The Artists' Cottage on the corner of Eight and Euclid was completed in December of 2015 and has over 600 square feet of bright south facing living that accommodates two to three guests (additional nightly charge for 3rd guest). The cottage is a free-standing building separate from the owners’ house and has its own parking, entrance, flagstone patio, small yard and view of Mt Sopris. With a vaulted ceiling, gas fireplace and bamboo floors the cottage is a warm contemporary space to spend a few days or a few weeks. A separate bedroom with a queen bed, blackout blinds and high thread count linens guarantee a great night’s sleep. A hotel style twin size roll-away bed is available to be set up in the living room for a third guest. The bath has a walk/wheel in shower and a separate room with commode and washer/dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas convection range, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, toaster and both a multi-cup and single serve coffee makers and all the utensils and serve ware needed to prepare and serve meals. There is an attached storage area for skis and other sporting equipment. Cable TV and free WiFi allow guests to stay connected. - "My husband and our Australian Shepherd pup had a wonderful four-night stay while visiting family in the area. We loved the location, which is walkable to the charming Carbondale downtown area. Deer greeted us outside our front door in the quiet of the early morning. The shower was great (good water pressure, hot water), and the bed was comfortable. The AC worked well, extra window unit for daytime heat. For those who like to read detailed reviews about specifics: they had two coffee pots (in case you aren’t a fan of Keurig-type coffee pots.) They even had a washer and dryer with good quality (no scent) detergent. You can tell they put incredible thought and hosting wisdom into this space. It is beautifully designed & adorned. One day, we just rested indoors (we had quite a long road trip), and the art on the walls is a beautiful scene in and of itself. We had plenty of privacy and were surprised how quiet the neighborhood was (even with some construction across the street, windows closed cancel the sound well). Do not hesitate to book this place. Host communication was excellent and quick.

We welcome you to our quiet neighborhood and "Tiny House" living. **Tiny House is a SMALL, simple, clean, ADULTS ONLY space for 2 people. It is semi-attached to the back of the owner's house and is completely separate. It is nicely appointed with all the amenities you might need to make your stay enjoyable as well as relaxing. In the summer time, the patio is the perfect place to have a BBQ and enjoy a glass of wine. Across the street is access to the Crystal River from where many fishing guides depart. If you like to hike, Mushroom Rock is just minutes away. If golf is your game, in 3 minutes you're at beautiful River Valley Ranch Golf course where you can enjoy a round with incredible mountain views. Our apartment is also situated within walking distance to downtown Carbondale - about a 20 min. easy walk- where you can enjoy one of the many diverse restaurants and then catch a movie or a play.

Located on 53 acres, mostly bordering National Forest, the lodge has a welcoming feel with the comforts of home. In the winter, the cabin gives easy access to some of the sweetest backcountry and nordic skiing in Colorado, along with with big views and privacy. Skin up to Marble Peak or No Name Peak or head to the quiet nordic trails found in and above the Crystal Valley. Plenty of sledding, snow shoeing and adventure opportunities are found all over the property for hours of fun for everyone.

In the winter the cabin is set up like a mountain hut. That means you bring your bedding to put on top of flannel covered beds. Pillows are provided. *No cleaning or linen fee is charged in the winter.

In the summer months there will be linens provided with an additional fee.

In the summer the opportunities are endless. The Raspberry Ridge trailhead is just steps away from the front door. Without getting in the car you can access pristine trout fishing as well as explore the town of Marble on foot. The Yule Creek Lodge is the perfect base camp to explore the Yule Lakes, Lead King Basin, Anthracite Pass, and many other high alpine adventures.

The Ranger ride to the ruins of the Crystal Mill was so much fun and of course you can’t explain the beauty- pictures do not do it justice. Our previous stay was inaccessible due to weather, but we found this home and it was perfect. The space is amazing and the location is beautiful. Lots of sledding hills, snowshoe trails, and places to play in the snow. Loved our stay!"
