We welcome you to our quiet neighborhood and "Tiny House" living. **Tiny House is a SMALL, simple, clean, ADULTS ONLY space for 2 people. It is semi-attached to the back of the owner's house and is completely separate. It is nicely appointed with all the amenities you might need to make your stay enjoyable as well as relaxing. In the summer time, the patio is the perfect place to have a BBQ and enjoy a glass of wine. Across the street is access to the Crystal River from where many fishing guides depart. If you like to hike, Mushroom Rock is just minutes away. If golf is your game, in 3 minutes you're at beautiful River Valley Ranch Golf course where you can enjoy a round with incredible mountain views. Our apartment is also situated within walking distance to downtown Carbondale - about a 20 min. easy walk- where you can enjoy one of the many diverse restaurants and then catch a movie or a play.

The mission of the Yule Creek Lodge is to provide friends and families a place to gather to enjoy the abundant pleasures of life in the mountains.

Located on 53 acres, mostly bordering National Forest, the lodge has a welcoming feel with the comforts of home. In the winter, the cabin gives easy access to some of the sweetest backcountry and nordic skiing in Colorado, along with with big views and privacy. Skin up to Marble Peak or No Name Peak or head to the quiet nordic trails found in and above the Crystal Valley. Plenty of sledding, snow shoeing and adventure opportunities are found all over the property for hours of fun for everyone.

In the winter the cabin is set up like a mountain hut. That means you bring your bedding to put on top of flannel covered beds. Pillows are provided. *No cleaning or linen fee is charged in the winter.

In the summer months there will be linens provided with an additional fee.

In the summer the opportunities are endless. The Raspberry Ridge trailhead is just steps away from the front door. Without getting in the car you can access pristine trout fishing as well as explore the town of Marble on foot. The Yule Creek Lodge is the perfect base camp to explore the Yule Lakes, Lead King Basin, Anthracite Pass, and many other high alpine adventures.

This off the grid home includes running water, a shower, indoor bathroom, refrigerator, gas cooking stove and fireplace.

The kitchen carries enough pots/pans, cutlery, plates, bowls etc. to cook and serve 10 people.

Be sure to get your provisions before you head to the Lodge as the town of Marble is not reliable for food and drink.

Meek's Hill Cabin in Marble, Colorado is located at an altitude of 8000 feet in the midst of cool, towering pines, with views of 13,000 ft. peaks. Deer frequently wander through the property and bears have even been known to knock on the door. Feisty hummingbirds compete for their share of nectar from the feeder. Nature is literally on your doorstep! Since there is no light pollution in this small community, the starry skies will amaze you! In addition to this, you have all the comforts of a luxury condo. Our cabin is easily accessible but away from trains, planes and highways. Four-wheel drive is not necessary.

Marble, a very small community, is a great central location for exploring the beautiful places of western Colorado. Within a two hour drive you can visit the orchards and vineyards of Paonia, the stunning Black Canyon of the Gunnison River, Colorado National Monument in Grand Junction, the Roaring Fork River valley and Aspen, Independence Pass and the Snowmass Wilderness. Best of all, our own Crystal River Valley.

If you are looking for the perfect place to experience nature at its best, Meek's Hill Cabin IS the perfect place! Sorry, we cannot accommodate dirt bikes or ATV's. We are closed for the hunting season.

This brand new addition is attached to the original schoolhouse for the Town of "Cooperton",-the original town prior to the establishment of Cabrondale- built in 1893 and located in what is now called Satank, a quiet neighborhood in Carbondale. Three comfortable bedrooms are nicely tucked away upstairs. The master bedroom features a queen bed and an en suite bathroom with a private soaking tub. Our basement apartment is located in Carbondale. The apartment has a private entrance and is separate from the rest of the condo. Carbondale is centrally located in the Roaring Fork Valley between Glenwood Springs and Aspen. It is a great location to base your Colorado adventure. Our home is located one block off of Main Street in the Carbondale Creative District a hub of food, drink, art, entertainment and recreation all within walking distance.

The space
The apartment consists of a bedroom with queen bed, a full bath and living room kitchen combo. The condo has a private entrance and is separate from the rest of the condo.

Guest access
The apartment is located in the alley between Main Street and Garfield Avenue. It is part of a condo but has a private entrance. There is one designated parking space. Please park directly in front of the shed behind the condo. Pull up as close as possible to the shed to allow access to the dumpster and recycling cans. There is abundant free street parking in the area.

