Cabin is situated right off of the Great Northern Historical Trail—a 22 mile paved trail that leads to Flathead Lake. Great for biking, horseback riding, jogging or an evening stroll.
It is 45 min to the West Entrance of Glacier National Park and only a few miles to the nearest Albertsons store in Kalispell. Not far from town for all your shopping needs.

Situated on almost 8 acres, the property is shared with other houses and farm animals. If you don’t mind potentially hearing cows mooing or horses neighing, you are welcome to make yourself at home amidst our project property. Say hello to the animals if you like and they likely will say hello to you. There is access directly off this property to the Great Northern Historical Trail, if you care to take a morning jog, or evening stroll. Many enjoy biking this path that leads over 20 miles down to Flathead Lake.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil cabin on a hill. Beautiful views of the valley and woods surrounded by Montana beauty. This cabin is located on a family owned and operated farm / ranch with horses, chickens and lots of wildlife.

We are located about 25 minutes from Glacier Airport, 10 minutes from downtown Kalispell, 48 minutes to Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort and 45 minutes from Glacier National Park.

The cabin is new construction (2022) on a 40 acre ranch. We are a true working ranch and you will see us working horses, chickens, mending fences, building barns, working in the workshop and other ranch activities. We try hard to not disturb guests but at times real ranch life happens and the sounds of hammers, saws, roosters and happy horses does happen. We've also tried hard to make the cabin comfortable and the ranch very inviting to guests. We hope you enjoy your stay and have a great time relaxing.

We are located 7 miles west of Kalispell, Montana in a quiet country setting with beautiful views. Not too far from town, which offers shopping centers and eateries, but also just a short drive from any one of the great lakes, hiking trails, or ski mountians we have surrounding the Flathead Valley. With newly updated flooring, paint, windows, window coverings and bedding we hope to offer a fresh look, that would be welcoming to all of our guests. We offer a private deck with a large fire pit right down the steps. We have a king sized bed in the bedroom, and a full size futon in the living room. This guesthouse offers a kitchenette that includes a sink, mini fridge, coffee maker, and toaster oven, perfect for making breakfast or lunch. If you are looking for something with a nice quiet setting but that isn't too far from attractions, this is the place for you.

We have three beautiful Australian Shepard's who are protective of the property, and sensitive to strangers. They are all bark and no bite. During your stay we will do our best to keep them contained and out of your hair. Cooper, Marlo and Emmett are very loving, they just need time to get to know you. Please note that this is a cabin, and it is quite small. The following items are things guests have complained about before— please read before booking!

-While we do our best to provide all the comforts and conveniences you could want during your stay, such as a shower with hot water, full kitchen, heat, clean linens, a comfortable bed, Keurig coffee, and more, it IS a cabin, and that fact is reflected in the humble finishes and furnishings.

-This cabin is a great choice as a base camp for travelers looking to enjoy the great outdoors in this beautiful part of the world, and maybe not a great choice for those looking to stay inside all day watching TV (the only place to sit is the bed or a couple of camp chairs).

-There is also an unfinished-looking area behind the shower that allows us access to the utilities located back there.

-There is a crawl space door located in the bathroom. This door leads to the plumbing under the cabin— please leave it closed.

-A couple of guests have been offended by the way the cabin smells. Please note that if you have a particularly sensitive sense of smell, you may want to look elsewhere. Otherwise, opening the windows helps to air out the small space of its woodsy/propane-y smell.

-Also note that there are long-term residents living in the main home on the property.

When the lake freezes over, a winter delight consists of skiing down to the lake and gliding along on the frozen surface for a brisk cardio loop - no driving necessary.

Centrally located between Kalispell and Bigfork, Montana, the farm is just 15 minutes north of Flathead Lake and 40 +/- minutes to Glacier National Park & Whitefish Ski resort. The space
Private entrances, detached building, dedicated parking, full kitchen (you make coffee and tea provided), private deck, Dish TV in every room, Weber gas BBQ, shared picnic area and fire pit upon request, super quiet and farm is listed as part of the Kalispell Historic District.

Guest access
You'll have full access to the apartment with private entrances and a dedicated parking area adjacent to the stairs leading to the upper entry.

We have a wooded area as you enter the farm and pasture areas to the south and west of the apartment that you're more than welcome to explore. Take a look at the original homestead and granary built in the 1890’s and feel free to say “howdy” to the small herd of American Bison that sometimes graze on our lower pasture.

We also have a fire pit and would be happy to help you have a campfire (pending any local burning restrictions that may be in place during your visit). This would be a shared experience with the owners for a couple of reasons: first, we love having a chat with friends around the campfire, and second, we need to take every precaution to ensure the fire is contained and properly extinguished especially during the dry summer months.

