Q) Is the guest house included? Will it be rented to other guests while we are there?
A) The Shasta Suites sleeps 8 and has one bathroom. It is included with the Cabin and is never rented separately.
Q) What is your cancellation policy?
A) As a general rule, reservations cannot be canceled. Depending on time frame and circumstance, owner is willing to accommodate on a case by case basis. Please reach out.
Q) In August how low does the lake get?
A) When the lake is full it has an elevation of 4828 feet. In 2022, it was fullest on June, at 4827.44 feet. On July 19th 2022, it was at 4824.34 feet.
The closest boat ramp to us is at the Donnelly City Park which has an end of ramp elevation of 4817 feet. At the end of August and in September we use the ramp at Rainbow Point, 4814 feet, or the ramp at Poison Creek, 4812 feet.

Q) Is it ok to beach or anchor our boat in front of the cabin?
A) Absolutely. Not only is the beach kid friendly but it's also boat friendly, with a smooth, sandy, gentle slope. We have a permitted mooring buoy. Normally we beach our boat during the days and keep it attached to the mooring buoy during the nights.
We learned that it is not a good idea to drive the boat up onto the beach. Instead, you should cut the engine and glide onto the beach.
Q) Are there any rules about using the beach or surrounding waterfront?
A) On Lake Cascade the beaches are public. Of course, as a guest at the cabin, you have direct access to the beach. If you are not staying at the cabin, but at another lot in the interior, you cannot trespass on the lakefront lots to get to the beach. You can legally get to any beach by boat or by land using an access lot. There are a couple of such access lots nearby to the north and to the south of us. We pay a membership to help maintain the one to the south. It has picnic tables, a fire pit, etc. and a beach.
Q) What would be the closest boat launch?
A) That would be the Donnelly City Park which is one mile or three minutes.
Late in the season when the water is low we sometimes use Rainbow Point. It is on the other side of the lake and is 5.6 miles or twelve minutes. Rainbow Point is only two miles by boat, however.
We sometimes use, but only at extremely low water, Poison Creek which is 8.2 miles or 17 minutes. It is the campground closest to the Tamarack Resort on the other side of the lake and to the south of us.
Q) Is there enough room for parking a boat trailer, snowmobile trailer, motorcycle trailer, etc.?
A) Yes. There should be ample parking. We put in a circle drive in the fall of 2019!
Q) Are kids ok?
A) Absolutely. The cabin was made for kids of all ages.
Q) Can we invite our friends up?
A) You are welcome to have up to a total of 12 people on the property.
Q) What are the rules?
A) Just the usual rules. You and all guests must obey all laws. Smoking anywhere on the premises is prohibited. You are responsible for any damage that occurs during your stay. Be sensitive to the neighbors after the sun goes down. Suggested quiet hours are 10pm-7am. No on street parking.
Q) Where can you rent boats?
A) We highly recommend Mountain Meadow Adventure rentals. They are a 9 minute drive from the cabin (4 minutes on the lake) on the way to Tamarack. It is a family business and Ben and Rachel are super nice. If they are not busy they will bring the boat/jet ski right to the cabin's beach!
Q) Is there a barbecue grill available?
A) Yes. We have a large Blackstone griddle available for use on the deck.
Q) Are there enough pots and pans for a large family or do we have to bring our own?
A) The kitchen is fully equipped. If you have some specialty items or need to use an extra large pot, you may want to bring a few things of your own from home, but we have everything you normally need waiting for you in the cabin.
Q) Do you have life jackets we can use?
A) You will need to bring your own life jackets.
Q) Can we have an early check-in and/or a late check-out?
A) Let us know if you need or want to have extra time before or after the usual 11 a.m. check-out and 4 p.m. check-in time. When we can accommodate you, we will. It all depends on our housekeepers and how tightly our reservations are scheduled.
Guests have full access to the Main Cabin and the Shasta Suites.

*Lake Cascade is a reservoir used for irrigation. The lake level varies during the year. At high water, the beaches around the lake are covered or nearly covered by water. At low water, the beaches are large and the lake is small and shallow.

Ponderosa Lane is located just west of the town of Donnelly and off of South Norwood Road. The cottage is located on a large lot (one acre) and there are trees separating it from nearby vacation cabins. While it`s not totally secluded, you will not feel crowded. It is across the street from Cascade Lake. There is no community boat dock but the Donnelly boat docks are about two miles away, where you may relax on the beach and launch your watercraft. This cabin is minutes from the attractions and recreation of Donnelly, Idaho. The surrounding national forests are full of trails and Tamarack Resort is about 10 minutes away. McCall is about 20 minutes to the north.
Sleeping up to 6 adults and 2 infants, this home has an upstairs bedroom with a queen-size bed, a master with a new queen bed, and a full-sized sofa bed in the living room. The full bathroom on the main floor has a jetted soaker tub and the upstairs 1/2 bath is tiny, but handy if you don`t want to walk down the stairs at night.
The nearby town of Donnelly has a handful of restaurants and boutique shops and a gas station/convenience store that carries any items you may have left behind.
This home is pet friendly, but pre-approval is required in all instances. Prior to booking, please submit the pet breed, weight and age. For approved pets, there is a fee per pet.
This cottage is accessible year round and is located on a completely level lot about 3 miles from the town of Donnelly, on your way to Tamarack Ski Resort. Roads and driveway are all paved and snow removal service is provided all winter.