Other things to note
The apartment is located in a quiet, small condo complex of 8 units. The neighbors are friendly. Noise from Main Street is minimal. We are in Colorado, and are 420 friendly (outdoors only please). An appropriate area is located near the entrance. You can hear noise from the apartment upstairs. If you are a light sleeper, please bring earplugs or don't book.

Cain's Cozy Mountain Retreat is garden level with beautiful landscaping and mountain vistas. We are seven miles north of Carbondale and thirty miles west of the Aspen-Snowmass ski area. We are near bike and walking trails with world class fishing and of course our famous Hot Springs. There's something for everyone to enjoy.
We are an adults only facility and do not allow pets.

The area is a peaceful retreat with abundant wildlife and a restful garden for relaxing. The basement apartment has a separate bedroom, full kitchen with dining area, a separate dining area, and a three piece bath with walk in shower.

We are located on a private Mesa 4 miles from town. We are an hour from Aspen, 25 minutes from Glenwood Springs to the west and Basalt to the East. Our Mesa has 7 homes each is 6 to 15 acres We have no street lights or traffic noise and at night you see Stars by the thousands. We have pets on site and are pet friendly (little dogs big attitude lololo). If you need a larger room please go to our Prince Creek Master Listing . We also have a handicap bathroom separate from your room if needed.

The room is located on the complete opposite side of the house that we sleep in. There is a sliding glass door entry through the back so you can enter and leave privately. Your private bathroom is state of the art and we have included heated floors. The majority of the home is wood floors with grab rails to the sunken living room down two steps. The living are is open and spacious.

Our road is not paved, there are no street lights or noises. It’s tranquil and quiet oh yes then there are the dogs lololol.

The day before your arrival I will send detailed entry directions. You will definitely need 4 wheel drive, studded tires or all wheel drive most of the winter. The road is maintained and plowed but usually that doesn’t matter.

We are on the road for the trail head to Mt Sopris with many hikes in between. A new mountain biking trail has just been added along Prince Creek with parking at the bottom of our road. We also have a huge fire pit in the back yard but usage usage is seasonal. A 26ft watch tower in there for even more incredible views! If you shoot bow and arrows we have that too. Sadly we have eliminated our hot tub usage due to continuous damage from guests (ie broken lid straps, broken lock straps, lid left off all night, debris, main panel board broken to name a few). The good news is there are hots springs within a short drive from here.

If you are looking for a quiet adventurous getaway, your in the right place. We are blessed and don’t mind sharing.

Guest access
Our guests have access to the kitchen including stove, microwave and most other appliances. You do have a small refrigerator in the your room. The dining area and kitchen seating is also available but please be respectful to our usage as well. The back fenced yard has an electric top wire generating a 5000 volt kick. This will usually keep most predators out of our yard for pet safety. The predators you may see are usually coyotes, eagles, and some cats; no bears.

We do offer coffee usually around 7 in the morning. (FYI Todd's coffee is legendary)!

Once inside our home we are handicap friendly, hardwood floors and one level from room to bathroom, dinning area and kitchen. The outside entrance to the room is on the left side of the front porch, through the gate and first sliding door on the right. We have a wooden ramp for wheel chair access through the slider. But, parking is gravel so rolling. Wheels be careful.

There is no bus from our residence into town, it’s a 4 mile trece. You can usually get an Uber, Taxi or Lyft and the wait depends on the demand. Once in town the bus system is amazing from here to Aspen to Glenwood Springs and everything in between.

You will have access and entry directions the day before your arrival. When driving up our road please go only 15 miles per hr. as there can be dogs and horses on the dirt road.

We are available for any questions as well as tips for dining, recreation Etc. We also have maps available in the room with other info about the area. Our little doggies love to interact as well with about two minutes of painful barking lololo but they love people and will calm down. You will also be provided a phone number where I can be reached at all times. All Emergency instructions are in the room. We love conversation if you do and also respect your privacy.

We are located between Glenwood Springs and Aspen, on a private Mesa (called Stark Mesa) and are 4 miles from the SLEEP TOWN OF town of Carbondale.
We have handicap access and are also pet with a $25 fee. Wee have pets as well so please let us introduce your pets when we are there.

Our elevation is 7600 feet (in town is 6300). There is a 26 foot watch tower in the back for even more amazing views. We also have horses on site down in the pastures. There are no street lights so at night our Mesa is very dark until the moon comes out but your guaranteed too see LOTS of stars on cloudless nights. We have two ponds in the back yard not fenced so Please watch your pets.
If you like to shoot bow and arrows so do we and they are available. Also, this is a bikers paradise with trails everywhere! If you need two rooms please contact us for availability.

