This cozy house is clean, rustic, and has everything you need in a home away from home. It’s located on our ranch, Big Run Ranches. It has beautiful views of the Uintah Mountains, only 14 miles to the mouth of the canyon, 30 minutes to Vernal, 20 minutes to Roosevelt or 40 minutes to Dinosaur National Monument. Love fishing? Starvation Reservoir is 50 min away, Flaming Gorge is about 77 miles away, the Uintah River is 20 min away, and Strawberry Reservoir is 1 hour and 20 min.
This is a wonderful getaway to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet near the mountains. The mouth of Uintah Canyon is 20 min away. There are many trails to hike (sheep bridge is a 8 mile round trip hike) and go picnic.
There many be cows calving, water turns, goats, haying, and many other farm animals (depending on the time of year). There is also a lot of wildlife around including deer and elk. The property also has a grill/smoker for you to enjoy. (Bring your own briquettes) The property is on a quiet road with very few neighbors. Enjoy a walk down the road or sit on the back porch and enjoy the fresh air.

Sleeping arrangements are 3 bedrooms: #1 - 1 king bed #2 1queen size bed #3- 1 bunk bed, a twin bed and queen bed. There is two large living rooms, 2 bath (one with a bathtub and one with a shower), and a small kitchen with dining room table. There is WIFI on the property with a smart TV with Netflix and Disney + Subscriptions.

This is the perfect property to stay in when you are coming to the Uintah Basin to hunt or fish. If you bring a horse there is panels set up to keep them in. Enjoy the great outdoor but come back to this cozy home.

Our guest love the location. It is in a remote location down a country road. The house doesn’t have air conditioning but if you open windows at night in the summer you’ll feel the cool north wind then close everything in the morning and the house stays nice. There are fans in the house. In the fall you will hear elk bugling and the river flowing. Depending on the time of year there can be a lot of wildlife around. We’ve seen moose, elk, deer, bear, and lots of small animals.

Newly updated with new queen mattress (not an airmattress) in second bedroom and new twin bed in children's bedroom. New AC mini-split units upstairs and a back deck, this home is located within one block of the county library, county building, and 4 restaurants. It is also located within walking distance of the Utah State Field House/ Dinsoaur Museum and a green park area that is perfect for pet owners. It is within driving distance of the Dinosaur Quarry and Red Fleet and Steinaker state reserviors. There are also 2 rafting companies within a 1 mile radius for rafting trips on the Green River. We do our best to follow current COVID cleaning guidelines for the home and the business. There is ample street parking for vehicles towing trailers (such as UTVs) and additional parking under a carport. The home also has one bedroom set up for families with small children to stay along with two other regular bedrooms and a fenced backyard and play area.

Our home is spacious and clean with decorated rooms to fit every style. It is comfortably furnished, and inviting! Our home has 2 large gathering spaces to accommodate our guests, 4 Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full-size kitchen with dining area, fridge, sink, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. There is a deck with views of surrounding Mountains, access to a laundry room with washer and dryer, High speed internet, flat screen television with Roku, and plenty of parking space.
Expect to find a supply of linens and toiletries in the bathrooms, and a basic supply of items in the kitchen cupboards.
There is an on demand hot water heater, a furnace to heat in the winter and central air conditioning to keep the space cool in the summer.

Kitchen was well appointed, there is a sitting room as well as a living room with TV, which was nice for those who wanted to watch tv and those who just wanted to chat. The master was spacious with a king bed and en suite bathroom with a soaking tub! The other bedrooms shared one bathroom, which worked fine for us. There’s a deck off the back door and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets. The area is quiet with a gas station/convenience store as you turn off the highway. There are others staying/living below, but that was not a bother to us at all. I thought the property only had 3 bedrooms but was pleasantly surprised to find four bedrooms upon arrival. We came in the spring a needed bug spray in the morning and at dusk, lots of mosquitoes so be aware of that. I would stay here again!"

The third bedroom features tributes to dinosaur country hyper-unique to the Uintah Basin. The den downstairs themes to the rustic rich history of the area that was fueled by the remains of dinosaur and fauna long ago.

Two updated bathrooms are located near the bedrooms, both with updated facilities and a broad modern shower head that doubles as a mirror. Linens and shower essentials are provided.