Other things to note
We have a couple of good will ambassadors (AKA dogs) named Chester and Charley.

Chester is a mini Bernedoodle (he’s our Chief Hospitality Officer) and Charley is an Australian Labradoodle; they are both super friendly and absolutely love meeting everyone who comes to the farm.

This unique place has style and class. Our guest suite has been decorated in such a way as to provide a beautiful and relaxing environment in which to recharge. So make a coffee at our coffee bar, kick back and take in the lovely view of the valley. Watch the clouds of the big sky roll by as you recharge and gear up for another day of fantastic adventure in Montana's great outdoors.

The space
Our location in elevated just enough to get a full view of the beautiful Flathead valley and the Swan Mountain Range. Off to the distant left, the peaks of Glacier National Park can be seen. And if you happen to come on the 4th of July, fireworks can be seen across the valley.

Directly behind our property you will see the lower cliffs of Lone Pine State Park. The trail heads for this park are just down the road and within walking distance. It is a perfect hike if you don't want to go far but yet get a good workout in. You can hike to the lower cliffs above our home and it's great view, but it you want the best view, go all the way to the top and see the whole valley - you can even see clear down to the Flathead Lake. Lone Pine is a local's favorite. You've got to try it.

We are also within walking distance to the 22 mile Great Northern Rails to Trials bike path. It's great for a summer evening stroll or a serious bike ride. Our family has used this bike path on many an occasion.

Our guest suite has been carefully crafted with you in mind. Since it's apart of our family home and we wish to make it as private for you as possible, we have added a whole layer of insulation to all the ceilings in your entire suite. We understand that not even hotels are fully sound proof, but we sure have tried out best to minimize the noise because we want you to be able to relax and enjoy this beautiful spot.

This space is apart of our family home and we have done and will continue to do our best to give you all the privacy you need. As mentioned before, we have made modifications to our home to dampen and muffle surrounding noise. We do ask that you will be gracious and understanding to our family should you hear anything. We are an active family with moving parts and schedules, but our aim is to be mindful and respectful of you and your experience as our guests.

The space
This cozy private space has 1 bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower. The kitchen has a full stove, small fridge, sink, microwave, pots, pans, utensils and a quaint kitchen table. The bedroom has a queen bed, mirror, spacious armoire & arm chair. A comfortable queen-sized futon in living room, armchair and smart tv for streaming. Privacy frosting on windows ensure a private experience.

Note: the bedroom does not have a door.

Guests will have the whole unit to themselves, parking for 2 vehicles, end-to-end. A refreshingly unassuming location; Expect to be tucked away from the main house, adjacent to our 2 car garage and family yard with abundant large trees.

We trust your Montana stay at Maple House will be clean and comfy, enjoyable and relaxing.

We do live on the property, so you can expect to hear the normal backyard noises such as the occasional child or chicken from the adjacent yard.

Completed in 2019 this 2 bedroom is as good as it gets in Kalispell's historic east side. 3 blocks from main street and the nearest brewery/restaurant. 4 blocks from the famed Conrad Mansion and located among other architectural classics. Located just 20 minutes from the airport, activities are in every direction.
Downtown Kalispell is just a quick 10 minute drive, Glacier National Park is a beautiful 45 minute drive, 20 minutes down town Whitefish, 17 minutes to the pristine Flathead Lake.

The 4P ranch is a beautiful horse ranch that is only a short drive to Flathead Lake and Glacier Park. The views are spectacular, right out your front door is all water fowl protection area with all kinds of wildlife. The ranch has beautiful horses all around in lush green pastures. This is truly Gods country! This is cabin A. If cabin a is booked search for the 4p ranch cabin b.

The space
These are beautiful cabins with spectacular views. The kitchen is full size with granite counter tops, stainless appliances. It is open concept with a full-sized living room with large windows overlooking the ranch. The bedroom is beautify decorated with a king-sized bed and his and her closets. The laundry has full sized washer and dryer. The front deck is 10 X16 and a great place to relax and enjoy your favorite beverage or even dinner. Watch the eagles fly by and the horses run through the lush green pastures. There is a creek running along the base of the property that is fun exploring and some of the locals even enjoy paddle boarding. It will be a stay to remember.

To start with you will have your own private cabin with all the amenities and most of the ranch is open to guests for meandering around and enjoying the mountain views and wildlife. It's the true Montana experience.

Other things to note
This is one of two brand new cabins that will be available June 1st. This cabin is cabin A and if the dates that you require are taken be sure and look for cabin B and check those dates.

Service animals are not to be allowed on any furniture (beds, couches, chairs ect) should this house rule not be adhered to there will be a substantial added cleaning fee.
