Nest Harding is a lovely, comfortable studio we built in 2016. It has a bright full kitchen, a full bathroom, and comfortable yet hip feel. It has beautiful views of our gardens and orchards, Blanchard Lake marsh, distant hills, and mountains. It's a second-story loft in a quiet neighborhood 4 miles from adorable downtown Whitefish. We are 30 minutes from Glacier National Park. Our area is surrounded by lakes and rivers with plenty of hiking, biking, skiing, and fun adventures!

The space
Nest Harding is a sparkling clean 24'x24' space on the second floor. It is open, bright and comfortable. It has beautiful views of our gardens and orchards, Blanchard Lake marsh, and distant hills and mountains. The windows face east/west so bright morning sunshine and gorgeous sunsets are a daily pleasure. It has a full kitchen and full bathroom with a bathtub. Our loft has a Phoenix composting toilet. It is odorless, effective and delightful to use. We think you'll be pleased.
In the summer, we have air conditioning so you can rest easily. Radiant heat warms the floor (and everything else) in the winter. It is a comfortable, carefree, efficient type of heat.
Our goal is to provide you with an affordable, beautiful, comfortable place to rest after all your Montana adventures!

We want your trip to be exceptional. Feel free to wander the gardens, check out the trees, and enjoy a cup of tea inside the greenhouse on a rainy day. You're welcome to park either in the spaces under the big larch tree, or in front of the garage. We are flexible!

Other things to note
When we travel, we choose to stay in lodging with no tv. We want to be pushed to step out of our routine and explore our new surroundings. We know we are old fashioned! We instead read, talk, play games, look at stars! So in the loft there is a painting where the tv might be.
Please watch your head! The bathroom has a low ceiling on one side, as does the living space. We have tried to place furniture to minimize the chance of bumping your head.

Welcome to paradise!!! The Flathead valley is amazing. The cabin is nestled in the trees on a 20 acre ranch. Close to town for shopping. You can sit on the porches and look up into Glacier National Park. So many exciting things to do here in our wonderful valley. The cabin was custom-built with some amazing bunk beds. Remember this is a cabin and there is some rustic living with that (not the Ritz). Enjoy the country living and I can tell you all fun stories if you want when you get here!

The space
Get ready for wonderful views of Whitefish mountains all the way to glacier national park. Close by to the main house so in case you need anything we are right there. Remember this is a cabin and not the Ritz Carlton. You will have a little country rustic living. If you see a bug then there is three options, squish it, eat it or throw it outside. If you see a deer take a picture not a shot. If you see a mouse have it make you a dress or call the house and we will set a trap. There are occasional bald eagles and hawks in the area. The views are amazing and your going to love it!

We do have onsite parking to the cabin. We have a couple options. When you get there we will show you the trick to weave around the chicken coupe past the trees and park up closer to the cabin. (Less walking with your suitcases) or just park under the trees for about a 200’ walk. Feel free to enjoy the beautiful views and the wonderful pine trees all around. Feel free to hang out in the hammock out front and read a book or relax in our perfect compact cabin.

Other things to note
We do have a back deck with a table and chairs. (No rails, about 3’ tall) Feel free to hang out and enjoy the amazing views of Glacier park and of the Whitefish mountains.
Due to insurance issues the following are not available for use - especially children: zip line, tree house, fort behind the cabin and climbing rope.
You may offer the horses apples or carrots as long as you don’t go into the pastures.
We do live in a separate house on the property. Please be courteous with noise from 11:00pm till 7:00am. No Parties... especially toga ones. Those freak me out. Oh, and ugly sweater parties... I am also not a fan. This is a wonderful place to just unplug and relax.

The space
This 750 square foot cabin is a structurally distinctive Quonset hut specifically engineered for the snow, wind and elements of the area. These structures are energy efficient and allow for an open concept living space.

The area is quiet and secluded, great for walks and viewing the sunrises or sunsets. The sunsets from the cabin are spectacular.

Your stay will include a complimentary "s'mores station," local Montana coffee, creamer and bread. Fire pit and barbeque on site. We keep the cabin fully stocked with chopped firewood and fires starters. We also offer use of a 2-person inflatable kayak and inflatable standup paddleboard for a fun day on the lake, life jackets included. During the Winter, we have a collection of snowshoes/trekking poles for your use.

As of spring of 2023, the cabin now offers high speed Wi-Fi so you can keep connected with loved ones, tend to emails, or check the weather before you head out for the day. We also offer an extensive library of DVDs if you feel like relaxing with a movie at night, as well as an Amazon Firestick

Guest access
An RV site, with full hookups, is also available if other members of your party are traveling with an RV. Please note that we will NOT rent the cabin and RV site out to separate parties unless it is at your request. You may message us with further inquiries on the RV site.

Parking for 2 vehicles is available in the RV site next to the cabin, single small parking space directly in front of the cabin.

For those interested in hiking or mountain biking in the Spring/Summer/Fall or snowshoeing/cross country skiing in the Winter endless access to public lands is less than 2 minutes from the cabin. Laminated maps are provided on the fridge. We are happy to point you in the right direction. This is one of the best "hidden gems" of our area!

Other things to note
The closest grocery stores are in Kalispell so we recommend that you stock up before heading out for your stay. Albertsons, Super1 and Smith's are popular and located within 25 minutes from the cabin. The nearest gas station, Kelly Rae's, also offers basic amenities such as milk, butter, beer, etc.

Pets: Up to two dogs are welcome with a $50 nonrefundable pet fee for additional cleaning. Dogs must be crated if left unattended and are not allowed on the sofa or bed. The guest house features waterproof luxury vinyl flooring throughout, except for the carpeted bedroom.

Parking: The guest house includes two parking spots directly in front. For large vehicles like RVs, mobile homes, or those with trailers, please contact the host for approval before arrival. If you’re expecting visitors, let the host know in advance to ensure adequate parking arrangements.

Guest Access: Access to the entire guest house, excluding the basement storage area.

Main House: A separate main house, located approximately 75 yards from the guest house, is rented independently.

Hidden Moose Lodge is a rustic Bed & Breakfast /Lodge and has been family owned and operated since 1995. Kim & Kent Taylor and their staff go above and beyond to exceeding their guests expectations. Hidden Moose Lodge is a 5-minute drive to Whitefish Mountain Resort, downtown Whitefish, and city beach. They are also within walking distance to a few local eateries and hiking trails as well! Glacier National Park is only a 30-minute drive.

The space
Hidden Moose Lodge has ample spaces to gather inside and outside; from outdoor patios, fire pits, hot tubs, and gardens, to indoor large living room areas with board games.

Come rest in our pet-friendly cottage overlooking 2,000 acres of beautiful farmland in the shadow of the breathtaking Swan Mountain Range. The peace in palpable here. You'll feel immediately at home in the tastefully decorated yet comfortable Farm Cottage, just 10 minutes from Kalispell, or to Bigfork, and 30 minutes to Glacier National Park.

The space
The fully-equipped kitchen has all the essentials for actually making meals (though there are many great restaurants in the area). Grilling and hot-tubbing while admiring those views, relaxing in the hammock, playing horseshoes, and eating alfresco are favorites at the Farm Cottage. For dessert, create smores over the firepit, and gaze at the stars in this "thin place" that is the Flathead Valley.

The spacious bedroom is on the lower level with a queen-sized bed and plenty of closet space. The adjacent full bathroom down the hall includes a washer and dryer.
