This gorgeous cabin sits on 40 acres of land along with 2 other cabins and the owners home. All cabins are in the same proximity but each cabin has their own space and privacy. It is located 7.7 miles outside of the town of West Yellowstone, MT. It is approximately 1500 square feet and has a large, bedroom on the main level with a king bed. This beautiful cabin is an open concept floor plan with large front windows that look out into the forest. Upstairs in the loft, there are 2 queen bunk bed sets that have a queen bed on the top and a queen on the bottom. There are bathrooms on both levels so everyone will have plenty of space to get ready. The bathroom on the main level has a bathtub shower combo and the bathroom in the loft area has a stand up shower only. There is a desk area for working on your laptop as well as a laundry area. This cabin is also an excellent choice for snowmobilers in the winter months as there is plenty of space to park your trailers and you can leave right from our property onto the main snowmobile trails to Lion's Head and Two Top

- "Loved this little cabin! Was great location for all the 4th of July festivities and great proximity to hike Yellowstone, Raft and Zipline. Super clean and perfect size for a couple or small family." - "Having seized the opportunity to visit Yellowstone for Fall Break, I spent a few days looking at the plethora of listings for cabins in the West Yellowstone area. I ended up choosing #130 Slough Creek Cabin (2 bed, 1 bath). I was surprised by the convenience of the large mud room, at the entrance. Overall the experience was good, if not very good! It appeared as though daily the unit was checked by management, used towels were replaced. The location is good. The internet was sufficient for updating social media status, and uploading videos and photography captured while driving the nearby national park. Also as one of whom is afflicted with asthma and allergies to pets, this was an ideal place to stay. Their rooms are non-smoking and pet free. I look forward to renting again in the future. (Please note that guests are responsible for cleaning a unit before checkout, else you will likely be charged an excessively hefty cleaning fee. Also note, that if you fail to checkout by 10:00 AM you may be assessed a $100/hr late checkout fee. Consider yourselves advised.) Also note, that VRBO provides no actual service despite charging a booking fee. You are still responsible to call the Faithful Street Inn, make the reservation, fill out the rental agreement and either fax or mail it to the Inn. My only regret was not booking with the Inn via their website instead of using this service which really just appears to scrape data from their website. I would also like to point out that the unit have programmable electronic door locks, it was my observation that each morning the locks would unlock automatically. So unless you locked the deadbolt, anyone could walk into your cabin."

Yellowstone and Island Park, ID. Or only 2 blocks away the entrance to the famous Rendezvous Cross-country ski trails if that is more to your taste.

Less than a block away is a trail system for hiking, biking, 4-wheeling and also snowmobiling in winter.

Our rustic cabin is conveniently located 7 miles from West Yellowstone and the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The cabin borders national forest property and there is a good chance you will see wildlife. There are plenty of activities to enjoy and keep you busy within walking distance of the cabin (season and weather permitting.)
These include a rodeo, horse and wagon rides, hiking, a private pond for fishing, and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows! The rodeo and horse rides run from mid June to mid August.

The West Gate of Yellowstone National park will be closed from March 15th to April 21st 2023 to prepare for the summer season. The West Gate will then remain open for the summer season from April 21st until November 1st 2023. The West Gate is scheduled to reopen December 15 2023 for the over snow season. Please note these dates are subject to change, please confirm your travel details prior to your arrival.

Nestled in the trees 8 miles outside Yellowstone National Park, Glens Cabin is the perfect mini home base for your Montana vacation. This 250 square foot log cabin has a king size bed, bathroom with shower and amazing decks to take in the beautiful views in every direction. The mini kitchen has a sink, dishes, utensils, coffee maker, and toaster oven and there is a table with 2 two chairs for inside dining or working, as well as an outdoor table and chairs and two adirondack chairs on the deck. There is satellite TV from DirecTV for your enjoyment. However, due to the location, the WiFi is not great. It is truly a spot to unplug from the hustle and bustle of life! If you are in need of more space, you can also rent the adjacent Moose Tracks house that sleeps an additional 6 people.

