Mountain cabin in beautiful Swan Valley. Private mountain retreat on 45 acres with stunning valley, Snake River, and partial Teton views. One hour drive to Jackson Hole. Minutes from fishing on the famous South Fork of the Snake River. The cabin has garage on the main floor and living space above. There is a long set of stairs to reach the living space.

Ski at world famous Jackson hole and Grand Targhee resorts or local Kelly Canyon ski resort. All within an hour drive.

Many outdoor activities near by. There are some great hikes in the area. Palisades Creek trail head is only 10 miles away. It is a great trail with a gradual 4 mile hike to the lower lake or 7 mile hike to the stunning upper Palisades lake(not to be confused with Palisades reservoir). The Table Rock hike just outside of Driggs is a strenuous 7 mile hike right to the back of the Tetons. The close up views of the Tetons from the top of Table Rock are absolutely breath taking. The short Rainey Creek trail is great for kids. It is a mostly flat 2 mile round trip hike.

This newly constructed house is perfect for up to 5 guests. Near the heart of beautiful Idaho Falls, this one-bedroom tiny home is close to local restaurants, the Mountain America Event Center, the waterfall on the Snake River, and several recreational activities. If your plans include visiting Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Island Park, Heise Hot Springs, or Lava Hot Springs, we are close enough for a day trip.

THE SPACE
Nestled within a quiet cul de sac, this home is tiny but mighty! As you enter the front door, the small living room is furnished with a couch facing a 42” flatscreen TV to relax and enjoy time with family or friends. The kitchen is nearby with a small dining table, bench, and chairs. The one bathroom is just off the kitchen with a full bath and vanity. The stairs near the front entrance lead to a queen bed to the right, which faces a 42” flatscreen TV. There are two twin beds to the left and a small sleeping nook above the stairs that we call the “dog house”. Please keep in mind it’s a tiny house. While the house sits on it’s own city lot, the interior space is small. If space and privacy are important to you, this may not be the best fit.

The only thing that we couldn’t fit into our tiny house is a dishwasher.

Window unit air conditioners, silverware, stock pot, glasses, plates, bowls, mini casserole pan, tiny cookie sheet, kitchen knives, cutting board, serving spoons, manual can opener, kitchen utensils, measuring cups, mugs, coffee pot, mini toaster and mini waffle maker. Kitchen towels, dishcloths, hair blow dryer, bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and small bath soap. Oh, and did we mention that we just added a hot tub to the back patio?

You’ll have access to the entire home including a back patio. The garage is for storage and host use only. In an effort to maintain a secure premises, the tiny home is equipped with a doorbell camera. The one camera is only on the exterior and there are no cameras on the inside of the house.

We enjoyed our stay at this place, it was very clean, smelt good and had all the amenities we needed. They put out some snacks for us (free of charge) which were amazing as we came in starving after son's baseball games. These snacks held us over until we were able to get dinner. - "My husband and I wanted a place centrally located to Yellowstone and Grand Teton national Parks. We chose this location for that reason. As we pulled up to the location it was nestled among some off the beaten path businesses near a railroad track. We were a little skeptical at first. As we entered the rental (VRBO) we were surprised at its interior decor! Nice beams and exposed brick on the interior! There are 2 air-conditioning units that cool the rental, one in each bedroom. We are used to central heat and air and these air conditioners are fairly loud! However, they did keep the rental cool! Overall the place was clean with the exception of the blinds in the living room were very dusty (not a huge deal breaker but picky people with allergies would mind)! There was a few pieces of food particles near the garage can left over from previous tenants. The host was quick to answer my questions and provided good recommendations on restaurants and the best way to access Yellowstone from where we were staying. This rental is an unexpected gem in a not so desirable location (your view out the living room window is of a gravel parking lot and railroad tracks) but is reasonably priced, and centrally located for visiting national parks in the area! Also, there is a washer and dryer on the property which is a real plus to not have all the dirty clothes when you get back home, tired from a vacation! Overall, pleased and would stay there again!"