The spacious 525 sq. ft. non-smoking, pet-free (except for the dogs that live at the house) apartment over the garage has a private entrance, not accessible from inside my house. It accommodates a maximum of 3 adults and is well lit from large windows on three sides. A custom room divider, permanently suspended, separates the bedroom from the other spaces (see photos). The living room futon converts to a full size bed to accommodate up to 1 extra adult or child.

The apartment has a new bathroom with a large walk-in tiled shower. It includes shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, hair dryer, and plenty of towels. There is a fully equipped kitchen, with a 2-burner cooktop, sink, refrigerator, microwave, electric tea kettle, toaster, and a compact smart oven. Our private mountain suite is situated in the foothills of Carbondale just minutes from downtown and close to world class skiing, mountain biking and hiking. The two-bedroom unit is is perfect for couples, families, or business travelers. The space
Relax in the mountains in our garden oasis with beautiful mountain views. Our 1500 SQFT space features a living room with a comfy sectional, Cable and Apple TV. The open floor plan connects to the office, kitchenette, and dining area. The kitchenette consists of a refrigerator, hot plate, tea kettle, french press, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and dishes. The washer and dryer are situated in the hallway next to the bathroom and you are welcome to use them. You'll feel right at home after a long day exploring the roaring fork valley.

The space
As you enter the grounds through our custom built entryway made from 100 year old telephone poles you will notice our cows contentedly grazing on the luscious green grass. Meandering down the drive reveals the barn from the original homestead (over a century old) and spectacular views of Mt. Sopris, Maroon Bells, Capitol Peak, Snowmass Mountain...honestly, we have all the mountains.

After stopping to stare at said mountains, because you have to stop and stare, you come upon your cabin. The perfect cabin. Cozy and warm during winter and bright and airy during summer. It brings a sense of comfort that only a long history of love can. Remodeled in warm woods and white paint with accents of turquoise gives your cabin that modern rustic vibe that pairs perfectly with the pastoral scenery.

Whether you choose to sit on your private patio and enjoy the sweet mountain air with views of Basalt Mountain or if you choose to ascend to the loft and take a nap with the scent of lilacs beckoning you to sweet slumber know that there is no wrong choice.

Your cabin is situated perfectly between Aspen and Glenwood so you have access to four of the best skiing mountains in Colorado, the worlds largest hot springs, adventure caverns, white water rafting, vapor caves, Aspens exclusive shops, boutiques, and fine dinning, a plethora of hiking options, paragliding, paddle boarding, areal tours, horseback riding, historic Redstone castle, rock climbing, biking trails, highway 133 scenic byway, Independence Pass byway, Glenwood Canyon, Hanging Lake, local art shops, Snowmass and Carbondale rodeos, a cannabis shop on every corner and the list goes on.

People come for the location but they return because the Native Americans placed a curse on the valley that whoever sleeps under Mt. Sopris must come back. The only known cure for this curse is to bring a jar of dirt back with you:) (earth provided but not the jar).

Other things to note
The cabin is close to the main house (about 20 feet) but it is situated so that all the windows and doors are facing outward so everyone still has as much privacy as possible. And it’s about 30 feet from the barn:). We also have sheds, animal structures, RVs, quads, snowmobile, and ranch equipment about the property being used. It’s nothing fancy and you’ll be in the middle of it because on a ranch this size everywhere is the middle lol

We have a strict no pets policy for the cabin and it is nonnegotiable. We’ve had dogs get kicked by our horses, kill chickens, chase cows and cats etc. We have a lot of prey animals that activate the hunting instinct in dogs. Even well trained dogs have succumbed to the temptations of the ranch. We do not want our animals or yours to be put in harms way.

The flight of stairs to the loft bedroom are not conducive to the elderly, physically impaired, or pregnant. There are 7 steps, 13 inches high, 10 inches deep, and 28 inches wide.

There is a $20 charging fee for electric cars.

The roads to get to the cabin are paved back roads but they have been daunting for some people. This may be because there are no street lights.