Just 7 miles from West Yellowstone's entrance to Yellowstone National Park, with stunning views of Lionhead Mountain and the Continental Divide. Red Cedar Cabin: This lodge has five bedrooms and five baths. The main level has two bedrooms, each with a king size bed. One bedroom has an en suite bath with shower, and there is an additional bathroom for the second bedroom to use as well. The upper level has three bedrooms, two with king size beds and en suite baths with showers, and one with three twin beds. This twin bedroom uses a bath with shower that's just out in the hall so each room has its own bathroom. Lastly, there is an additional sleeping alcove (no door) with a twin bed just off the main level sitting room. There is additional sleeping on two roll away cots and the home also comes equipped with portable cribs. The kitchen in this home is a great kitchen for a crowd as it opens to the bar, the dining area, and the foyer. It's equipped with all the appliances, a gas range, tons of serving and picnic ware, and lots of small appliance extras like a crock pot, two coffee pots, and a blender. The large dining table seats twelve comfortably and the bar accommodates another four. There's also plenty of seating for enjoying outdoor meals out on the covered porch and on the picnic table in the back yard. For outdoor cooking, the home has two barbecue grills on the back deck. The cozy living room, which is on the upper level, has a gas fireplace, a flat screen HD TV with satellite service, and comfy seating. Yellowstone National Park Closures.

The West Gate of Yellowstone National park will be closed from March 15th to April 21st 2023 to prepare for the summer season. The West Gate will then remain open for the summer season from April 21st until November 1st 2023. The West Gate is scheduled to reopen on December 15 2023 for the over snow season. Please note these dates are subject to change, please confirm your travel details prior to your arrival.

The scenery looking off the back patch is breathtaking. This is a very unique location... you get the peaceful beauty of West Yellowstone without having to be in the crowds of people you would experience by staying in town.
This cabin has a shared garage with another separate cabin on the other side of the garage with separate renters.
Although the beds will sleep 13, 15 including the livingroom futon, I have listed that our cabin will accomodate 8 because we only have two bathrooms and it's not a large cabin. You can read the reviews to understand the beauty of Duck Creek. But expect an older cabin that will be spotless.

Other things to note
If you have the opportunity, I would plan on doing grocery shopping at Costco or Walmart, either in Idaho Falls or Bozeman (depending on what direction you are coming in from).
West Yellowstone is such a cool little town, and well worth the time to check out all the cool little shops.
But you will pay about three times the cost for groceries at the two grocery stores in town.
*If you are visiting us during the summer months please bring plenty of mosquito repellent. They are out the most in the early morning and again as the sun is setting. But I would advise wearing it all the time. : )

Set at the top of a hill, surrounded with pristine, non-commercial land and gorgeous Montana skies and landscape! Just 7 miles from West Yellowstone and the West entrance to Yellowstone Park, and 1 mile from beautiful Hebgen Lake.

Get up early and you may be lucky enough to see elk, buffalo or deer depending on the time of year. What you WON'T see are other tourists. This is a private, quiet place...comfortable, clean and roomy, with quick and easy access.

In Spring and Summer you are surrounded with fields of wildflowers. You'll enjoy beautiful, unspoiled landscape on a walk or jog to Hebgen Lake. There are unlimited trails for hiking (never go alone, this is bear country).

If you are looking for the latest in interior design and finish, look elsewhere. But if you want a great place to build family relationships, this is it! This is our 4th year with Airbnb, and we've been told by others that, bar none, this was the best family vacation they have ever enjoyed.

If you are interested in a winter vacation, please contact us with a date you are interested in. This requires experience with using a wood stove and expertise with snowmobiles, so is not for the casual tourist. We will need to pre-approve you for a winter stay. But, WOW. What a prime place for a winter vacation! Snowmobiling and cross-country skiing galore :).

