This is a must-do adventure while you are here. Fully guided adventure takes you on a scenic excursion to the Idaho back country on an easy 2.5-mile hike (out and back) where we will cross the Lachsa river walking bridge, soak it up and relax in the natural hot springs, then on to the ancient cedar grove where you will see amazing cedars with some over 3,000 years old. On the way back we will stop at Western Montana’s historic Jacks Saloon for a late lunch and beverage of your choice (not included in price). This log cabin was custom built for my family and for generations to come. You will enjoy this home as the perfect vacation hideaway nestled in the mountains with a view of Lolo Creek and Lolo Peak while still being close to modern day accoutrements.

The space
This log home sits on 48 acres of land that is mostly mountain terrain, trees, and a few horses. The log home is adjacent and close to the main house where I and my husband live, but completely separate. The property is just off of Highway 12 so you can easily access nearby towns, bars, and local attractions. Lots of hiking trails to explore nearby. There's a hiking trail at the back of the property and you're welcome to explore.
There is a glass propane stove which keeps the space very comfortable during the cold season. There's also a portable electric heater upstairs.

Guest access
The entire log home is available to you. It's well furnished with a queen size bed, a futon, and a couch. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, etc. and has a big refrigerator.
Have extra linens, towels, pillows, blankets, etc.

Other things to note
In order to access the home, you will need to exit off Highway 12, - 8 miles from town of Lolo. The house number is on the mailbox ( right hand side). Open the gate (by hand) wrap around chain - no lock. Then drive through the gate. Please close the gate (to keep the horses from escaping!) and drive up a very short trail past the horse shed. Park in front of the cabin.

Pet friendly guesthouse. Just a short walk to the park or the bus stop, and a 5 minute drive to the heart of downtown Missoula. Views of elk on Mt. Jumbo in cold season, and close to Sha Ron fishing hole/access point on Clark Fork for river season (less than a mile).

Williamsburg, Missoula is an open, airy loft space above a detached garage with a private entrance, bathroom, washer and dryer, radiant floor heating, TV, wifi, and a full kitchen with full sized appliances . Multiple skylights create a warm space for both work and relaxation.

Guests have access through a side entrance gate at the back of the main residence. A private entrance to the garage loft space is immediately beyond the gate. The main portion of the garage and the backyard of the residence is off limits to guests.

Comfortable apartment located on a country property near the Clark Fork River. Just off Interstate 90 20 minutes west of Missoula with easy access to the airport and the University of Montana.

This is a seasonal unit available from early spring until the first heavy snow arrives. Reservations in the off season may be requested by contacting the host and will be considered based on weather, accessibility and SAFTEY. we do get ice.

The space
Apartment has a full modern kitchen and bath. Queen bed in the sleeping area and the sofa is a queen sleeper also. EASY access to I-90, surrounded by towering pine trees.
This property is not suitable for young children. Access is via a staircase and there is an unguarded standing propane stove fireplace.

Guests have access to the driveway and apartment only. Unfortunately there is no public access to the river from the property.

Public access to the Clark Fork river and the National Forest are near by.

Cell service in the area is available for AT&T customers. For Verizon and other carriers the closest service is at the highway on ramp near by.

This is a beautiful camper with an awning, bunk beds, a private room with a queen bed, kitchen, bathroom with shower, outdoor shower, dining area, sofa, flat screen, air conditioning and heater. It is right next to a cute seasonal creek with a canopy and table and chairs and we also have lovely hiking trails. Dogs are allowed, cats are not allowed.
Please note that we are along a busy road and that there is road noise and train tracks close by but we are also very close to amenities.

The space
We are located adjacent to a forest. We have a horse pasture, very large lawn, and a play set if your kiddos would like to play.
It is possible to spot bears and mountain lions so be prepared.

Guest access
You are welcome to use the large front yard with the play set, and enjoy the road that leads you right up into the national forest. Foot traffic and bikes only.

Artsy interior with high ceiling, stained glass, and historic windows over looking the main house yard. Cheerfully decorated with simple, homey touches. The kitchenette is small, but fully furnished for cooking: 4 burner and oven, microwave, small fridge, and coffee machine. The bedroom is off the living space separated by french doors. The new 2014 spring-support futon can be used to sleep 2 additional guests for additional service fee of $25 for bed servicing/linens and $25 per person for guests after 2.

The space
This is a studio style home that is nestled between our private home and shop. It has an open living space. A barn door closes off the sleeping and dining area. A full and single mattress bunk bed is available with plenty of space for other sleeping arrangements. We also provide a queen sized mattress (on a frame so it’s off the floor).

There is a TV room with a projector screen with Apple TV connected and a workout area close by. You’ll have a kitchen right next to the dining area along with a bathroom and washer/dryer.