Year-round you can visit Gold Fork Hot Springs, explore the wooded surroundings, bike, hike or just relax in this luxurious cabin and enjoy games, watch a movie or whip up something delicious in the kitchen.
The cabin is located about 90 miles from Boise and is a very short drive from Tamarack Resort. You`ll be right between McCall and Cascade. Little Ski Hill and Brundage Mountain Ski Resort are all just a little further up the road from McCall.
Snow Months:
During adverse weather months (not always, but generally December-March/April- review the forecast), it is required that all guests be prepared for the conditions. Four-wheel drive, tire chains and winter tires are required. The road leading to the cabin is private and maintained by a private contractor. If a guest`s vehicle becomes stuck, it will be the guests` responsibility to find a local tow company to extract their vehicle(s). We recommend Brown`s Towing. If damage is done to the road by guests, and especially due to guests getting stuck, it will be the responsibility of the guest to repair the road.

If you`re a fan of great views, ample parking and being close to Tamarack, come stay at Tamarack Basecamp! Settle into two master bedrooms and sleep up to four guests.
This newly built cabin features a very deep two car garage and an open floor plan. With a huge parking area on a flat lot, you`ll have ample parking in the circular driveway for trailers. You`ll be not far from Tamarack, Donnelly and Cascade Lake, with year-round accessibility.

Guests are allowed to access the entire cottage, minus a locked owner`s closet.
This cottage is accessible year round and is located on a large, level lot, about 3 miles from the town of Donnelly and on your way to Tamarack Resort. Roads leading to the driveway are paved and snow removal service is provided all winter.

Huckleberry Hideout is a single-story cabin located minutes from Boulder Creek Beach at Cascade Lake. There are many beautiful areas to explore around the cabin. The driveway is large enough for 5 vehicles and the long area next to the cabin is perfect for trailers.

- "Excellent" - "I must say we were overly impressed by the customer service and attentiveness of our hosts and hostesses….whether it was getting approval for our pups, to confirmation via personal conversations prior to arrival, and the best and very prompt response to late and last min “late” check out request as our little man wasn’t feeling 100, and a little more rest upon check out am was soo necessary and appreciated! One major thing, and I called the on call number as soon as we arrived….The back door to the patio was left ajar. There were also many random lights left on all over the house. I can say it was just myself and my son who first arrived, and it was a bit scary to see a door left open in such a beautiful and big home. Fortunately it seemed to be a pure accident, but we did make sure to report to host company and my son and I creeped Through the house to check it out before fully being able to kick back!!"

This cabin has shared subdivision sandy beach lake access, which is across the street and to the south one lot. The cabin is accessible year-round and is just 2 miles from the town of Donnelly.
Main Floor:
1- Master Bedroom with a King Bed and attached bathroom.
2- Bedroom with Queen Bed and a shared bathroom.
3- Bunk Room with 2 Twin Bunk Beds. (sleeps 4).
Cabin Features:
Smart TV, DVD player, board games, pool table, dining table, ceiling fans, electric fireplace and a fire pit in the yard.
Kitchen:
Fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, cooking basics, spices, drip coffee maker, K-cup coffee maker, dishware & flatware, microwave, blender and toaster.
General:
Free high speed Wi-Fi (may be slower during peak seasons), linens & towels, complimentary toiletries, central heat, in-home laundry machines, iron & ironing board, hair dryer, keyless entry, trash bags & paper towels. 2-3 steps required for access; this area... may be difficult for guests with limited mobility.

- "Fourth generation family of 8 stayed comfortably. The cottage/cabin was perfectly located just steps away from a beautiful large beach on the lake. The cottage had everything we needed and more than we expected. They had a paddle board and a kayak ready to use. The cottage had Life jackets, chairs, beach towels and a wagon to carry everything down to the beautiful beach. The cottage had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The kitchen was large and spacious. We never felt crowded when we stayed in and played games while raining. The large covered deck was perfect for the rainy days to sit out. We did need to bring a Weber grill to BBQ. The fire pit was perfect for roasting. We took walks around the neighborhood. Plenty of parking. It was fabulous. I would recommend this place for all ages."

