- "Driving in is quite an adventure, which was awesome! We walked into the most beautiful cabin with modern facilities!! It was rainy & very chilly, in mid-June!! So we appreciated the pellet stove immensely! We would run it for a short time & it would heat up the entire cabin, even all through the night! The bed is super comfy. The linens are quality. Once the weather cooperated, the views were spectacular! We enjoyed our stay & look forward to staying again!!"

More spacious and safer than a hotel room! This Deluxe Guest Suite is a cozy, private place to rest. With relaxing decor and a comfortable sitting area, you will feel right at home! Our Guest Suite comfortably sleeps two adults in the queen bed. The couch or inflatable queen air mattress in the adjoining sitting room could accommodate additional children or a flexible guest. (We have an additional room available for rental on the first floor that sleeps 4 comfortably with a queen bed and a trundle bed in a separate room. Text for more details if interested. Occasionally, this separate bedroom is occupied by another guest or family member.)

Off the downstairs hallway is a room with a kitchenette and laundry. The kitchenette has a mini-refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and electric tea kettle for guests use. Guests are welcome to do the laundry for $5 a load (wash, dry, & detergent included). Please note that this is a shared space. This is the laundry for the whole house so we occasionally pop into switch a load of laundry. (The deluxe guest suite is separate and private behind a locking door for the bedroom and bathroom.)

Guests park in our spacious driveway and enter and exit through a keypad located on the garage door. Late arrival is not a problem. Upon entering the house, the whole first floor is dedicated to guest use. (We live on the second floor and use a different entrance.) The first bedroom is newly remodeled, colorful, Spanish-themed with decor items from our travels in Latin America. This room sleeps 4 with a queen-sized bed and a twin-sized bed with a second twin trundle bed underneath. At the other end of the hall is the Deluxe Guest Suite. Nothing that inconveniences guests.**.

Guest access
Guests have access to 2nd floor, which contains 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bath. Guests are welcome to use front, side & backyard; seating, BBQ grill, etc. The owners’ living space is on a different floor & is not accessible to guests & most of owner’s living space, except the entry/living room, is clearly closed from the rest of the home via a set of double doors. The stairwell to the guest’s upstairs space is only a few feet from the front door.

Other things to note
*We are doing some minor, upgrades etc & landscaping at the house, i.e. new kitchen cupboards, repainting, replacing doors, new flower beds, etc., so there probably will be MINOR evidence of some type of 'work in progress' (an unpainted door or door trim removed etc). Nothing that inconveniences guests. House is very comfortable, has +amenities &our prices are low keeping this in mind.
-We ask guests to pls shut off/turn on low setting the ACs if leaving house & if ACs are on to keep kitchen door closed & bdrm 2 (top of stairs) bdrm door closed.
*We have 4 cats, who are allowed in/out of the house, except in the evening (6pm and later)
*Pet fees for long term (over 4 days) billed weekly after reservation confirmation; $7 week per pet/ $25/month 1 pet, $40 month multiple pets.
* Steps - there are 4 steps at the main entry of the house & the AIRBNB suite is on the 2nd floor - 13 steps.
-* No laundry after 8 pm please. Guests provide own laundry soap, etc.

Light and bright rustic studio space with simple kitchenette and full bed. Access across the backyard to main home for shared full kitchen, laundry, and 3/4 bath. Private and peaceful sleeping space! No television, air conditioning, attached bath, or black-out curtains.

This cute little bungalow, built in 1917, is located in the historic downtown area. It is within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops, a distillery, a historic neighborhood specialty grocery, movie theaters, parks, golf courses, multi-use trails, the North Platte River, and David Street Station (a public gathering spot that features a stage, summer splash pad, and winter ice skating rink).
The cozy backyard with its sunny deck and BBQ grill is a great space to relax.