Our RV and 15 passenger van had no problem parking in the open/expansive driveway areas - and the gazebo overlooking the valley and trail up to rockside with petroglyphs was a memory we will not soon forget! The hosts were so helpful with suggestions for the family (we wish we could have stayed here the whole week!) I do not think we realized that the lower level was still in renovation, and the spiral staircase to that level required our creativity to move a cocktail table and block off our almost 2yr old grandson. The eat-in kitchen fit all of us for dining and card games. My husband appreciated the big TV for catching an Orioles game at the end of a busy day! - We would HIGHLY recommend this home for those considering a Vernal visit - and suggest staying at least for an extended weekend or weeklong visit to be sure to enjoy it even more thoroughly! This accommodation is just blocks away from the hospital which is in walking distance and sits adjacent to the golf course. only 5 to 10 minutes away from every convenience Roosevelt has to offer, yet has a has a quality of isolation with no through traffic as it's not in a shared neighborhood but in a nice private little Nook of about 1 acre. there is a queen bed, a sofa sleeper, a double berkelounger, and a separate twin bed. The separate twin bed and sofa sleeper can be moved out if tenant requests.

Temple Place #2 is in the same parking lot as the Vernal Temple and shares an entrance with Smuin Dental and Chiropractor but is a very quiet environment!

We have a fully stocked kitchen with coffee maker and arcade machine!

We have a full bathroom upstairs and a SMALL bathroom with a shower and toilet downstairs. No sink but we have hand sanitizer.

BEDROOMS ARE UPSTAIRS so you’ll have to go up 2 flights of stairs.

Temple Place 1 & 2 is located in town and is a cozy space to stay while visiting the beautiful Uintah Basin. Our property borders the gorgeous Vernal Temple, in fact it’s literally in our backyard, which provides a breathtaking view. We're also right next to Main Street, so you'll never be far from the action!

The space
Temple Place #1 is in the same parking lot as the Vernal Temple and shares an entrance with Smuin Dental and Chiropractor but is a very quiet environment!
We have a fully stocked kitchen with coffee maker. We have a full bathroom upstairs with a deep soaker tub and a SMALL bathroom with a shower, toilet and small sink downstairs.
Bedrooms are upstairs so you’ll go up 2 flights of stairs.
Bedroom 1-Queen bed with 40” Roku smart TV.
Bedroom 2- full size bed with 32” Roku smart TV.
Bedroom 3- 1 set of bunk beds and a single twin bed to enjoy!
Fully fenced back yard and grill for your use!

There is a Large parking area located next to the back of the house, a concrete slab and a little asphalt for three normal sized vehicles to park. or a work truck and utility trailer. If you need more parking space please message me and we can work something out we have a big yard. There is a Full kitchen and dining area with a big living room. two decent sized bedrooms with queen beds and one bathroom. P.S my husband does drive semi trucks with trailers so please allow space for him to get in and out of the driveway. Thank you

There is a back door next to guest parking area, with a lockbox and combination to access the house and the entire home is all yours for your stay.

First and far most welcome I am excited to have you. I want my guest to enjoy their stay while they are here and have a great time, please respect the neighbors around you, and no all night parties. Thank you. And as for pets. One dog is allowed and if you have more than one dog you must disclose them all and I except them before you arrive. Please bring whatever they need for sleeping as they are NOT ALLOWED ON THE BEDS OR COUCHES. sorry no cats allowed I’ve had a bad experience with them here. We have had people try to sneak pets in the house that haven’t been disclosed and approved! There are security cameras outside the house for your protection and ours. we do want to give our guest the privacy and respect they deserve while they are staying here. and we would like the same respect to our property in return. Thank you 😊

This charming rambler is set right in the middle of town within walking distance to the Vernal LDS Temple, parks, the dinosaur museum and downtown eateries. The Uintah Basin provides many opportunities for day recreation at nearby Steinaker Reservoir and Red Fleet State Park, and Flaming Gorge is under an hour away. The patio and large yard provide ample space for play. There is also RV parking and hookups out back. Come play in Dinosaurland!

The space
The home has a large, round living room for gathering with two comfortable bedrooms with queen-size beds and one bunk room that will sleep five. Hallways and doors are wide enough for wheelchair access. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans as well as basics like oil, salt, and pepper. There is table seating for 14 between the kitchen table and dining room table. It is important to note that the master bath has a tub only while the hall bathroom has a shower only. Pets are welcome but please be respectful, clean up after your pet, and let us know if something is damaged. Ok? Ok!