We have dogs on the property but they spend most of their time in a fenced dog run or in the house. We have one livestock guardian dog that lives in the pastures with the animals full time:)

We also have three outside cats and they like to hangout around the cabin now because they know that they might get pets lol. Please do not let them in the cabin because they shed a lot of hair and they are not house trained:)

There is also a fluctuating number of other animals as well. From goats to ducks and everything in between but it always seems to be changing so you never know what new beastie will show up next. Wild or domestic:) (no horses on the ranch at the moment)

You are more than welcome to walk around and look at the animals but please don’t go on the main house lawn. We ask that you don’t open any of the gates or go into the pastures or buildings without one of us with you for yours and the animals safety. We also ask that you please don’t feed the animals without permission because some of them have dietary restrictions but they are often allowed some treats so please just ask:)

We do live in a more rural area so there is not much choice for internet. We have the fastest package we can get but you wont be able to Facetime or Zoom. Streaming can also be hard and sometimes the internet crashes completely. This is usually because of the weather, high winds, or low lying clouds blocking our dish from the satellite. While the WiFi works most of the time if our dish can't connect to the satellite then it fails so we can't make guarantees but please let us know and we will try to reboot the router just in case:) Our WiFi is linked to your WiFi so if it stops working for you it probably stopped working for us. We may not receive or respond to your messages if the WiFi goes down because the messages won’t go through and there's little to no cell service but please try anyway and know that if that happens we will be trying to get the WiFi to work because we like internet just as much as you:)!

There's little to no cell service up here. You might be able to find a bar some places outside but thats about it and there’s no tv in the cabin.

Also, this is an active family run ranch (6 acres) (not a dude ranch, so we don't provide any activities, sorry) and we are always up to some sort of improvements:) wether it be fixing fences, tilling pastures, remodeling one of our out buildings etc. We are always trying to upgrade our property which means that there can be equipment running and workers coming to tend to the property:)!

There is no smoking in the cabin but you can smoke outside.

There is one designated parking space but if we are forewarned we will try and accommodate more space:)!

The space
We are a family with young kids, so you will hear us above. We are done with dinner and off to bed around 7pm and we work to keep quiet from 7pm-7am.
The unit is the spacious, light-filled basement of our single family home, with it's own private entrance through our garage. The space includes interior stairs, large main room with with two twin mattresses, TV, a full bathroom with shower and tub and a private bedroom with a queen sized bed and closet. The main room has a microwave and mini-fridge, coffee maker, tea kettle, dishes, cutting board, and a dining area.

Other things to note
PARKING: It is very important to us to respect our neighbors and the safe flow of our tight street. The city does not allow parking on our side of the street and the small driveway is for our vehicle. You can park along the OPPOSITE side of the street. Additional parking is available all along 8th street if our cul de sac is full. 8th street is only a few houses down so its a very short walk. Thank you for your cooperation!

Our unit in Carbondale located on 150 acres of our families private working ranch located on the east side of Carbondale.
The guest suite has a private entrance with excellent views and is only a 10 minute walk to downtown Carbondale. The space is comfortable for up to 3 adults or a family of 4. Plenty of sunshine and room to relax after a day of skiing, fishing or hiking! Please be aware that we are on a gravel dirt road. No need for a 4 wheel drive vehicle but can be wet.

While the backyard is a somewhat shared space, it is very large (at least 2000 sqft and this does not include any of the surrounding pastures,) we tend to not use it while we have guests. We may need to access the animals that are housed around the back of the house but because the backyard is so large this generally does not interfere with any guest use of the backyard or the patio.

Guest access
Once in Carbondale take Main St. all the way to 1st street. Turn right go approximately 400 yards 101 road is on the left and goes up a hill. At the top of the hill is the church. Go past the church you are now on a dirt road. Come around the corner past the hay yard and go 300 yards. You will see our driveway on the right off of 101 road. 757 will be posted on the post at the entrance to our driveway there is a large trash can at the gate. Follow the dirt road until you cross over the metal grate. The parking will be to the right of the house just past the metal barn on your right and it is marked with a sign and is front of a flagstone patio. Once parked you will walk along the flagstone walkway to the back of the house where you will find the sliding door. The pathway and back patio are lit with motion activated solar lights so there is no need to leave the outdoor lights on when you leave. The entrance is on the back of the house through the sliding glass door it will be left unlocked for you.

Other things to note
Our property is on a county road that is maintained and plowed in the winter. The city plows the road in the winter to allow access to a cemetery that is on the mesa adjacent to our property. 2 wheel drive access is fine but the road can be snow packed in the winter. Additionally in the winter there will be cows in the field and sometimes on the road. They will move for the cars you just might have to navigate slowly through them.

Because of the cattle and other livestock we have on-site we do not allow pets. Please contact us directly if you have service animals. A $250 fine will be enforced for un-authorized pets

There is no smoking allowed on the property. A $300 fine will be enforced

Please be sure to turn off all the lights, close the windows and lower the heat when you leave the unit.

While we do have WiFi is not extremely fast. We do not have broadband or cable available to our area at this time. There are several coffee spots in Carbondale and the library if hi-speed internet is essential.

Guests are welcome to use the backyard.
