on. We met the owner and he was very friendly- but most of the time we had the place to ourselves. With limited hotels in the area, I highly recommend this cabin, it is worth the stay!"

Melissahof is a 35-acre organic working farm that ethically raises heritage poultry and heirloom garlic. The farm borders 600+ acres of state land.
The name "hof" is German for farm, and it reflects the rural spirit. Melissa established Melissahof Hatchery after rescuing a mail order of baby chicks that had been in transit for over 80 hours (chicks can only survive 72 hours without food or water)! The heritage poultry flocks are raised on pasture in rotation with cattle and the heirloom garlic beds to regenerate the health of the soil, water, plants and all animals.

This quaint and unique space is brand new and will have you smiling your entire stay. Enjoy a queen bed downstairs and a queen bed in the loft. This is the perfect place for people on a work trip, traveling as a couple, rock climbers visiting Sinks Canyon, or for an entire a family.

The main heater had other plans, but who could blame it in those temps. The hosts handled the situation impeccably with kindness, care and speed. We would definitely stay here again."

This basement apartment has its own separate entrance and full kitchen. Each bedroom has large, airy evac windows. A shared laundry room and cozy interior makes it a great spot for extended stays.
This is the separate basement apartment of a single-family home. Residents live upstairs, and you may hear the walking around. The backyard and laundry room are shared with the upstairs unit. The furnace is located in the basement, and will make noise when turned on in the winter months.

I have 3 bedrooms and I only use one of the 3 bedrooms. Its a mobile home, very clean, private, very cheap to stay if you need somewhere to crash cheap. Very quiet place nestled in an alley, very peaceful neighborhood. Close to everything. If you need to crash and dont have a lot of $$ I rent the room super super cheap so you can afford. Pets allowed and your allowed to stay as many days as you pay for

Entering the home through the backdoor there is a Mud Room that leads into a Game area, an Exercise room/w seating to watch TV/DVD, down a hallway to a private entrance into bedroom #1 setup with 2 twin beds, an exit door leads to a shared bathroom. Bedroom #2 also has it's own entry, set up with 1 twin bed and a Queen an exit that leads to a complete coffee bar where you can have your morning coffee or beverage, set and watch the occasional wildlife go by, this room opens into, the heart of the home, a spacious kitchen/dinning room with Breakfast Nook, eat at Island that seats 4, adjacent is a Great room that houses a full library, 2 setting areas, one of the three fire places, a player piano, stereo system/w surround sound, a comfortable Queen sofa bed, a table set up to play a game, work a puzzle, Smart TV,a desk/w monitor/printer/charging station. Outside has a smoking area with another additional seating area for relaxing in the sun or star gazing at night.

I've designed the "Room at The Little Lander Inn" to provide you a budget friendly option in Lander...yet everything is still to the standard you've come to expect from me as a host (organic sheets and towels, etc.). ~ Budget friendly notes: the twin beds are actually cots but SUPER comfy; you share a bathroom w/me; kitchen, laundry & sauna = shared, too :-)

It is cute, it is clean and cozy —and I designed it to be affordable. That said, PLEASE keep in mind that the Room at The Little Lander Inn offers what it is: a place for those who really need just a simple place to chill and sleep (and shower) while in Lander...complete with pets to snuggle ;-) ~ Yes, you are welcome to the kitchen and the living room, just keep in mind both are shared with me :-)
WHAT IS/IS NOT PROVIDED for your stay:
a. clean, organic bedding and towels; robes are in the room if you wish to use them (they are clean, but not organic)
b. coffee that I brew in the early a.m. (around 5 a.m.) and then put into a carafe to keep it warm (not provided: sweeteners and/or creamers)
c. small selection of tea bags
d. shampoo and conditioner (not provided: soap, body wash, lotions, etc.)
e. access to kitchen includes: glasses, mugs, dishes, silverware