- "Given the low price, I was a little nervous about what we would find. The house is very old, and is a work in progress, but we loved that it felt like going to grandma’s house. The breakfast nook in the kitchen was such a cute space and the sun room and covered patio out back would be amazing in the summer. The appliances were nice and new and would be great for cooking for lots of people. We just needed a place to sleep, so I didn’t even look at the amenities. I was surprised to see a double oven. Our son was shocked that there wasn’t a TV. The beds were clean and comfortable and had various levels of firmness. The decor is eclectic and the furnishings are sparse. The kitchen and bathroom had lots of stuff in them, like someone lived there. If you are looking for a hotel feel this place isn’t for you. If you are looking for comfortable space that doesn’t break the bank you found a winner. We would definitely stay here again. The host was great and made sure we had everything we needed."

During your stay
We will be able to help throughout the entire stay or can leave you alone the entire time whichever you prefer!

This bedroom (#2) is one of three rooms adjacent to our family room we rent out in our walk-out basement. The room has a single size bed, desk, desk light, chair and closet. There are two full baths and a kitchen (only shared with other guests), as well as a living area (family room) in the basement (shared with other guests and us). We are a family with two young children and 3 cats also living in the house. The family office is in the basement and kids frequently play in the basement as well.

The space
Bathrooms, kitchen and your room are cleaned and bed linen changed every 2 weeks (included in price).
You can use the washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, projector and sound system in the living area (bring your own laptop to connect) as well as the backyard patio with BBQ right outside the walk-out basement doors. There is ample parking on the premises.
Everyday noises in the house, such as walking or playing might make our place somewhat inconvenient for night shift workers that need to sleep during the day.

Guest access
The walk-out basement, where the bedroom is located has a separate entrance. Go in and out without having to walk through the main entrance upstairs.

During your stay
We are a young family with two young children living in the house. Either one of us will be there to greet you upon your arrival. We also enjoy occasional conversations with our guests.

Other things to note
Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks are in our back yard. West Yellowstone or Jackson Hole are less than a 2 hour drive away. We can help with any questions to plan your trip.

Our Buffalo Bill cabin is inspired by one of the most famous and well-know figures of the American Old West. This cabin sleeps two in a queen size bed. We are in a quiet neighborhood near the airport, Salt Lake Express depot, & the exit from I15 to Hwy 20 which leads to Yellowstone. Also 3 miles from new convention center. Close to shopping, restaurants, soccer fields, down town, & the beautiful Snake River. We give the guests their space. Kitchen is NOT part of the rental, but microwave and fridge available upon request. Our house is on a corner. I have the address on both sides of mail box and on two places by the door.

The space
It is a split entry so there are a few stairs. The bathroom is in the same hall as the bedroom. We are on a corner so there is room on the side street for large or long trucks, U hauls, etc.

You will have access to the front door, stairs, hallway, bathroom, and your bedroom and laundry room is needed.

Come relax and get away at Mountain River Ranch! We offer family oriented ranch style camping. Our Lone Wolf Cabin sleeps up to 2 people in a soft and clean full bed.

Located in Rock Bottom Springs, the Lone Wolf room includes electricity, bedding and towels for two guests.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located home away from home. This clean, quiet, and privet room, in a stand alone house, is perfect for your get away. The room is equipped with a small refrigerator and microwave for your convince. Only a few minutes away from the movie theater, restaurants and shopping mall, but far enough away as to not hear all of the hustle and bustle of the town.

The kitchenette, living room and dining room are considered 'public' spaces (shared with the hosts), but you'll mostly have exclusive access to it without any interruption. There's about 1,500 sq feet in this area.

There's a baby crib (pack 'n play) that we can setup in the bedroom. An air mattress is available and can be used in either the private bedroom or the shared living room area (semi-private, but shared with host).

You have a separate entrance and your own driveway where you can park if desired.

The table in the dining area seats 6 and can double as a workspace. Fiber high speed internet (1000 mbps) is available for those of you who work a little bit on your time away.
