The space
Our home has a main floor master and 2-additional bedrooms, upstairs. There’s also a fun playroom with a small tv & a variety of DVD’s for the kids! We especially love the sitting area upstairs, where curling up with a good book sounds perfect. The kitchen is all brand new and well equipped, so whether you’re having delivery pizza, or grilling a steak, everything you need, is there. Feel free to utilize the washer/dryer if you’d like…there’s even a fold down ironing board, if you need to get the wrinkles out! The backyard is currently a work in progress. It’s fun to watch it mature and improve.

Glendo State Park is very close by, although the weather was quite cool and stormy during my stay. Not a hardship, though, as I thoroughly enjoyed the cozy cabin, and working on music and projects. Notes: There are trains across the road, but no train horns, so I didn't find them bothersome. If you want to enjoy cooking in the nice cabin kitchen, bring food with you. This cabin is located on a private property with 3 other houses it has a fenced in yard for kids to play and dogs to run. The deer creek is just a few minute walk from the cabin as well as a park for kids to play. The breathtaking views of the the Lake and Glendo State Park are truly amazing. Enjoy the peacefulness as you sit on the deck and watch the Deer and Turkeys coming through the trees.
Our Home is located in the gated community of Remington Ridge Estates. Reno Cove boat dock is located just down the road from the front gates.
Enjoy the fire pit in the evening with plenty of room for everyone, also the 9ft pool table down stairs and shuffle board out on the back patio. House is stocked with plenty of games and puzzles, and great Wi-Fi connection is available.

Welcome to Zelie’s in Douglas, WY. Be our guest in this partially remodeled pearl of a home built over one hundred years ago.

The living room is designed to accommodate small gatherings with a smart TV and plenty of comfortable seating options. The Garden Springs Room has a queen bed and The Wild Rose Room has two twin beds. The back lounge is an eclectic house addition, with an extra twin bed. A playpen, toddler bed, pull out couch, and a roll out queen size futon mattress are available by request. It’s currently equipped to comfortably sleep 7 people in four separate sleeping areas. Keep in mind there is only one bathroom.

Get cozy and stay awhile. The kitchen has a coffee and tea bar, some newer cabinets, a cool fridge, a microwave, lots of storage, and all the basics to make homemade happiness. The kitchen floors are just right for boots and dancing and turning up the music while hand-washing dishes.


Sweep off the back patio from the never-ending sprinkle of twigs and leaves that fall from the trees and use the outdoor space for a picnic, tea, or dinner when the weather is warm, dry, and kind.

Watch your step. There is a step on the front porch and a step in between the kitchen and back lounge without a railing. Some steps are closed on the back porch.

This 35 acre property has 3 individual buildings with amazing mountain views, star gazing and true tranquility. Please contact me for special event support, rates, etc. Certain functions/receptions can be hosted here for a small additional charge.

**Note - this property is shut down from October 1st - April 1st due to unpredictable winter weather and so your booking in these dates will be automatically declined.

If you are interested in renting the property for two week or more during the winter, please message me as special plowing arrangements can be made. Please be advised that you may become snowed in and snowshoes or snow machines are the only guaranteed way out. It is really fun to be at the property in the winter, but special arrangements need to be made.

***Additional Note - This is a remote mountain property, not the Four Seasons Downtown:) We make every effort to have all buildings in great shape for your arrival, but even in a short few days after a cleaning things can happen, such as.......In bad years there can be A LOT of miller moths. The shop vac is your best friend, but they can be everywhere. It is very season and moisture dependent. There are also mice that can and do get in the properties. You may encounter mic droppings in some areas. Again, the shop vac is your best friend in these instances. It is a very clean and very cozy property, but they are "dated" as far as the overall vibe. I tell you all this to ensure that your expectations can be met and you have a great stay, not to freak you out. I have just had some guests become upset at these two items above specifically. The reality is, its a cabin in the middle of nowhere, and the realities are just what they are!
