Welcome to our home in Eden! This beautifully remodeled A-Frame nestled in the foothills of Eden is within miles of Nordic Valley Ski Resort, Pineview Reservoir, and the lovely town of Eden. With modern furnishings, a well-stocked kitchen with upscale appliances, and plenty of space to relax, this cozy two story 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin is the perfect place to get away from the city with family and friends.

All rooms have been freshly updated for comfort with a master bedroom upstairs featuring a queen bed, reading space, desk, a view of the mountain, and plenty of closet space. The cozy guest bedroom includes a queen bed and small, private deck. The bunk room downstairs sleeps four with 2 sets of bunks and plenty of room for the kids to enjoy games and movies while the parents relax in the living room next to the wood burning stove. The cabin also includes a balcony with an adorable reading nook to relax or take a nap after your outdoor adventures.

We have made every effort to make sure our guests will enjoy their stay away from home. There is plenty of space to relax in both the rec room and living room and both rooms have a TV with cable. The cabin is stocked with a variety of games and puzzles, books, wood for the fire, and extra pillows and blankets.The dining table seats 8 with extra bar seating at the counter. The backyard offers a large deck with beautiful views of the mountain, plenty of seating, a BBQ, and a spacious, private yard. There are several closets for storage, a mudroom for boots and ski coats, and on-site parking.

The cabin is located within 1.5 miles of Nordic Valley Ski Resort which offers skiing, night skiing, and tubing in the winter and hiking, mountain biking, disc golf and concerts in the summer. Eden, less than a five minute drive, has several restaurants and a large grocery store. Scenic Pineview Reservoir is approximately 10 minutes away and families can enjoy fishing, boating, water skiing, paddle boarding, and kayaking. Guests can also ski at Powder Mountain (20 min drive) or Snowbasin (30 min drive).

Kayak out the back door. 15 minutes to World Class skiing, boating, hiking, & exploring. Shopping and restaurants galore. My cabin is nestled in the trees at the mouth of Ogden Canyon. The beautiful couch in the living room has a trundle bed that pulls out. It will sleep two adults. This property is a guest cabin on my 3 acre estate. Feel free to roam the property and enjoy the tables and seating down by the river.

Our rental is a sweet log cabin located right at Powder Mountain Ski Resort, where you put your skis on at the front door! The cabin is one of 20 mountain homes located right above the resort parking lot.

Our host will snowmobile you, your guests and your gear to the cabin. Since the roads are not plowed here, it keeps the atmosphere truly a winter wonderland. Views of night skiing, sunsets, sunrises and the valley below will provide a beautiful backdrop for your apres ski or morning routine. It is very easy to ski home for a homemade lunch and dry your clothes in the dryer, if it has been a very cold or wet ski day, so that the afternoon will be more comfortable. If part of your party does not want to ski all day, it is no problem for your group to split up without leaving some people waiting in a lodge.

This cabin was built by us for skiing! Also included is a boot and glove dryer system that will accomodate 4 pairs of boots and gloves that guarantees dry gear in the morning. Ski-in, ski-out means no driving or getting gear on in parking lots. Stock up on your groceries before you arrive and there will be no need to get in your car until you have to go home.

Location is everything and this cabin truly lets you forget about the stress of everyday life and simply lets you enjoy the beauty of the mountains.

The Neighborhood:
Hale' Pow Mow is located on a private street close to the main road connecting the Sundown lift parking lot to the Timberline Lodge parking lot. The road is paved to the garage. Snow removal may be limited in order to maintain ski/in out conditions. Parking is limited. Please plan for and comply with parking restrictions. Snowplow service on State Highway 158 is from 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. so late-night check-ins are not advised.

Getting Around:
A 4 WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE IS MANDATORY FOR THIS SKI AREA
From Wolf Creek in Eden to Powder Mountain, it’s a 5-mile climb to the ski area. Going up is easy but coming down it’s best to put the 4-wheel drive in a low gear to control speed. Depending on snow levels, guests can strap on their skis and maneuver to the Sundown Lift to access Lighting Ridge cat skiing (need a pass beforehand). Lighting Ridge then leads to Paradise Lift in the middle of the ski area. At the end of the day there is an access trail that leads back to the Hale' Pow Mow's private road.

Other Things to Note:
We recommend that guests plan to purchase groceries on the first day of arrival for the duration of the reservation or arrange for grocery service. The Valley Market in Eden, Utah is the closest grocery store. Grocery service is available through Champagne Powder Tours & Concierge. This includes liquor store deliveries. Please note, Utah that Liquor Stores are separate from grocery stores and closed on Sundays. Better to plan ahead, stock the property and leave the days open to enjoy your vacation.

