- "I recently had the pleasure of staying at a fantastic property that truly exceeded my expectations. The place was spotless and well-maintained, which made for a very comfortable stay. The location couldn't have been better—just 5 minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance, making it incredibly convenient for visiting the park. What really stood out was the owner's hospitality. They were very accommodating, allowing us to check in early and check out late, which made our trip that much smoother and more enjoyable. Traveling with a family of five, including young kids, can be challenging, but this property made it easy for us to relax and have fun. The town itself is charming, with a variety of great restaurants and plenty of activities for the kids. It’s a wonderful spot for families and anyone looking to explore the area. If I get the chance to visit again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here. Highly recommended!"

Yellowstone National Park has been a top tourist destination since its opening in 1872. And your WorldMark West Yellowstone is the perfect location for seeing the park's hundreds of geysers (including the world-famous Old Faithful), pools of boiling mud, and an amazing assembly of wildlife, such as bears, wolves, bison, and elk. Yellowstone's west entrance is just one block from your resort.
While the national park is certainly its top draw, West Yellowstone (pop. 1,177) is also an ideal location for skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. The area's backcountry and telemark skiing is considered tops in the nation. You can also discover the town's gift shops, galleries, and specialty stores, and take in a show at the Playmill Theatre downtown.
For inquisitive minds, there are two museums that should not be missed. History buffs should head to the Museum of the Yellowstone, which depicts the area's early days. And The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center-right across the street from your resort-gives you the chance to learn about these animals up close and personal.

- "Great place to stay, super friendly staff." - "We had a great stay! The condo was spacious for our family of 4 quiet, and clean. The front desk was very helpful and check-in and out was very convenient. Perfect location to park our snowmobile trailer and ride right from the parking lot. We will return for sure!" - "We’d planned to participate in the Nordic ski week (thanksgiving week), but low snow meant it was cancelled. My family went anyway and did some skiing. We brought groceries and found the kitchen to be well equipped for basic cooking. We’re a tea drinking/pour over coffee group so we missed having a tea kettle for water. We are used to sleeping under multiple blankets at home and missed having an extra blanket to throw on the bed. But otherwise fantastic stay! Plenty of room for 2 adults + our 19 and 16 yr old daughters."

- "Our group all really enjoyed our stay and commented on how we'd recommend it to friends visiting from out of town in the future. It was super easy to check in, very friendly front desk staff. I don't think we realized how "hotel-like" it was going to be when we booked but were pleasantly surprised with everything. Felt very new and clean, plenty of space and beds and affordable for how much space we had." - "Great location! We really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again. - "It was nicer than I expected. I usually like to have an entire house to myself and not be in a hotel room or apartment like area. But this was one of the nicest places I've stayed. And I thoroughly enjoyed its location with the swimming pool and game room. We'll definitely stay again." - "We really liked Annie at the front desk. Very nice girl." - "We will be staying here again." - "My friends had a wonderful time in the lodging. I had to miss due to being ill, but the communication with the host was easy and she actually called me to confirm the updates to the reservation. I hope we get to rent a space Jan organizes in the future. All VRBO stays should work like this!"

- "Great stay, Jan responded quickly to a potential schedule change due to weather that didn't end up coming to fruition." - "We spent Christmas here and it was so enjoyable! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the necessities. It was just the right size for our family of 4!! We will stay here again." - "We had a little bit of a mixup when we tried to check in, but the lodge staff was very accommodating and helpful and Jan was very quick to resolve things by morning. The pool was great fun, the lodge has a game room and the front desk has games you can check out, so we had a great time just hanging out and watching the snow. Lodge staff is also really great at snow removal and took the time to dig out around our car in addition to keeping the parking lot shoveled. Which was quite the chore, because it snowed over a foot in the few days we were there. The lodge is also located right across the street from the bear and wolf discovery center, which means you can crack open the windows at night and listen to the wolves howl. Which I thought was very cool. We were also nearly stranded on the way home with road closures due to snow and Jan was very willing to work with us in case we needed to check back in and extend our stay. We appreciated that."