Luxury awaits as you walk through the front door and are greeted by soaring ceilings. This, is where your memories will be made. The custom kitchen flows seamlessly into the living room with comfy couches and the fireplace sets the right vibe for your stay. Massive glass doors guide you to the patio where the pines are the backdrop to this beautifully wooded lot. Hop into the hot tub to finish your night or stargaze by the fire pit and you'll forget all your troubles at home.

Welcome to your home away from home. Tucked away in beautiful Crane Shores located along Cascade Lake with access via neighborhood trails. This home backs up to public land and makes you feel as though you’ve escaped to the mountains while still having all the comforts of home. The backyard is full of native plants and wildlife along with a large fire pit area for roasting s’mores and an extensive covered patio. Enjoy the neighborhood walking paths and a private park with covered picnic tables.

The cabin is located on a large lot just west of Donnelly and about 12 miles from McCall. Tamarack Resort is 5 miles down the road and Brundage Mountain is about 20 miles away. Jug Mountain Ranch and Golf Course is just 10 miles from the cabin.
Outside, the home is surrounded by natural surrounds that lead down to the north section of Cascade Lake and there are views of the west mountain range, Tamarack Ski Resort and Jug Mountain. The covered patio features a gas grill. Enjoy s`mores and endless stars around the outdoor fire pit.
Outdoor attractions like Payette Lake, the Salmon and Payette Rivers, Jug Handle Mountain Bike Trails and four golf course are all within close range to explore, and in winter the resorts boast fresh powder trails and full amenities! McCall and the nearby historic city of Roseberry are simply charming, offering fun for the whole group.

There were two things I wish were different: Kitchen: There isn't room in any of the cabinets to store your groceries. What we think was the pantry had a lock on it. All of our groceries had to stay out on the kitchen counters. It just seemed cluttered, and it took away from the beauty of the kitchen. Master Bedroom: There are 6 windows in the master bedroom. (If I remember correctly). Half of them have light filtering shades and the other half have no shades at all. The other bedrooms have blackout shades. I would have preferred blackout shades in the master, or at least shades on all the windows. It's a beautiful home and you can't go wrong staying here. We would stay here again."

Spread out in this refined, lodge-inspired home near the Northwest end of Lake Cascade. Stunning views of the surrounding area are framed by ceiling-high rows of windows, which you can enjoy while feeling the warmth of the wood-burning stove. There are two furnished balcony`s and a spacious backyard furnished deck. Amenities include a private washer/dryer, storage cabinets and garage for sports equipment downstairs, and a fantastic open kitchen upstairs. But it might be that spot on the deck, where the mountains merge with the trees just so, that you`ll keep returning to.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms—one with both a queen and king bed, and another with two queen beds. The downstairs bedroom is equipped with a king bed. The cabin’s layout is ideal for families or groups, offering a welcoming and peaceful atmosphere.

This new cabin is spacious and inviting. Guests are welcomed into a large living area with high ceilings and windows that offer a full view of the beauty of the lake and mountains. An attractive floor to ceiling stone hearth, with a gas fireplace, surrounded by comfortable seating, creates a cozy atmosphere anytime.
Whether you are set to have your family vacation in winter, spring, summer or fall, there is something to do year-round while staying at this amazing lakeside retreat!
The lake front cabin is accessible year-round and is just a few miles from the town of Donnelly.
With 7 large bedrooms (2 main floor master suites) and 4 1/2 bathrooms, this home was designed for families or large groups. This lakeside home includes a private swimming dock and room for 2 docked boats. After a day in the lake warm up at the custom fire pit with amazing sun-set views over the mountains. There is a large outside deck with ample seating, a smoker and a large propane grill. Below the deck you`ll find a private hot tub tucked away with gorgeous lake and mountain views.
The interior of this home is unparalleled. It features enough rustic mountain touches to keep the atmosphere authentic, but with all of the modern luxuries you have come to expect.
The living room, dining area and kitchen have an open concept, providing an optimal space for entertaining the whole group. The dining table is positioned for great views.

Summer activities include mountain biking, hiking, fishing, canoeing, boating, jet skiing, horseback riding, zip line or bike at Tamarack Resort, enjoy a round of golf at one of the four courses in the valley and all the water sports you can imagine.
In the winter, there is skiing and snowboarding at the nearby Tamarack Resort or at McCall`s Brundage Ski Resort, sledding and beginner skiing at the Activity Barn near McCall, thousands of acres of snowmobiling, and your own private sledding hill right out the back yard.
Year-round you can visit the nearby Gold Fork Hot Springs, explore the wooded surroundings (the front of the property boarders some beautiful state land), bike, hike or just relax in this luxurious cabin and enjoy the pool table, ping pong table, games, watch a movie or whip up something delicious in the gourmet kitchen.
The cabin is accessible year-round and the roads and driveway are cleared in the winter. There are no hills or slopes to maneuver and four wheel drive is not necessary, but suggested during winter months.