Your "Room at The Little Lander Inn" is in a modest house just a couple blocks from downtown Lander and a few miles from Sinks Canyon.
You will have full access to the upstairs of the house. Your Room at The Little Lander Inn includes: your bedroom (private). You will share the upstairs living room and bathroom with me. The kitchen is shared with me and possibly other guests who stay in the lower level. The washer, dryer and sauna are downstairs...those are shared, as well.
PETS AT THE INN: I have two amazing rescued English Setters and three sweet rescued cats. They will be happy to snuggle with you on the couch in the living room. THEY ARE NOT allowed in your bedroom because I like to keep that room free of pet fur for those guests who might have slight allergies.
The studio apartment is located in a cement block building that at one time was an Auto Mechanics Shop. It is one block off of Main Street. In close proximity to Catholic College, NOLS, and all downtown restaurants and bars. There is one room with one plush queen sized bed, couch (with hideaway bed), television with internet access, Wi-Fi for guest use. The kitchen is separated by a breakfast bar and bar stools. There is a walk-in closet and a bathroom with shower off of the large room.
The space
The studio apartment is for your use. There will be a door separating the studio from a garage and backyard parking area. The backyard will be used by owners during events such as 4th of July and Lander Live. The guests are always welcome to join in the gatherings, if they'd like too.

Guests have access to the entire front which is the studio. Please respectfully stay out of the garage.

Guests are asked to strip the bed after their stay and leave all dirty linens, towels etc. in a pile on the closet floor.

Cozy one bedroom guest apt located on our spacious 10 acre ranch with spectacular views and privacy, yet only 5 min. from town. The space
The apartment can be found on our beautiful, spacious ranch which is located at the base of table mountain. We get regular stunning sunrises and sunsets with the Wind River Mountains in the background. Our ranch features a variety of farm animals, including 3 horses, two friendly dogs, ten chickens and occasionally two cows, deer and pheasants. The ranch is kept very organized and tidy.
Guest access
In general, feel free to walk and explore our property. We have chickens in the chicken coop close by the apartment and three horses on the pasture that you can visit. Make sure you close any open gates immediately after you enter or leave. You may walk anywhere on the pasture, maybe have a picnic. There is a small stream by the tall trees on the pasture and you can cross on a bridge located towards the left which leads to the other side. The kids are welcome to play on the swing set. Please avoid the barn, as there is a tractor and other possibly hazardous equipment. The garage next to the apartment is also off limits.
Other things to note
You are more than welcome to walk the property. Once you enter our property you will see our large pasture on the left side of the driveway. Please remember to close any gates that you go through as we have three horses in the pasture; Slick (pony/foxtrotter), Little Foot (red), Rambo (black) and Maui the white horse. They are friendly, however, approach at your own risk and never from behind. They usually will come, if you whistle.
There are often whitetail deer in the trees across the stream, where there is a culvert to access the back pasture. Keep an eye out for pheasants and sandhill cranes as well. Let us know, if you need anything or have any questions.
The location doesn't get any better than this! This cute and spacious apartment with creekside balcony right off Main St downtown is just blocks away from all of Lander's best restaurants but set far enough back from Main St that you don't get the street noise.

Welcome to our large 1 bedroom + funky den apartment with 1 king bed in the large master bedroom and double queen bunk bed in the den. It is recently updated with new stainless appliances in the kitchen and all new furnishings throughout as of Jan 2025. The 3 large beds make it a perfect crash pad for families or groups traveling to Lander for short stays that don't mind sharing the single bathroom or an incredibly spacious apartment for a single or couple with the optionality to host friends.
The apartment is equipped with a sit stand workstation with a 4k monitor, high speed wifi, and everything needed to plug in for those professionals working from home on the road.
Located above the Middle Fork restaurant right on Main St, the location doesn't get any better than this. Although you may contend with some kitchen noise from time to time, It is set far back enough from Main St so you don't get the street noise.
Outdoor enthusiasts can also enjoy the private balcony overlooking a seasonal creek that runs all summer, or take a short 3 block walk to the paved trail along the Popo Agie river that leads down to city park just 7 blocks away, or hop in the car to Sinks Canyon State park just 12 minutes away.

The Little House is approximately 600 square feet. The layout includes a small bathroom (with shower), bedroom, living room, kitchenette and front porch. This space has just the essentials. Guests are encouraged to help themselves to the garden! We enjoy sharing the fruits (and veggies) of our labor and also exchanging recipes.

