Welcome to this comfortable family friendly home in Green River. This terrific property boasts 3 bedrooms - 1 king bed, 2 queen beds. With 2 bathrooms equipped with a hairdryer and bathtub, guests can relax in style. The living room offers additional space with a comfy sofa bed for extra sleeping arrangements. Make your holiday one for the books with a stay at our place. Located off main street you are within walking distance to restaurants and grocery store. While here enjoy golf, river rafting, hiking, biking, dirt bike riding, fishing or hunting. We have plenty of parking for your trailers.

We are continuing to keep our home empty for at least 48-56 hours in between guests. This reduces the risk to our housekeeper and our guests giving time to viruses to lose their virulence. Canyonlands airport (Moab) is 30 minutes from our home. Fly in to Salt Lake city or Denver then a connecting flight to Canyonlands airport. You can rent a car from the Moab airport. Enjoy the quaintness of the airport and enjoy the no fuss, no hassle travel. Easy to rent the car and drop it off.

This cozy home is right in the middle of all the action. Moab, Goblin Valley, Lake Powell, San Rafael Swell are all very close by. Not only that, but Green River offers some of the best activities like river rafting, hiking, mountain biking, four wheeling, and amazing scenic views. The house is equipped with wifi and about 30 local TV channels. No cable at this time. The kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher, stove, oven, fridge, toaster and cooking ware. The house is equipped with a new AC unit. There is 2 queen size beds, 2 twin beds, and a pullout couch as well. There is a bbq and patio in the back. The yard is currently just dirt with weeds here and there. The house faces the west so you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Neighbors are super friendly. Awesome suburban neighborhood right off of the main street of Green River.

We saw Capitol Reef, Arches, Goblin Valley, and Canyonlands, we hiked Little Wild Horse slot canyon and hiked to Delicate Arch. Green River is central to all the places we went. No bikes or climbing this time, but still fun. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the AC worked great. The neighborhood is quiet, the house is on a cul-de-sac, the backyard goes out to a field, so it seems like staying at a country retreat, so we preferred that to staying in Moab."

- "It was great. We went to several day trips jn all directions and it was a great midway place. Comfortable and clean. Fast internet and fun video games. I had contacted the host of the property via Vrbo messenger and didn’t get a response. Then on the last day we found a paper with more instructions and a phone number. So if I had found that earlier I might’ve had better communication. It had almost everything we needed in the kitchen. I know you can never be sure what kind of dishes etc the place will have but I did wish there was a muffin tin. There was an empty bag of washing machine pods so it was good I brought my own. But otherwise it was great. Totally would come stay again."

Green River was recently recognized as the best small town in Utah and we have to agree! Part of our property is farmed for watermelons in the summer and don’t pass up stopping at one of the melon stands in town. You’ll see why this amazing little town is famous for its Melon Days festival every year. It has its own treasures such as Crystal Geyser, Blue Castle and the John Wesley Powell museum—but is also central to countless both famous and lesser known desert wonders. We definitely recommend hitting up the street tacos and grabbing a giant cinnamon roll at the Tamarisk restaurant. But you can get groceries and other items you might need just 5 minutes away in town. Interstate 70 is very easy to access and day trips to the parks and local public lands are a must. We’ll make you a list of our favorite areas, but no doubt you’ll find your own as well!
Please note that this is a brand new home and we have several projects in the works including an additional patio, landscaping, grass, fencing and river clearing for water sports. We’re excited to see our vision come to life over the next year or two and hope you’ll come back and enjoy it again!

This is an older 1970s modular home. It is comfortable and has all the amenities needed for a family, group or couple exploring the area. The kitchen has updated appliances with a gas stove/oven, fridge w freezer (and ice maker) and a table with seating for four (no dishwasher). As the description eludes to, this is a former grandmother residence. I have had some complaints saying it looks like someone’s grandmas place and I am being transparent in saying, yes it is : ) . If you are looking for a Hilton, this is not it. It has a swamp cooler for AC in the summer and heat for the spring and fall months. There are two bedrooms. First bedroom has a full bed with a small half bath (just a toilet and sink) and a back bedroom with a queen bed. The main bathroom has a shower (no tub) that was updated with a bench and safety bars. The last sleeping accommodations are in the living room where the couch pulls out into a bed. Keep in mind pull out beds are what they are and not considered luxury sleeping accommodations. I have been told by most the beds are comfortable and by some others they did not like them. Beds seem to be a personal experience. The front bedroom bed would be considered More soft and the back bed more firm.
There are vintage dishes and silverware that some are purposely mismatched to bring an eclectic atmosphere to the house. The Style and ambiance of the home is 60/70’s and I have hand selected some of the furniture for this exact purpose. Again, If you are looking for something modern or updated , this probably isn’t your place. If the old style is off-putting to you, no problem, but please don’t book here and then complain about the “old” decor/setting.
The house is deep cleaned and sanitized between each guest. The carpets are cleaned every spring. There are large closets with ample room and a chest of drawers in each room. There are plenty of towels, cooking pans/pots, etc.
The outdoor space includes a carport to park under, a long drive way and even a big back lot if you need more room for cars, trailer, boat etc. The yard is zero scaped due to the climate, but you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee on the patio or roast marshmallows in the small fire pit.
We would love to host you at our house, but again, please note the pictures and date of the house and consider that when booking. This is one of the cheapest options for a house in Green River. If you want to have a comfy bed, AC/ heat and an ample kitchen to cook meals in while exploring, this is your place! An added bonus for some, is the house is wheelchair accessible with a ramp to the front and back door and a widened entrance for the main bathroom and back bedroom.