- "To be honest the cabin looks good but the cleaning needs to be better. Our big concern was the water smells. The water smells like metal and has strong smells. The first night We spent like 3 hours cleaning the cabin because was a lot of dust everywhere and the dishwasher doesn’t work and the last tenant leave loaded with dirty dishes and smells awful. Definitely don’t recommend this cabin. The only good was the communication with the owner and the property management. "

The Perch: Fish and Ski
With rumors of Sharlie the Lake Moster in nearby waters and nourished pines which tell the stories of a thousand years, this cozy property cultivates the perfect destination to escape city attention and still be within biking distance to local hotspots such as Tamarack Resort and Lake Cascade. Located between McCall and Cascade, there are plenty of activities for you to indulge in.
Snowmobile to Lake Cascade right from the cabin! This convenience is most enjoyed by ice fishermen. If interested in skiing and snowboarding, plan a visit to the nearby resorts, Tamarack and Brundage. Tamarack is only a few miles down the road and provides exceptional terrain with top-of-the-line equipment and lifts. Brundage is located just north of McCall with more of a local touch. You can relax and unwind after any adventure with a trip to a nearby hot springs or settle beside our cozy wood-burning fireplace.
BACK DECK comes with everything you need to wine and dine. Turn up the tunes on the whole house audio system and fire up the BBQ grill; we provide all the necessary equipment. The spacious deck with outdoor furniture provides the perfect atmosphere for a wholesome cookout.
FULL RANGE KITCHEN has an open layout, equipped with massive granite countertops, high-quality appliances, and most of the additional kitchen accessories you’ll need to prepare your favorite meals. To show our appreciation, we will also provide a bag of local coffee and popcorn.
DINING ROOM seats nine comfortably, which includes six seats at the main dinner table and three seats at the closely related bar top.

GAME ROOM is a special recreation room in our home dedicated to entertainment, games, and relaxation. There is a game room table that converts into a poker table and a bumper pool table. The sound system permeates the entire home with the ability to play in specific rooms.

Winter Activities
Ice Fishing Tournament, “The Cascade Cup”, is taking place February 15th-16th. This is one of the most anticipated fishing tournaments in the US with some impressive prizes.
McCall Winter Carnival is an annual tradition in Valley County, taking place February 21st-23rd, with plenty of fun activities for the whole family. More information provided online.
Ski, rent snowmobiles, snowshoe, or just relax at your choice of three nearby hot springs, including Goldfork, Burdorf, and Zims. Burgdorf Hot Springs is only accessible by snowmobile during the winter.
Summer Activities
The surrounding nature is filled with wildlife, including elk, deer, owls, and eagles that are sometimes visible from the decks and patios. Binoculars are provided so you can get a close-up look at what Idaho is made of.
Fish right out the backdoor at Cascade Reservoir, which is known to be the BEST PERCH FISHING IN THE WORLD. Or head to the nearby rivers, where you can find extremely sought-after trout fishing. Golf, hike, raft, horseback ride, mountain bike, and more.

This is a new build at Camp Modern! We are finishing the details and will be available for booking the end of October. Just in time to catch all the leaves changing colors. What is "glamping" and is it right for me? Glamping is a combination of the terms "glamorous" and "camping". You WILL be camping, but our version of camping is as comfortable as camping can be! Camping- simplified, if you will! What category do you fall into?
NEW TO CAMPING: this is the best way to get your feet wet! You may be stepping slightly outside of your comfort zone, but not to worry, your comfort is paramount. We have thought ahead and your payoff awaits! We consider this category of people to be in the kiddie pool, you aren't ready for the deep end (buying camping gear, planning, and lugging in supplies). We did all the thinking for you. We do provide a "recommended items" list of things that we can't provide for you but would amplify your stay.
CAMPING REGULARS: Glamping will be next level for you! You will feel right in your element, but no lugging around a tent, pillows, air mattress, blankets, etc. The hard work is already done and a full-sized bed awaits you! Note to yourself: nothing left to do but reserve and be welcomed to Acorn Hollow!