Yellowstone National Park Closures

The West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park is open seasonally. The summer season typically runs from the 3rd Saturday in April until November 1st. The West Entrance then closes from November 1st until Mid-December. The entrance then reopens for the winter for oversnow travel season. The oversnow season typically runs from Mid-December until Mid-March. The entrance closes again until the opening day of the summer season in April. These dates are subject to change, please confirm park operating dates prior to booking your stay.

The West Gate of Yellowstone National park will be closed from March 15th to April 21st 2023 to prepare for the summer season. The West Gate will then remain open for the summer season from April 21st until November 1st 2023. The West Gate is scheduled to reopen Dec.15th for the over snow season. Take it easy and escape to our cozy cabin! Come enjoy the true outdoor experience here at Buttermilk Country Cabins! Located just 7.7 miles from the West entrance to Yellowstone. This cabin sits on a private 40+ acre ranch. Owner's home is conveniently located closely nearby and another, previously built cabin that is rented as well. There is a rodeo and horse rides on the property every summer from mid June until mid August. Calendar for rodeo dates this season is provided below.

This cabin sits back on the property along with the owner's home and 2 other rental cabins. They are all in the same general area but there is also enough space between the cabins to where you feel like you have privacy. There is a bedroom with the King bed in it and then the sofa sleeper is located in the living room.

Welcome to our brand-new rentals in West Yellowstone, just 1.3 miles from the park entrance and minutes from dining and entertainment, and shopping. This is a large one-bedroom cabin with a foyer, porch and a dedicated outdoor area. This is the first year it's being offered on Airbnb. There is all new furniture and lots of upgrades. The couch in the living room opens into a bed.

This home consists of a one-bedroom, kitchen, and a large living room with a couch that converts ot a bed. All amenities and toiletries are provided for your convenience. It has 750 sq ft of living space, including 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Laundry Closet with stacked washer/dryer, Large Open Family Room/Dining Room, Kitchen plus over 300 sq ft of covered side and front porches to enjoy the beautiful outdoors! This cabin is ideally suited to accommodate two adults with two to four children.

Decorated in a rustic mountain cabin theme with both new and antique furniture, fixtures and household items, the cabin features circle-sawn Douglas Fir flooring with knife-drawn edges, reclaimed barnwood wainscoting, knotty pine walls/and ceiling, wood burning stove, large windows throughout to enjoy the mountain and forest views, covered front and side porches, etc. And don't let the size fool you - this is a VERY comfortable open-spaced cabin with some of the best mountain views in the area!

Just five blocks from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park, enjoy your Montana vacation in a cozy classic log cabin restored in 2013. YCC Cabin has two bedrooms with double beds that share a full bathroom with enclosed shower and toilet plus separate granite vanity and log counter. The second full bathroom is equipped with toilet, sink, and tub with vintage style hand held shower. The living room has a custom built full size bed. A ladder from the great room accesses the semi-private loft where two twin beds are nestled. A combination of vintage and modern appliances provide convenience with mid 20th century charm. The kitchen is equipped with a range, oven, sink, refrigerator, dishwasher and is furnished with cooking and dining ware. The dining table seats 6, and a rustic log slab bar provides 2 bar stools for additional people or is a great place to use as a workspace. Aspen Lodge is a five minute drive to Yellowstone National Park, restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping in downtown West Yellowstone. Don’t waste precious hours of your vacation driving from Island Park or farther, stay in town! You’ll love our place because of the location, the high ceilings, the kitchen, laundry, new beds, wifi, satellite TV, and seclusion. This is a private home. Aspen Lodge is great for travelers of all types including couples, solo adventurers, and families.

Please note from the pictures that the house has an open layout. Both bedrooms are on the upper level. The larger room has a log-frame queen bed and the room at the top of the stairs has a double bed. From the larger room, you may look over a retaining wall to see the living room on the lower level. From the lower level, you cannot see into the bedrooms but conversations could likely be overheard. This house is great for families and close friends, but may not be ideal if total privacy is a priority. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions!