Artsy Landiego isn’t fancy, but boy is it cool. This 3 bedroom is located on Lander’s south side behind some native chokecherry trees in a revamped 1963 Doublewide Detroiter Deluxe, just blocks from City Park and ½ block from the golf course and the Lander Community Center. Most of the artwork is by local Lander artists and many pieces reflect Lander’s unique charm. This home has internet but no tv. Enjoy this beautiful kitchen, huge bathtub and the insider's eye at Lander's art world!
The space
This tucked away gem has an open-concept front half and small, bright bedrooms in the back. It is kind of a work of art in itself - new open floorplan, windows, roof, flooring and funky funky paint. It is the only trailer in a neighborhood of 100 year old homes. Many people who walk by everyday don't know that it is hiding back there, behind those choke cherry trees. Staying here is a way for you to see Lander and it's cool art scene from an incognito perch. Eventually the outside (side deck and small fenced yard) will be ready for guests to enjoy. Right now it is just a space to pass through to get to the funky art house.

This whole home is yours to enjoy. The outside yard and deck are not yet inviting, so I'd suggest admiring the beautiful lawns and gardens on a walk to City Park before you head up to the legendary Sinks Canyon.

Other things to note
Note to the tall folks! This house was built back when people came in slightly smaller sizes. The main living room and bedroom have standard ceiling heights, however the kitchen and bathroom areas have shorter ceilings. From personal experience I am 6'1" and have zero problems in any of the spaces, but if you are over 6'5" you may begin to feel a little cramped. Also the eaves (overhang) is rather low and you will need to watch your head so you don't bump it.
Some details on the sofa - We've gotten a lot of great feedback on the sofa: it's chic, comfy, beautiful, etc. We've also received some notes that the sofa was not exactly what guests were anticipating. So we thought we might clarify some of the additional details and let guests know what to expect. Firstly, it is not a sleeper sofa. If you are traveling with 3 guests, the sofa is a valid sleeping space, but at the end of the day (pun intended) it's still just a sofa. Next, the seating level is lower than your average sofa. The seating surface is about 13" above the ground. For reference, a milk crate is 11" high. Guests that have had previous knee/hip surgeries or any mobility issues, might find that the low seating surface is not ideal.

Relax with a cold drink and a view of the Wind River Mountains at the end of a sun-soaked day at Windy Ridge Cabin. Updated in 2013, the Cabin offers a sweet home base while you work and play in Fremont County. The cabin is out of town, 15 minutes' drive from Lander and 20 minutes from Riverton.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located apartment. It’s located on a quiet street across from the church, only one block off of the highway. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are very nice. It is within walking distance of lots of parks, restaurants, downtown, and even the hospital. This stylish place is perfect for couples, or the solo traveler. You'll be staying in a quiet country setting, but only three minutes from Lander. The Barndominium on North Fork sits next to our home on a ranch with scenic views, wildlife and cattle. The one bedroom apartment is fully furnished and located on the second story in a newly constructed barn, thus sweetly called a "barndominium"! You'll have private parking with direct, separate and secure access to your apartment.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located near the historic church, 2 blocks from the main street and next to the little general store. South facing living room windows provide great views of the town and surrounding mountains. The elevated location allows the afternoon breeze to pass through the little patch of aspens in the front yard.
The space
The entire cabin is around 425 square feet in size. The living/kitchen/dining are open with great views across the front yard to the south. The bedrooms are small with double beds, small benches and a short hanging rod/shelf above the bench. There is also a small bedside table with a plug strip containing 3 outlets and usb/usc ports. The bathroom is about the size of that in an RV - really. The tiny shower will require some attention to be sure the curtain stays inside the basing. A senior height toilet is very close to the sink, so a grab bar has been provided if help standing up is needed.
The little cabin was built in the mid 1970s (as evidenced by the paneling and green kitchen sink). We hope to replace the bedroom windows this year. There is no internet or TV at this point - think of this as a rustic getaway. Passive cooling is a good idea in the early morning and evenings, a portable AC unit is provided during the warm summer months. Screen doors at each side of the cabin, combined with the ceiling fan should help cool things down. Small fans are provided for additional comfort.
The yard has had extensive dirt work, so there is no vegetation, and we ask that you use the outside mats to wipe off your feet before you come in. The exterior is still a work in progress as we complete the staining and regain functionality to some of the windows.

The entire property and the cabin is available to the guests. Parking is on the west side between the cabin and Geissler Avenue. Note that Google maps and the AirBnB map list the street to the south of the cabin as "Northview Drive" - which doesn't exist. The correct name of the street is Salina, and there are road signs in town to help you navigate around. A door code will be provided upon confirmation.
Make a note of Pam's cell phone and the door code separate from your device in case you don't have reliable service in town. Verizon users often don't have service.