There is ample parking. Six cars can fit in the driveway with more parking in the rear. We can't imagine you would need it, but there is also parking on the street. It is an easy walk to downtown or easy driving distance to everything else.

A new furnace and central air conditioning unit were installed. The basement stays comfortably cool as most basements do.

This house has three floors. The main floor has the kitchen, a living room, a half bath, and a back room with a sectional hide-a-bed. The back room opens out into the back yard. There are two bedrooms and a full bath on the top floor. On the bottom floor, there are two bedrooms, a kids' area under the stairs, a laundry room, and a 3/4 bath. Every Bedroom has a TV mounted with streaming channels available. (Peacock & Disney) The Backroom with Sectional has a large tv with a blueray player and bose sound bar for lounging and relaxing. A Nintendo Switch with a few games to play as well. A freeweight gym (use at own risk) hides in the garage. 2 Mt. bike are available for those itching to get on local trails, or pleasure cruise around town. Two sets of golf clubs are in the garage you can utilize at the Roosevelt City Golf Course. Yard is spacious and has beautfiul roses and delicious blackberries during warmer seasons. Grill and griddle adds great abilities and options to your dinning chocies.

Garage wont have parking capabilities, but a good carport and plenty of drive way makes parking easy. A Weird door in the backroom that leads to the outside is sealed, but don't worry the french doors hiding behind the curtains are not. Don't get soaked! Sprinkler system activates @ 6:00am and waters by section for about an hour’s time.

Located .5 of a mile from the Uintah Rec Center, Utah Field House of National History is within .6 miles. Short 20 min drive to sought after Dinosaur National Monument. The space
Our renovated home is located right in the middle of everything Vernal has to offer!

The Main level of the house has 3 Bedrooms:

Primary Suite has a King bed, on-suite bathroom shower is a seamless walk in. Plenty of space in the walk in closet and dresser if staying an extended time frame. Fan/light combination for your comfort. Pack n Play crib with mattress located in the closet.

Second bedroom also has a King bed with walk in closet and dresser. Fan/light combination.

Third bedroom is the bunk room which has a twin bed over a full bed, with a twin trundle bed (pull out.)

Full hallway bathroom has a bathtub/shower and is very spacious with a double sink vanity.

Bonus room is a few stairs down which was originally a garage. It has been converted into the laundry room, a utilities closet and a spacious bonus area where there is a couch that pulls into a full size bed. There is a door leading into this area that is glass pane but does lock from the inside of the bonus area which could easily be used as a fourth bedroom area. All rooms have a Smart TV and Dish Network Television.

Kitchen is updated with a coffee bar, newer appliances, quartz counter tops and beautiful backsplash. We have done our best to think of everything you could need stocked in the kitchen.

Living room sectional is leather with electric recline. Cozy up on the couch to watch your favorite movie!

Laundry room is available for your use with a few complimentary laundry pods. New Washer and Dryer! Iron, mini ironing board, broom and vacuum are located in this area if needed.

The original hardwood floors through the home give it charm. With that old charm does come a bit of creaking when walking in certain spots of the home. If you think this might bother you please keep that in mind when booking.

Backyard has a little bit of grass, an outdoor table with six chairs and a fire pit. Firewood is not stocked at the house but can be bought at the local gas stations if you would like to use it. 7-11 being the closest, just north of the home if you take 500 East North to HWY 40 you will find it within minutes. A propane BBQ is also located in the backyard.

There are two outside cameras for security purposes located on the east side of the home viewing the driveway and the front door/driveway.

House Rules:
- NO PETS ALLOWED!!! If this rule is broken there will be additional fee of $300)
- No Parties
- No smoking or vaping indoors. Please go outside and dispose of your cigarettes in the garbage can out back if needed.
- No tampering with camera (outside) or internet. Doing so will result in having your stay immediately cancelled with no refund.
- Any missing or damaged property will result in additional fees. We keep an inventory of items and take a video before every check in.
- Please respect the check in (4pm or later) and check out times (11am.) Late check out will be charged $50 for every hour after 11am.
- Please do not deliver any packages or mail to the property as it is NOT set up to receive any mail. This includes Amazon packages as most items go through USPS and they will return your item since our address does not accept mail. We do have a place in town that will receive items it is called Mailbox Express.
- Quiet time is from 10pm to 8am. Please be respectful of neighbors and noise.