- 192 square foot, 16-foot peak, with 8-foot high (cozy) sleeping loft. Loft is about 5-foot overhead space. - Full-sized bed with pillows and linens (comforter, quilt, and sheets - of course, cleaned between each and every guest, facepalm for even having to mention this...).
- Firepit with outdoor seating including two chairs around fire pit and two chairs + side table on deck.
- An electrical fireplace heater that is equipped to heat the cabin.
- A kitchenette equipped with electrical tea kettle, mini fridge, pour over coffee maker, butane single burner, eatery (including bowls, plates, and disposable knives/spoons/forks), wine bottle opener, tongs, can opener, scissors, pan, pot, and spatula.
- ATTENTION. The cabin is a dry cabin. “So, how do I go to the restroom?!” We are serviced by a porta-potty. The porta-potty is a bit of a trek (aka you’ll be walking in inclement weather and at night- again if this is intimidating we might not be the best fit for you).
- Games: Including corn hole for sunny days and board games for raining days.
- A fan! We understand that some of our guests cannot sleep without one. No need to pack yours, we’ve got one.
- All the nature one needs and maybe a little bit of whimsy along the way!

The cabin is good for close family-friendly activities. You’ll love our place because of the coziness. Our location is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

You're getting away to beautiful Donnelly Idaho?? Only a two hour scenic drive from Boise. This cabin is everything a log cabin should be!! Wood Stove heat, claw bath tub, fully stocked kitchen, Smart TV, with DVD player. WIFi, We do not have Cable TV. Some movie options provided. Nice fire pit in the back for roasting s'mores. We rent the cabin all year round. Only 15 minutes away from Tamarack, Cascade and McCall!! The cabin has one loft with a queen size bed, there are also two twin futons in the loft, perfect for the kids. There is one bedroom downstairs with a queen bed. Boulder Creek State Park and Cascade Lake are only 3/4 of a mile away!!

Our Place is quiet, yet not completley isolated. Grocery/Gas about 2 1/2 miles away- But still you feel like you are away from everything. Approx 3/4 mile from Boulder Creek State Park. Go to the water everyday enjoy the beach and easy boat launching at Bolder Creek . Come home to a complete easy -to -use kitchen . Charcoal BBQ, fire pit, deck with chairs or chairs to take out to the fire pit. Picnic table out back. Plenty of parking. No super close neighbors- but close enough to have ease of mind.
Look out for deer/raccoons/ and foxes.You will have a deer or 2 come by, and our resident fox and neighbor's black dog may make an appearance. Most of the neighbors are very part-time but are all friendly and love for people to stop and say hi!
Fun to just take a walk-most roads are gravel with the main roads paved. The roads are maintained. Check out the extended weather forecast for Donnelly. (URL HIDDEN)

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Quiet cabin that comfortably sleeps 7. Centrally located in Donnelly with easy access to all Valley County has to offer. A 10-mile drive from the cabin brings you to Tamarack Resort. You're situated at the northern end of Cascade Lake, and while your stay certainly feels remote, you'll be just seven miles from Donnelly and an 18-mile drive from McCall, where you'll find grocery stores and restaurants. Be sure to bring your fishing poles, bikes, ATVs, and any other summer toys as well! This family-friendly cabin sits on hundreds of acres of private land, which are perfect for exploring. Please note that for stays exceeding 29 nights, Idaho law requires that we must obtain a lease from you before hosting your stay.
Our company policy also dictates that stays exceeding 29 nights require an extra cleaning every 29 days. This will be billed at the cost of an additional cleaning fee. The space
The property has been in the family for 8 generations and 9th is working on learning more every year. Started as a sawmill and cattle ranch for timber and meat for putting in the railroad in southwest Idaho. Later was used for working ranch with hay and cattle grazing. Over the last 150 years the type of trees has gone away from its natural habitat. Our mission is to improve the land for wildlife while restoring the type of trees and vegetation that once made it great in 1845. We are working hard on the 160 acres with active silviculture practices, fire prevention, erosion control, and water quality. We built the Hidden Pond in 1999 and the birds have come to call it home. If you love birds like we do it is great to watch. From a small finch to the bald eagle they all call the pond home.