Our home is a manufactured one and nothing fancy but we think it's great and are happy it's ours. It is on 2 acres in a quiet neighborhood only 5 minutes from downtown, with a stellar mountain sunset view, and some cool wildlife. We are planning on spending this summer in our truck camper, either parked in our driveway or on trips. You would have the house to yourself, we just will be on the property sometimes. We’ll do our best to stay out of your way & will likely have garden surplus for you.

Our property is down a 1/4 mile long private dirt road, which is in good shape. It goes behind a construction company.
Our house has a nice covered porch, with a fenced in area. We have a few trees and lots of open space, with a compost pile in the back corner. There is a fire pit in the field in front of the house. We also have a vegetable garden which will hopefully be producing.
There is some barbed wire fencing surrounding the property. There are some stray cats that visit from time to time. I don't know if we have any snakes but please be wary of snakes while you are in Wyoming.

Whether you're visiting for work, community activities, or leisure, our location offers easy access to the best that Lander has to offer, including the ability to walk just about anywhere from here. There's also great walking and running routes right out the front door.
There are multiple off-street parking spaces, making it convenient to park even a larger vehicle.
Additionally, our home has ZERO steps, and both entrances are larger than 32 inches. The king-size bedroom also had a bedroom door larger than 32 inches.

Guest access
You will have private access to the whole property, with no shared spaces or attached units/shared walls.
Other things to note:
We will include coffee, dishwasher soap, shampoo/conditioner/body wash and laundry detergent.
You'll also have plenty of clean towels, bedding and pillows during your stay.
The trash bid is located on the side deck. Please bag and tie all garbage bags prior to placing them in the dumpster. Trash pickup day is on Wednesday prior to 6am, so you can wheel it out to the street Tuesday evening if applicable to your stay. It's picked up weekly.
The Wi-Fi name and password is located in the office. There's also a Smart TV you can use too.
Upon leaving, please rinse all used dishes and load them in the dishwasher. Please lock all windows and doors. Please place used towels in the hampers or shower. Please take all bagged trash to the outside dumpster. Also, please turn off all lights, and leave the heat setting on.
Please note, all pets must be registered during the booking process. Pet fee and pet restrictions apply.
The Hyde Out is just off of Main Street in Atlantic City, Wyoming, and features a full kitchen, private bath, and extra-long twin beds that can be converted to a king for stays of 14 days or longer. Beds accommodate 2 guests; an air mattress is available for a 3rd. Children under the age of 10 are not allowed.
There is also a covered balcony overlooking town. Please note that this is a seasonal rental and is closed during the winter.
Perfect for CDT, BDR and others traveling through.
The space
The lower level of the building is home to Snowbound Studio, where handmade pottery is created by the host and offered for sale. Hyde Out guests have a private entrance on the uphill side of the property, with their own parking area near the front door, accessed by 3 steps. There is also a ramp leading to the covered porch for additional access. The kitchen includes cookware, dishes and utensils, a coffee pot and mugs. All linens are provided. Only non-toxic cleaning and laundry products are used for the premises. Our location has a nice view of the historic town and is a single guest suite, resulting in lots of privacy and a quiet area to rest. We are competitively priced with the other rentals in town.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire private guest suite and balcony. No one lives on the premises, but it has adjacent work spaces that may be occupied during the day.
Other things to note
The local eateries may have limited days of operation, depending on the time of year. There is a laundromat down the street. There is no gas station in town, so Guests should plan to top off their tank in Lander or Farson before starting up the mountain. I also rent to tourists driving through town and responding to my sign.
Please be aware that due to our remote location, cell service may be limited or non-existent, depending on your carrier. Verizon doesn't work at the rental, while T-Mobile and AT&T have limited service. Driving to the top of the hill on the west side of town can help pick up a signal from the tower over by the Louis Lake Road on Highway 28. I've heard that Verizon customers can drive down to the Red Canyon Overlook to pick up a signal from one of their towers.
There is a smart TV enabled with basic Roku and Peacock channels, along with other content.

This Lyndal Cedar Home was built in the 70’s, surrounded by pasture with views of the Wind River mountains and Lander valley.
