Commons Area Lounge is centrally located between all 5 of our cabins and has WIFI, AC Power, Full Kitchen, dry food storage, dining/lounging spaces, local info, extra blankets/games/books. BBQ is around the corner and is also shared among all the guests.

The bathroom requires a short, slightly steep 1-minute walk to an enclosed outdoor bathroom.

Solar shower facility is available and depends largely on the weather conditions. It is outdoors, which means that THE SHOWER HEATS UP FROM THE SUN. You must be flexible as the sunshine and the weather dictate your ability to take a hot shower (we understand that it's not for everyone, but it's one of the minor concessions that we endure while getting to live here.)

Being in the mountains, we share the space with beautiful wild animals such as deer, elk, and bear. Bugs, flies and the occasional mouse might drop by to say hello too. We do our absolute best to make sure you won't see them. However, If even the prospect of the sight or sound of the occasional bug or mouse puts a burr under your saddle, we kindly suggest that you book a chain hotel in the big city of Missoula.

Basically, this isn't your standard Holiday Inn chain hotel experience, in this space and on this property you'll be reminded of the simplicity of life, the stillness of nature and the pureness of your routine being dictated by the sun.

This cozy 2-bedroom cabin is located off the pristine Lewis and Clark Trail (US HWY 12 W). There is multiple access points for the Lolo National Forest for hikes and ATV fun! There are lakes and lookout towers, hot springs and trails closeby.

The 2013 Forest Fires impacted the mountains around it for a short distance. There are still beautiful mountain views. You are able to see the affects fires and the environmental impact. Much of Lolo Peak, Lolo Creek and close mountains were untouched by the fire, grazing elk, deer and moose. Outstanding ATV access, hunting, fishing, snow shoeing, snow mobiling, ,skiing, hiking, biking, soak or swim at nearby hot springs. The night stars are gorgeous from the hot tub during clear nights.

You may also enjoy Missoula's many coffee houses, breweries, distilleries and restaurants or seasonal activities that are yours within a short driving distance. You will enjoy a memorable stay in this charming cabin.

This area is outstanding for outdoor activities as well as activities in the city of Missoula or a drive down the Bitterroot. The cabin is quite nice with a nice living room area which includes satellite tv and wifi, 2 bedrooms with queen log beds, a nice kitchen and a quiet outdoor deck. A great place to come and relax and venture toward the plethora of sights to see, fish or hunt.

Perched along Ninemile Creek on 20 wooded acres with majestic views, this completely renovated and cozy two bedroom, two bath water front cabin is the ultimate relaxing Montana vacation that is great for couples, small families or a friends get-a-way.
Take the spiral-staircase to the second floor master suite which boasts a comfortable cloud-like king size mattress, large walk-in closet, full size bathroom with dual vanity and a two-person shower. Private deck, lounge chairs and shade. Throw open the windows and let the babbling waters lull you to sleep.
The guest bedroom (located on the main floor) has a queen-size bed, pillow top mattress, down comforter and feather pillows. Guests will use the charming main floor bath featuring natural slate tile floors, shower/tub combo, pedestal sink and fluffy towels. Each of the cabin bathrooms has a hair dryer, hand soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner.
Hardwood flooring is laid throughout the main floor. The living area is tastefully decorated with rustic cabin décor where you can lounge on the comfortable leather sofa while relaxing in front of the wood burning fireplace. If you require digital entertainment, each bedroom and the living room are equipped with a TV and satellite receiver. DVD/Blu-ray in Living room. Bose speaker for iPod or other music player. WIFI is available, but cell phones don't generally work out here. Landline available for local and emergency calls, but calling card is needed for long distance.
The kitchen features granite countertops with center island, all new appliances including: refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, gas range/oven and hickory cabinets. This kitchen is fully loaded with pots, pans, plates and utensils; as well as, coffee maker, toaster, mixer, blender and electric griddle. The indoor dining room seats 6 comfortably.
Outside, there are 3 decks for dining, entertaining, soaking up sun and wildlife viewing. The oversized main deck offers a gas grill, a covered portion for outdoor dining (protected from snow and rain) with an additional seating area great for entertaining. The creek is accessible from the wooden staircase which leads to the sun deck complete with lounge chairs.
In 2018, we added a bunkhouse that can house up to 6 additional people, advertised pricing is only for the main cabin which sleeps 4. If you need accommodations for a larger party please let us know in your inquiry.
You will enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the cabin whether you are fishing, hiking, reading or just relaxing. Wildlife abounds in this area. You can see everything from deer and elk, to foxes and rock chucks and possibly bear and beavers. The waters of Ninemile Creek are home to fish, crawfish, ducks, geese, frogs and more.