West Yellowstone is located one block from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park - a top tourist destination since its opening in 1872. Enjoy nature and wildlife watching. Known for its geothermal activity, sights like boiling mud, the towering geyser of Old Faithful and unworldly mineral formations at Mammoth Hot Springs are some of the most popular. Other highlights include The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, Museum of the Yellowstone and eclectic shopping at Homeroom at Madison Crossing. In warm weather, visitors explore on foot, by car, four wheeler, horseback, or mountain bike. In the winter, snowmobiles and snowshoes are essential.
The world's first national park is more than just a place - it's a symbol of respect for the bountiful land that made our nation possible. At 3,472 miles across three states, it's bigger than Delaware and Rhode Island combined! Wildlife watching in Lamar Valley is another famous pastime, as the park teems with grizzly bears, soaring eagles, packs of wolves and herds of bison and elk.
There's nothing better than relaxing between mountain adventures, especially with so many top resort amenities waiting for you at the day's end. Because West Yellowstone gets quite cold, our heated pool and 2 hot tubs are located indoors, allowing them to remain open all year. There's also a game room, recreation center, basketball court and expansive state-of-the-art fitness center, so you can stay active, even when you're not exploring the park.
West Yellowstone features spacious one- and two-bedroom resort suites that comfortably sleep four to six guests and include a king bed in the master, one queen or two twin beds in the guest room and a queen Murphy bed in the living area. You will appreciate the privacy of separate bedrooms, a full kitchen, and the convenience of a washer/dryer in each suite. Plus, separate dining/living areas, a cozy fireplace for chilly nights and TVs throughout are comforts that would be hard to find in an average hotel.

- "Amazing stay! we had a great time despite the weather. Large kitchen, very friendly staff!" - "We had a great stay at your property. Great facility, location and beautiful condo. We only had two small issues. There were 6 in our party but condo slept 8. The kitchen cookware was meant for 2-4. Only small pans which made it a bit challenging to cook for 6 adults. 4 men, 2 women. Same applies with living room seating. Small couch and 2 chairs. Other than that, we had a fabulous time. Front desk staff was great."

Helpful Hints: Please review park "Gate & Road Closures at Yellowstone National Park" prior to booking West Yellowstone.

Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone, America's and the world's first national park, is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. Within its 3,472 square miles are the geyser Old Faithful, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, hundreds of geysers and hot springs, and abundant wildlife.
The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center
A not-for-profit wildlife park and educational facility, the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center has eight grizzly bears, two packs of gray wolves, and six birds of prey that are all unable to live in the wild for different reasons. Learn about the animals through exhibits, as well as by observing them.
Museum of the Yellowstone
Housed in the historic Union Pacific Depot, exhibits on the U.S. Cavalry, trappers, cowboys, and Native Americans show the area's early days. Displays and videos about the region's largest earthquake in 1959, and devastating fires in 1988 tell a darker story. The museum is open Memorial Day through Labor Day.

- "We were in town for a Nordic ski race. Location was close to the Rendezvous trailhead. Also right by the entrance to Yellowstone Park where you can ski in the main road or beautiful Riverside trail." - "Booked mostly because we wanted a room for a large family (8adults, 2 children) with a pool for the weekend. Upon check-in we were told the pool and hot tub were closed because of fear of roof collapsing, because of snow. Really? A bldg in West Yellowstone, MT not built for snow loads?? Frustrated that we had to load up go to other hotels to use their pools, especially with a 7 mos. old and handicapped adult in our group. But the establishment itself was clean, staff was nice, and even the Murphy bed was comfortable. The seating in the living room area wasn’t enough for a condo that sleeps 8, and neither was it comfortable. But we made it work. One instance was a bit disappointing; on first night, son and wife had fussy baby at midnight. They took baby out of room to walk her to quiet her so as not to wake the rest of us. So they went down to the activity room, which was empty and away from other rooms. However, the lady who was on the night shift, told them they couldn’t stay there, and made them go into the lounge on the 2nd floor. When DIL discovered they didn’t have a room key, she went and asked the front desk if they could get another one. The lady refused, said they needed ID, which of course they hadn’t taken with them. It’s midnight!! DIL gave her their names (which I’d had to write down the names of all occupants in our room at time of check in) but lady refused to look it up, and said she would escort them to the room to get their ID. The whole reason to get another key was so they wouldn’t have to wake any of the others to get back in the room. This lady acted like they had just walked in from the street and were up to no good. DIL had to text me to slide a key under the door. She was furious with the front desk. But despite this and the pool situation, our family made the most of it and enjoyed our stay."