Our cabin is located on a hill of 20 acres of gorgeous grass and wildflowers. We are one mile from Hebgen Lake where you can enjoy boating, fishing, water skiing and swimming. The cabin is 10 miles west of West Yellowstone, Montana where grocery stores, souvenir shops, and many restaurants are located and the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The cabin is accessible by paved roads on Hwy 20 and Denny Creek Road. The gravel 1/4 mile road to our cabin is accessible by car, pickup, SUV.

The space
The main floor consists of a large living room and windows facing YNP. The room contains a couch, 3 easy chairs, a rocking chair and a propane fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with full size fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, pots and pans and dishes etc. There is also a gas BBQ on the deck. There is a bar with seating for 3 and a dining room table for 8. The screened in deck has a couch swing and several easy chairs. The MB is on the main level with a king size bed, office area, large closet and full size bathroom with walk in shower. There is also a half bath on main level with washer and dryer available for your use. Upstairs is a bedroom with dresser, closet and queen bed. The other bedroom has two sets of bunk beds, dresser and closet. The loft has a pull out double couch bed, tv, and comfortable seating.

You are welcome to use the entire living spaces of the cabin. We have an unfinished basement but not suitable for habitation. Please drive vehicles on road leading up to and around cabin. Park cars in front of propane tank area.

This is the ranch cabin grandpa, my father and other family members hand built in 1949
on grandpa's summer cattle range. It has been restored to be usable both summer and winter. Before you book it for winter, please review this listing carefully for special winter conditions and rules.

We are 8 miles from Yellowstone Park, 1.5 from Hebgen Lake, away from city noise and lights, next to national forest land.

What you lose in convenience you will gain in the incredibly beautiful winter surroundings. The cabin is accessible only by snowmobile so you need to carry things in and out. If you love snowmobiling enough to clean up the cabin, change the bedding (there is a washer/dryer there) and haul out the trash when you leave, this is for you. There are hundreds of miles of trails and roads in the area.

If you don't own snowmobiles, you can rent them in West Yellowstone. There is some public parking for cars and snowmobile trailers at the main highway, but it is not always plowed, so we recommend you make arrangements for parking your cars in West Yellowstone. It is unique enough that you will never forget it!

White Peak Cabin offers some of the best duck, geese, and osprey viewing you could imagine. Your view is framed by the rustic lodge pole pines and the majestic mountains of Yellowstone Park. Truly a picturesque view like no other.

Looking for a romantic evening? Enjoy a short drive to Old Faithful Inn, in Yellowstone Park, for dinner and wildlife viewing on your way home. Now how often can you do that? Reservations are recommended.

We require our guests to sign a rental agreement prior to their stay. We use the DocuSign platform to manage our agreements, so an email address will be required. The contract states the guest will abide by the house rules and that if damage occurs to the property, the owner will be reimbursed up to $1,500. The agreement, door code, and map showing our home location will be emailed prior to your stay.

Our home is professionally cleaned and the linens professionally laundered. We ask that the guests remove all garbage and place in the bin located on the side of the road and wash all kitchen ware that may have been used.

The “Lost Mine at Denny Creek” is a cabin available during the Summer months from approximately the first part of June until the middle of September. The cabin is sitting on three acres in an open meadow nine miles from the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park.
It is surrounded by majestic views of open fields and pine covered mountains.
After ascending the stairs to the large covered deck, you enter into a spacious great room with vaulted ceilings in a surround of large windows.

The space
The space is the entire upper floor of the cabin approximately 1500 sq ft. Access to a full kitchen including a dining table which accomodates six to eight people comfortably. A large spacious great room, one large bathroom, full laundry,three bedrooms with two queen and one king size beds. Large covered deck with barbecue. Private entrance and parking. The cabin is in a rural area spotted with about a dozen neighboring cabins each sitting on at least three to five acres. Paved roads lead the way to the The Lost Mine at Denny Creek until the last mile which is gravel.