- "As a U of M alumni, my college roommate and our spouses decided to meet up outside of Missoula to celebrate 40 years of friendship. The stay at the house was perfect for the 4 of us and our dogs. We spent 90% of our time on the wonderful deck. The dogs played in the creek and ran around on the lawn space. We have used VRBO a lot over the past years and this property was by far the best stocked. If you like to cook, there isn't anything you will be missing at this home! The AC units worked fantastically in the 90+ heat and sleeping in both bedrooms was terrific. They even have a separate deep freezer outside for ice and items that won't fit in the inside freezer. Really nice to have! Perfect location and perfect stay. Our host was very available with questions right up to arrival. We had no reason to contact her once we arrived as her instructions were very well done. One thing to note-the road starting about 2 miles from the house is narrow so if you aren't used to MT mountain roads, you should be aware. Definitely passable with a car but we were both happy we had trucks/SUVs. In the winter, I think 4 wheel drive would be a must. But that is what you would expect to get a place that is extremely peaceful and quiet up in the mountains."

Nestled in a quiet location on 8 acres just off the valley floor we are not far from "Where Montana Began". Spend your days exploring all that western Montana has to offer then return to the peacefulness on our property to get refreshed for your next day's adventure.

Within minutes is the world-class trout fishing Bitterroot River, where you can fly fish from the public fishing access, launch your floating device or take a swim in the summer. Nearby are several hiking trails as is the 50 mile long Bitterroot Bike Trail. The area is rich with Native American, pioneer and Lewis & Clark history. Many local museums and state parks will guide you on your quest to learn more. We are 10 minutes from the 2800 acre Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge. Recreational opportunities are plentiful including hiking, walking, fishing, swimming, hunting, horseback riding, photography, astronomy, birding, skateboarding, biking, and much more! Wildlife viewing is all around and in summer you might even be lucky enough to watch a fawn or two nibbling on the grass outside the front door. The skies at night are spectacular and the sunsets are out of this world!

Our little house is comfortable and stylishly decorated. We offer you two bedrooms each with queen sized beds. The bathroom is just right with a large seated shower. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready for you to enjoy your own home cooking. Dine at the breakfast bar while viewing the sunrise blazing across mountains as you plan your travels for the day. In the evening you can watch the sunset happen right in front of you. You'll find everything you need to help make your stay relaxing and comfortable. The living space has a reclining love seat, two leather club chairs, a 32" TV with local channels and a DVD player. You can plug your laptop into the TV, too, to watch Netflix or Prime. This unique Montana little dream house has all the comforts you will need. It is a re-purposed mini house. The kitchen and bathroom counter tops are made of blued pine and trimmed with corrugated metal. The exterior is also trimmed with re-purposed corrugated metal and landscaped with railroad ties. This little gem with its outdoor shower and charm will enhance your summer getaway for great memories.

The unit reeks of a true Montana experience with the indoor smell of the knotty pine woods. The outdoor shower is one of a kind and highly recommended. (You wouldn't know that the toilet was a compost.) The kitchen area has a small refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee machine with counter and log stools. There is a grill for outdoor additional cooking and a fire pit that may be used unless the fire danger in the area is too high.

There is also a hot tub that is available for a short walk down the drive. It is also available to another rental on the property (The Whispering Moose) but most renters are out enjoying the area so there is always plenty of opportunity to have your own personal time in it. At night the stars are magnificent.

There is wifi and television available. No landline telephone is available so texting or face time through wifi are the way to communicate in this rental.

This rental will provide you with a unique relaxing time that you will be able to create memories to share with each other and your friends and remember for years.

The area is rather quiet other than an occasional lawn mower keeping the grasses short which protected this property from being destroyed during a fire 6 years ago. It is common to see deer, turkeys, birds of all kinds, elk, moose or bear.

This is close to Missoula with the opportunity to experience the mountains of Montana in an up close and personal way.

This one-bedroom cabin is cozy and peaceful…perfect for a couple looking to get some much-needed down time, or for anyone wanting to relax and enjoy mother nature. The bedroom includes a comfy queen-sized bed, a handsome leather couch, small coffee table, end tables, desk and chair, and a hearty dresser. Barn door separates the stone-tiled shower from the toilet. Complimentary eco-conscious toiletries are included.
The kitchen is its own “room” complete with stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, Caraway cookware/bakeware, quality cutlery, handcrafted u-shaped bar countertops and much more!
There are views from every window with a wrap-around deck to enjoy everything in sight. A new Weber grill and a picnic table invite you to cook and eat outside while listening to the variety of birds this area has to offer. We also have chairs and a fire pit under our locally built pergola so that you can relax under the stars at night.
Feel free to explore the immediate areas behind the cabin along the seasonal flowing creek, bird watch, or read a book. Throughout the spring and summer, you'll enjoy the variety of plant life surrounding the cabin. Speaking of plant life, the professionally landscaped area was designed specifically to included native plants, bee and butterfly friendly flowers, and aromatic lavender. Even though we are 4.5 miles from the main thoroughfare, it feels like you’re out in the country! Some of the wild animals that have crossed this property are deer, fox, coyotes, and turkeys. The occasional bear, mountain lion, elk and moose sightings have occurred.