- "Property was as-advertised. Very comfortable and clean, amazing location if accessing the Rendezvous trails to ski - just a short stroll to the trailhead. On site facilities in good shape, staff very friendly and helpful. Kitchen had all the necessities to cook, eat, and clean but nothing extra - could be a bit better appointed eg sponge, more than 4 dinner forks, etc. That being said would definitely stay here again, no question."

- "WestMark by Wyndham property which has full kitchen, living space, great beds and perfect location. We had stayed here for multiple nights at the start of our vacation and loved it so much we decided to stay again at the end after a few nights in between in Jackson visiting Grand Tetons NP. #1 requirement for us was having a full size refrigerator/freezer to be able to freeze our ice packs for the day in the park, and also space to be able to arrange breakfast ourselves each morning. This property is amazing. The condos are so spacious, incredibly comfortable beds, absolutely spotless, fully stocked kitchen. Kids loved the games room (open until 10pm I think) which had table tennis, foosball, air hockey, a many in one video game with Miss PAC Man etc. Didn't get to use it but has indoor pool, outdoor playground and basketball court. Also didn't get to use it but had grilling stations in the outdoor area. We had thought about staying inside the park for some nights, but was so nice to come home to 'luxury' after spending the day exploring. We drove home in the dark through the park each night to max our time and it worked out fine. Every night ended up in a small convoy of cars leaving in the dark and just took it easy. Wouldn't change a thing. Awesome place!"

- "We had a great time staying here. We had enough room for everyone and had a ball in the pool playing basketball. We were all sore. We went snowmobiling during the day and sat in the hot tub at night. We had a great time. Only suggestion is to put ice cube trays in the freezer so we could’ve had ice. Very clean and pretty quiet considering how big the place is. Highly recommended."

- "We absolutely LOVED our trip and experience in West Yellowstone. Being right next to the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center was wonderful. Also, being so close to the West entrance into Yellowstone was outstanding. The condo was AWESOME. So clean and had everything we needed. The beds and pillows were comfortable and it was so neat to have a fireplace especially when it was snowing. My sons (12 and 9 years old) loved having a heated pool with basketball hoops and basketballs. My husband and I really enjoyed the hot tubs. For some reason, my 9 year old got cuts on the bottom of his feet in the pool, but not the rest of us. That was the only downside, but that was not any fault of the owners of the condo. I highly, HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone!! Great job! And, thank you for a lifetime of memories!!"

- "Overall it was a nice place. Kitchen faucet needed tightened down. Heat in bedroom never seemed to adjust correctly and was too warm (if that's a problem). Water tasted great which is really nice. Upstairs occupants were too loud and called the desk to get it resolved. The room phone needs repaired, it calls out but they can't hear you and at 0200 in the morning that's frustrating. Would be nice to let renters know there are electrical outlets outside to plug in cars/trucks as it was -29 this morning and the truck would not start. Front desk people were nice. Front room TV could be larger for the room size. Murphy bed was very comfortable, a variety of pillow comfort levels would be nice. Everything was clean."

Worldmark West Yellowstone is one block from the park entrance. It's the perfect location for viewing the parks hundreds of geysers and abundant wildlife. Experience world class fly fishing in the area's many streams where you can still land trophy size trout.
Yellowstone National Park has been a top tourist destination since it's opening in 1872. Visit the two museums in town. One is the Museum of the Yellowstone which depicts the area's early days. The other is The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center ( right across the street from your resort ) and learn about these animals up close and personal.
The unit is a two bedroom two bath with a king in the master and twins in the second bedroom. It may be possible to get a queen in the second bedroom if one is available. It has a queen murphy bed in the living area. It has a full kitchen and dining area.
Worldmark Yellowstone has an indoor pool, a children's pool, two hot tubs, a fitness center, recreation center, business center and a barbeque area. The resort also offers a large parking area with room to accommodate RVs and trailers.
Worldmark West Yellowstone is perfect for experiencing the park.
- "There were four adults and two children (ages 3 & 8) during our stay. We had plenty of room to relax after a day at the park between the two bed rooms, living room and deck. Everything in the room was nice and clean. Staff we're helpful and welcoming. The family enjoyed the pool and the kids enjoyed the playground and basketball courts. Located in West Yellowstone, it's convenient to the park, shops, restaurants and Grizzly Discovery center, but it's back a side street so it's nice and quiet. We highly recommend!"