Welcome to Viola Cabin! Located 300 feet from scenic Lake Cascade, 30 minutes from Tamarack Ski Resort and McCall; There is so much fun to be had. This luxury family cabin has 5 bedrooms, 11 beds and 3 baths (sleeping 12) Enjoy playing ping pong and foosball, relaxing around the indoor and outdoor firepits, kayaking, playing games and hanging out on the back patio. The space
The first floor welcomes you with a combined large kitchen, dining and living area. There is lots of storage for shoes and coats. Plus an added bonus of boot warmers in the entry way for winter. Enjoy the indoor fireplace and large flat screen tv for movie nights. Massive windows let in lots of natural light and provide a view of the surrounding nature. With a dining table that seats 12, 6 barstools at the island counter and 6 seats on the back patio you can host the entire family! The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the essentials plus a blender, large spice rack, popcorn maker, crockpot, large electric griddle, immersion blender, and waffle maker. Enjoy a cup of coffee with our Keurig. We provide a variety of coffee, teas and hot chocolate to choose from. Adjacent to the kitchen you will find the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, queen size bedroom, another bathroom and the laundry room. EVERY bedroom has a personal workstation, deluxe comforters, plush pillows, and bedside charging ports.
Step out onto your private back patio surrounded by tall pines with nice outdoor furniture, fire table, BBQ grill, and large luxury firepit. Enjoy a very short walk to the lake, play on the beach and hang out on our dock! From our back patio you will hit the beach within 2 minutes of walking. The beach is large and has plenty room for everyone to gather and have fun under the sun. We also have a private dock shared with only four other neighbors.
Please note: from the months of November-February the back patio may not be available during your stay as it may be covered in several feet of snow. The owner is not always up there to shovel. However, you will still have access to the large luxury fire pit. The lake is usually fully frozen over after December 1st. Use at your own risk.
Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, a massive bunk room, 1 bathroom and loft area with a sectional. Each bathroom has a large dispenser filled with high quality body wash, shampoo and conditioner. 2 queen size bedrooms each with personal work stations, plush pillows and bedside charging ports. The massive bunk room has 7 beds; 2 twin over double bunk beds and 3 queen size beds. Plus lots of extra fun amenities! Get cozy with extra blankets, play foosball, ping pong, game on the Wii U and watch a movie on the large flatscreen tv. We provide dozens of games and movies. We also have an entire cabinet filled with board games. This 2021 luxury cabin has absolutely everything you need for the perfect getaway!
We also offer Kayak and Paddleboard Rentals! We currently have three kayaks and one paddleboard. We ask that you sign a liability waiver and send payment through the Airbnb app. We have competitive rental rates. Once documents are received renting them out is easy and convenient.

The space
The perfect summer or winter mountain cabin getaway, Donnelly Lake Cabin (main cabin 1400 sq. ft. with guest house 600 sq. ft.) on lakefront lot. Sleeps 12 in beds. The space
4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms. Two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms are in the main cabin and two bedrooms and one bathroom are in the guest house, known as the Shasta Suites. Each bedroom in the Shasta Suites also has a sink and vanity. Master Bedroom sleeps 2 with king size bed. Second Bedroom in cabin sleeps 3 with a queen size and a full-size bed. Two more bedrooms in the guest house each sleep 4 with a queen size bed and a bunk bed in each room. Two of the full bathrooms have a shower and one of the full bathrooms has a tub and shower.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q) Is the guest house included? Will it be rented to other guests while we are there?
A) The Shasta Suites sleeps 8 and has one bathroom. It is included with the Cabin and is never rented separately.
Q) How long will you hold my reservation if I need time to consult with the others in my party?
A) We cannot guarantee from moment to moment how long your tentative dates will be open. Guest reservations become effective upon payment.
Q) What is your cancellation policy?
A) I have a strict cancellation policy. That being said I consider myself to be reasonable and will always do my best to accommodate on a case by case basis.
Q) In August how low does the lake get?
A) When the lake is full it has an elevation of 4828 feet. In 2016, it was fullest on June 10, at 4827.44 feet. On August 1, 2016, it was at 4821.6 feet and on August 31, 2016, it was at 4816.75 feet. On October 6, 2016, it reached the lowest level for the year at 4813.48 feet.
In 2017 the lake was fullest on July 1, at 4827.36. feet. On Sept 10th, 2017, it had only dropped to 4819. It stayed between 4818 and 4819 until October 22, 2017, when it started to rise above 4819 again.
The closest boat ramp to us is at the Donnelly City Park which has an end of ramp elevation of 4817 feet. At the end of August and in September we use the ramp at Rainbow Point, 4814 feet, or the ramp at Poison Creek, 4812 feet.

