- "This is a beautiful property that accomidated our familygroup of 16 people perfectly! 4 of our family members were seniors and had no issues moving around. Fun activities such as pool table and ping pong to occupy the little ones. Plenty of space for everyone. Katherine was amazing to work with and had great communication. They even had a welcome gift of potatos waiting for us. I would highly reccommend this property to anyone of any age. Beautiful home with a beautiful view"

- "We really enjoyed this property, it is a nice country cabin and much more spacious than is depicted in the pictures. The owners did clearly communicate that the property has stairs for those with mobility issues, so we were not surprised, however if you are considering staying here, you should know that there is not a shower on the main floor (there is a nice whirlpool tub). We had our grandmother staying with us and she has limited mobility, so it was challenging for her to get in the tub and not be able to access the shower. Having said that, it was clearly communicated, so just keep that in mind if you have any people in your party who have mobility issues. Other than that one issue, the property was idyllic, the home was warm and comforable and the layout was great for a family getaway!"

- "The property was beautiful easy in & out very peaceful" - "We immediately felt the tranquility and privacy of Juniper Island as we crossed the bridge. There is something for everyone here. The inside/outside of this property is so tastefully decorated. Definitely gives off that "WOW" factor around every corner. The grounds were impeccably clean from the mowed yard and trail to the outdoor furniture and all of the gorgeous potted fresh flowers truly emitting a sense of pride of ownership. The seemingly little touches throughout made a BIG and impactful impression! The spaciousness of this home provided comforts beyond expectation. The cleanliness level was off the charts. The kitchen was abundantly stocked. We appreciated all of the seating around the island and that huge sun-lit dining room. Having two refrigerators at our disposal was great! The floorplan of this home is awesome. The beds were all very comfortable and all linens, towels, blankets etc provided for the guests were neatly organized. Lauranna was a delight to communicate with. She was cheerful and helpful with any inquiry I had. During our stay, there was only one issue that I needed to contact her about. It was promptly addressed and resolved within a couple of hours. I feel the bottom line with any review is simple. Would you or would you not likely ever return? Without hesitation, my answer is a resounding "LOVE and HOPE to return". Thanks for providing such wonderful & lasting memories of our Idaho vacation. Sincerely, Sandy Rausch and family"

Fed ducks by hand after a while. Never fed the fish by hand. Found a quiet place in the tree house to read. Warm days, cool nights. (Odd, no humidity) The pool table was rarely empty. Great for TX & MN kids to be with each other. This is a guy's review, simple and short. The gals would run for pages about the benefits of a large family reunion in an ideal location. Other things to note
*The cabin is located right next to the corral where our horses are kept during the day. You may pet the horses from behind the gates and fences. Guests are not allowed in the corral for your own safety.
There closest grocery store is the Swan Valley General Store, located 10 minutes to the East of the ranch. Swan Valley also has 2 restaurants.
*Verizon cellular service works best at the ranch. Other cellular service providers usually do not work at the ranch base but can be accessed at the highway two miles away.
*There are no laundromat facilities on-site. There is a coin-operated laundromat called D&L Laundromat located 32 miles West of the ranch in a town called Rigby.
*Even when hot during the day, we are in the mountains and it can get quite chilly at night. There are extra blankets in the drawers in the cabins. There is also an electric heater. Sitting around the warm campfire at night actually makes these cooler nights enjoyable! We have camping chairs and benches, plenty of room to sit and relax! We provide hot-dog roasting sticks, so it is also fun to cook hot-dogs or s'mores.
*We have a NO PET POLICY. We have ranch dogs who love attention. However, many guests are allergic so please don't let them in the cabin or other buildings.
*Do NOT use APPLE GPS, it will take you several miles away. Our address is 2086 Swan Valley Heighway, ID 83443. The best way to ensure you are at the right location is to look for mile marker 368. Our road entrance is within a couple hundred feet of it. There is a small typical green street sign that says GRANITE CRK. Our ranch is two miles in on this gravel road where it is a dead end. You will pass Aspen Hills Retreat on your left as you drive in. Keep driving past this another 1.5 miles.
In a heavy rain the road can be muddy; drive slowly and carefully and you should be fine. Your cabin is the North most cabin, above the door it has a sign, "CORRAL CABIN". There is room to park and unload your luggage in the space right next to your cabin.
For the rest of your stay, we prefer you park in our general parking area, due to the access we often need to the corral and shop nearby.
Our cabins are fed with water from a natural spring by gravity flow. The water pressure may be low at times if many people are showering and bathing at the same time.