There are many hiking and biking trails nearby or enjoy a day paddleboarding, floating or fishing the Bitterroot River! We are just 8 miles from Lolo, the gateway to the Bitterroot Valley, and about 45 minutes away from Lolo Hot Springs.

Please note the owners live in a permanent residence that is shared with the property the cabin sits on. This is a privately gated, semi fenced-in property consisting of 5 acres. Aside from an optional and quick walk-through or a question that needs to be answered, we’ll let you be! You’ll probably see us working on the property or catch a glimpse of our kids, dogs and cats running around (in addition to the neighbor’s kids and dogs!).

The A-Frame is a Rustic cabin with a full kitchen. Water is packed in from the well in 5 gallon blue containers. There is two double beds ( sheets and blankets ) a wood stove ( wood provided ). There is a wood fired SAUNA next to the cabin and an organic shower house and outhouse with heat and lights. The deck has a barbque and sits next to a small trout stream. Blue Ribbon fishing is only minutes away. There is also a large shower house very close by.

I do not get any information about the bookings on the weekends because our cabins are off the grid.

This 500 sq ft bunkhouse offers breathtaking views of the meadows, hay fields and Bitterroot Mountains. The Ranch borders Lolo National Forest and is close to the Clark Fork River. Sit back in the evenings and enjoy the sights and sounds of our working Ranch. Cozy up to the large fire pit (firewood provided if allowed by smokey the bear) and soak in the serenity of a skyscape with no light pollution, rugged mountains and wildlife while smelling the fragrant pines. The newly renovated Bunkhouse has been designed with an appreciation of modern luxuries and the history of our Century old sheep and cattle Ranching families. On the Ranch and in the Bunkhouse you will enjoy the many treasures this ranching history has to enjoy. From the Ranching and Farming implements and tools, to the furniture and over 150 year old Barnwood and Hand Hewn beams used in the Bunkhouse, the visually rich Agriculture history will intrigue you.
The Bunkhouse offers a luxuriously appointed Queen bed, walk-in closet with storage room, a large twin bed for an additional a guest, board games, and a flatscreen smart TV.
With the serenity and privacy that our Ranch offers comes an improved gravel driveway through the Ranch's hay fields. The driveway is kept plowed during the winter months so has excellent access year around. Parking is covered and attached to the Bunkhouse. The private, spacious, outdoor living and dining space is covered and also attached to the Bunkhouse for a comfortable, relaxing time enjoying a cup of coffee, a glass of wine or grilling up some locally grown steaks. The Bunkhouse is equipped with everything you may need to make your stay a wonderful, relaxing vacation.
Please let us know if you have any special requests during your stay and we will be happy to accommodate! Ask about side by side tours of the Ranch and trails. There is plenty of additional space for an RV or horse trailer parking. Horse corrals, stalls and pasture grazing are also available for rent at an extra fee.
With unlimited hiking, hunting, floating, fishing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking and four wheeling; ample adventure opportunities are on the Ranch and close by! Located 35 minutes west of Missoula(28 miles of Interstate driving) easy access to Interstate 90 will get you to your favorite brewery, restaurant, or local attraction in no time. The Missoula International airport is only a 35 minute drive away.

This home features two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and 916 square feet of living space with lovely bay windows overlooking the Blackfoot River and plenty of natural light.

For the thrill-seeking folks out there looking for fun adventures, Thibbodeau Falls, the Blackfoot's best-known rapids, is just around the corner. The rivers in Missoula can be enjoyed in a variety of ways! You will have a blast playing in these waters whether you enjoy river surfing, fly fishing, or tube floating. After an adrenaline-filled day, end the day by grabbing a couple of locally brewed beers at the famous KettleHouse Brewing Co. which is just 5 minutes away. Right beside is the KettleHouse Amphitheater which holds numerous concerts. This is the perfect combination!

Unplug, locate a peaceful getaway, and take advantage of Bonner's well-known outdoor activities!

The home is waterfront, and waterfront properties can attract mosquitoes if doors are left open and lights are left on.

- "Great location right on the river within a couple miles of Kettlehouse Bonner. It is a very peaceful place to enjoy the sound of the river and the scenery. House is very comfortable. A grill would be a nice addition." - "We are from Texas and have friends in Canada. We met for a great vacation and the cabin was perfect for us. Two bedrooms and two baths. Each bedroom has an in suite bath so nice privacy for each couple. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and we cooked and had plenty of utensils for everything we did from spaghetti to shrimp scampi. There is no BBQ grill and we had to have hamburgers on the grill so we brought a small grill and used it. Also the cabin has no A/C but we brought a fan and slept sound and comfortably cool. The river is so soothing to sit and listen to and we opened the window at night and listened to the river. No need for our Alexa and “thunderstorm sounds” that we usually sleep with!!! Josh and Amy were very prompt and professional and they both were very helpful with questions about fishing licenses, etc. In all I would 150% recommend this cabin for a really relaxing spot for a family or friends like us that just enjoyed being together. Oh yea, our husbands found a golf course with 10 minutes and so “us girls” had a fabulous wine and cheese vacation by the river😂😂😂"