Q) Is it ok to beach or anchor our boat in front of the cabin?
A) Absolutely. Not only is the beach kid friendly but it's also boat friendly, with a smooth, sandy, gentle slope. We have a permitted mooring buoy. Normally we beach our boat during the days and keep it attached to the mooring buoy during the nights.
We learned that it is not a good idea to drive the boat up onto the beach. Instead, you should cut the engine and glide onto the beach.
Q) Are there any rules about using the beach or surrounding waterfront?
A) On Lake Cascade the beaches are public. Of course, as a guest at the cabin, you have direct access to the beach. Others cannot trespass on the lakefront lots to get to the beach. You can legally get to any beach by boat or by land using an access lot. There are a couple of such access lots nearby to the north and to the south of us. We pay a membership to help maintain the one to the south. It has picnic tables, a fire pit, etc., and a beach.
Q) What would be the closest boat launch?
A) That would be the Donnelly City Park which is one mile or three minutes.
Late in the season when the water is low we sometimes use Rainbow Point. It is on the other side of the lake and is 5.6 miles or twelve minutes. Rainbow Point is only two miles by boat, however.
We sometimes use, but only at extremely low water, Poison Creek which is 8.2 miles or 17 minutes. It is the campground closest to the Tamarack Resort on the other side of the lake and to the south of us.
Q) Is there enough room for parking a boat trailer, snowmobile trailer, motorcycle trailer, etc.?
A) Yes. There should be ample parking. We have a large circle drive and additional parking. There is not on street parking allowed.
Q) Are kids ok?
A) Absolutely. The cabin was made for kids of all ages.
Q) Can we invite our friends up?
A) The cabin allows for 12 people. Due to an ordinance passed in Valley County, short-term rentals are not allowed more than 12 people on the property.
Q) What are the rules?
A) Just the usual rules. You and all guests must obey all laws. Smoking anywhere on the premises is prohibited. You are responsible for any damage that occurs during your stay. Be sensitive to the neighbors after the sun goes down. Quiet hours in our neighborhood are 10pm-7am. Please clean up any trash that may have been left outside prior to checkout.
Q) Where can you rent boats?
We highly recommend Mountain Meadow Adventure rentals. They are a 9 minute drive from the cabin (4 minutes on the lake) on the way to Tamarack. It is a family business and Ben and Rachel are super nice.
Q) Is there a barbecue grill available?
A) Yes. We have a Blackstone Griddle that is available for use on the deck.
Q) Are there enough pots and pans for a large family or do we have to bring our own?
A) The kitchen is fully equipped. If you have some specialty items or need to use an extra large pot, you may want to bring a few things of your own from home, but we have everything you normally need waiting for you in the cabin.
Q) Do you have life jackets we can use?
A) You will need to bring your own life jackets.
Q) Can we have an early check-in and/or a late check-out?
A) Let us know if you need or want to have extra time before or after the usual 11 a.m. check-out and 4 p.m. check-in time. When we can accommodate you, we will. It all depends on our housekeepers and how tightly our reservations are scheduled.
Guests have full access to the Main Cabin and the Shasta Suites.

*Lake Cascade is a reservoir used for irrigation. The water level varies during the year. At high water, the beaches around the lake are covered or nearly covered by water. At low water, the beaches are large and the lake is small and shallow. On average, high water is in June and the first part of July. The water levels start to recede in July and reach the lowest point from the end of September to the first of April.

Besides enjoying this fabulous home and the beautiful location on the lake, you'll have plenty to do for everyone no matter the season.
For those cool winter nights, this home has central heat, but you might enjoy cozy the wood burning fireplace in the living room. ~Please provide your own wood.~ I recommend picking up a bundle or two at the gas station in Donnelly.
For those warm summer nights, this home has central air-conditioning (a rare amenity in McCall/Donnelly).
The exterior features natural landscaping, a circular driveway, an upper balcony and a ground level patio with patio furniture and a barbecue, a private backyard and a private fire pit.
The main level master bedroom has a king bed, a generously sized master bathroom with a soaker tub. French doors lead to the large backyard deck and hot tub. The second bedroom is off the kitchen and has a full-sized hide a bed. This room doubles as a TV/game room and while it does have an entry, it does not have a door. This home has two separate upstairs "wings", with an east and a west wing. In the west wing the third bedroom has a queen bed, and a large private balcony that faces the backyard. Also in the west wing the fourth bedroom has a king bed, and shares a Jack and Jill bathroom with the third bedroom. Outside of these rooms you’ll find a game room with foosball. The fifth bedroom is located in the east wing, up a separate stairway, with it's own full bathroom, two bunk beds (twin over twin with trundles underneath) and a sleeper sofa. It also has a Smart TV with a gaming system.
The cabin is located 90 miles from Boise, Idaho (Just South of Donnelly) on a dirt road (about 1/2 a mile from pavement), and less than a 20 minute drive to Tamarack Resort. You'll be nicely located between McCall and Cascade, or about 15 miles in either direction. Little Ski Hill and Brundage Mountain Ski Resort are a little further up the road from McCall.

The space
This cottage has it all and is conveniently located just a short walk to the Lodge at Osprey Meadows and the resort amenities that include a fitness center, pool and large hot tub as well as a spa. It is adjacent to Tamarack Village where you will find the ski base area, equipment rental, nursery, Canoe Grill and Seven Devils Pub. In the heart of the Tamarack resort it provides great access to all that this four season resort has to offer.
In the summer this is the gateway to hiking/biking trails and the award winning zip line. In the winter just step out the back door to the groomed Alpine runs via the Rock Creek Poma lift, as well as cross country skiing or snowshoeing. Snowmobiling, elk-viewing, and Gold Fork Hot Springs are also easily accessible from this location as well.
This comfortable cabin is the perfect year round retreat for your family and friends. The living area features vaulted ceilings, hard wood floors and comfortable furniture. Cook your meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Relax in the hot tub on the deck after a long day enjoying the outdoor activities. When the sun sets, curl up by the gas fireplace with a book or watch a DVD in the cozy living room. When you are finally ready to call it a day, crawl under the European down comforters and bedding and enjoy a restful nights sleep.
Featuring two master suites including a main level master which has a king size bed, direct access to covered deck and hot tub and adjoining spacious bathroom with soaker tub. The generously sized upstairs bedroom has a queen bed, private bath and additional DVD player. The walk in closet hosts a set of bunk beds and there is an air mattress and extra linens in the armoire if more sleeping space is needed. We also have pack and plays and a high chair if you have a little one in your group.
Your “home away from home” comes with everything you need for a comfortable stay including: all linens, paper products, soap/shampoo, hair dryer and a washer/dryer should you need it. Best of all it has a key less entry system which will be personally programmed for your stay and the code sent upon payment--no need to stop to pick up a key or card that might get lost or not work. Summertime at Tamarack is truly just as magical as winter. Watersport rentals and more are offered from the Tamarack dock on Lake Cascade just across from the resort entrance. There you will also find a boat ramp and state park day use facilities. The mountains offer crystalline alpine lakes filled with trout. Trails traverse the meadow and mountain slopes for hiking and biking to your heart's contents (Even George W Bush has been up to give the trails a test drive). Come enjoy all these great activities mid-May thru the end of October!
Just 17 miles up the road you will find the mountain resort town of McCall and the beautiful glacier fed Payette Lake. Don't miss an opportunity to eat at the famous Pancake House for plate size pancakes and cinnamon rolls. For an incredible mountain golf experience checkout one of the two golf courses in town or the one at Jug Mountain, half way between McCall and Donnelly. ATV snowmobile and water craft are available just down the road fromMountain Meadow Adventures or from Cheap Thrills or C & M Rentals in McCall. Brundage Ski resort is also in the area for more diversity in your ski vacation.

We are directly on the Poma lift to the ski resort and right across from the ski base parking lot. Rock Creek cottages are the closest accommodations to the Lodge at Osprey Meadow outside the lodge itself. The lodge is where you find the swimming pool, fitness center, spa and large hot tub.

Reservation Terms: Full rent is due immediately unless a payment plan was pre-approved.
Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is at 4:00 pm, and check-out is at 10:00 am. Early check-in or late departures require prior authorization and may incur a $25 per hour fee.
Events/Parties: Events or parties are not allowed.
Pets: Not all properties are pet friendly. (ONLY DOGS ALLOWED AT PET FRIENDLY PROPERTIES) Where allowed, pets require pre-approval before booking and a $75 fee PER pet will be assessed and must be paid prior to arrival. Approval of pets are determined by several factors. Ex: age, weight, breed, amount of shedding and sex. If approval is granted but the pet fee(s) are not paid, a pet will be considered unauthorized. A $500 penalty (per pet) will be assessed to the primary guest if there is evidence that unauthorized animal(s) were outside and/or inside the cabin at any point during your stay. In addition, a group with an unauthorized pet might be asked to immediately depart, with no refund. In any event, damage done by a pet will incur an additional charge, whether authorized or unauthorized.
Smoking/Fireworks: Smoking, vaping, and fireworks are not allowed on the property.
Damage: Guests are responsible for any damages and must report them to management immediately.
Courtesy: Please observe quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am.
Cancellation: We abide by the cancellation policy agreed to at booking.
Home Furnishings: Please do not rearrange furniture.
Amenities: Management has 24 hours to repair amenities.
Fire Safety: Follow fire pit rules, and guests are responsible for any fire damage.
Off-Highway Vehicles (OHVs): Operation of OHVs is not permitted on the property but street legal vehicles are allowed on public roads.
Trailer/RV Parking: RV parking requires pre-authorization and a $25 nightly fee.
Hot Tub: If this home has a hot tub (not all homes have hot tubs), please follow hot tub guidelines; a $150 charge applies for "drain and fill."
Wi-Fi: As cabins are frequently located in a rural area, please be prepared for slow/spotty Wi-Fi and internet. Management makes every effort to ensure the Wi-Fi is in working condition, but cannot guarantee the internet will always be reliable, and will not permit refunds due to Wi-Fi/internet issues.
Capacity: Adhere to agreed-upon guest numbers.
Management is not responsible for the following: fires, smoke, algae bloom, water levels of the lake, lack of snow, abundance of snow, changing of the seasons, temperature highs, temperature lows, power outages, rain, mud, ice, etc. We are also not responsible for insects and/or animals (including: mosquitos, ants, spiders, bats, bears, deer, mice, mountain lions, bobcats, any animals that get into trash, or their droppings.) With being located in the mountains, we do our best to prevent these issues, however there are instances where it is inevitable. There will be no refund for any of the above listed issues. Thank you!