Our large rustic cabin is family reunion friendly and is perfect for gathering. We have 9-bedrooms with an ensuite bathroom for each bedroom, ensuring a privacy for all guests. Two of our family suites have cribs with 2 additional folding cribs available at the property. Built to accommodate a crowd, the spacious kitchen that has 3 large tables and can accommodate up to 38 adults and kids and includes 2 high chairs. The large gathering room upstairs has stunning views of the lake and mountains.

- "We plan an annual ice fishing trip every year and this year we decided to try Pineview Reservoir. We found this awesome cabin that used to be a bed and breakfast. Having a bathroom attached to every room was a definite plus. The kitchen was recently updated and was great for cooking and preparing most of our meals. There is plenty of seating in the kitchen and on the adjacent deck. We actually sat outside and soaked up some sunshine during our lunch break. The location is fantastic if you are looking for activities on the lake. It is also very close to the local restaurants which we tried on Saturday night. Our access point to the ice was only a short 15 minute drive from the cabin. The family room upstairs has a huge television and was a great place to relax and recharge at night. The host let us know beforehand that there might be some dust when we arrived due to a recent remodel. It was all cleaned up by the time we arrived, and we can’t wait to see the newly remodeled bedroom during our next visit. We will definitely book this cabin again when we return to Pineview during the summer for open water fishing."

There are seven rooms total at the inn you will encounter our staff and fellow inn guests when you stay here. Only shared space is the laundry room.

Powder Mountain offers a handful of slopeside properties and this is one best spots to stay because it is located at the resort center. It is at an elevation of 8250. It is located next door to the Moonridge condos and near Powder Mountain West homes.

Keybox for check in. Stairs are required for any rooms at Columbine inn. You must go up four steps to get to this unit. You can park very close to the front door. Summit Pass road is located behind the inn. Our entrance is located in the Timberline Lodge parking lot located near the ticket booth.

Mountain style lodge in the Wasatch Mountains and Cache National forest. WIldlife including some dangerous cougar and bear though rarely seen are present.

Rent a car with four wheel drive or all wheel drive. Road is not plowed between 11pm and 6 am and sometimes can close for up to two or three days if a slide covers it. Use low gear and don't ride your brakes.

This is the second largest room that we offer at the Columbine Inn and is well suited for a small family.

The kitchen is well-appointed with most of the appliances and cooking tools you will need. If you’re wondering about something in particular, just ask!

The master bedroom is on the main level and is furnished with a comfortable king bed with deluxe bedding and has a full, connected bathroom with two sinks, a private toilet and walk-in shower.

There is a second bedroom on the main floor with a queen-over-queen bunk bed.

There are three bedrooms in the basement, all with deluxe king beds. One bedroom has a king bed and a twin bunk bed. There are also two full bathrooms in the basement.

The upper level is a loft with 3 queen beds, a ping pong table and a TV. A perfect place for the kids to sleep and play!

Guests have full access to the entire cabin with the exception of the garage and one owner's closet located in the master bedroom that is used to restock the home.

There is parking available on the driveway. We ask that there be no more than 5 vehicles parked at the cabin. Parking on the street is not permitted.

About a week before your arrival, we will send you the code to the front door along with information you will need for the house.

*Please note that the cabin is located on a rural mountainside. Despite quarterly pest control, you may still see some bugs in the cabin. Also, due to the location, WiFi can sometimes be slower than you may be accustomed to.*

The Neighborhood:
The Nest is located on a private street close to the main road connecting the Sundown lift parking lot to the Timberline Lodge parking lot. The road is paved to the garage. Snow removal may be limited in order to maintain ski/in out conditions. Parking is limited. Please plan for and comply with parking restrictions. Snowplow service on State Highway 158 is from 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. so late-night check-ins are not advised.

Getting Around:
A 4 WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE IS MANDATORY FOR THIS SKI AREA
From Wolf Creek in Eden to Powder Mountain, it’s a 5-mile climb to the ski area. Going up is easy but coming down it’s best to put the 4-wheel drive in a low gear to control speed. Depending on snow levels, guests can strap on their skis and maneuver to the Sundown Lift to access Lighting Ridge cat skiing (need a pass beforehand). Lighting Ridge then leads to Paradise Lift in the middle of the ski area. At the end of the day there is an access trail that leads back to the The Nest's private road.

Interaction with Guests:
We recommend that guests plan to purchase groceries on the first day of arrival for the duration of the reservation or arrange for grocery service. The Valley Market in Eden, Utah is the closest grocery store. Grocery service is available through Champagne Powder Tours & Concierge. This includes liquor store deliveries. Please note, Utah that Liquor Stores are separate from grocery stores and closed on Sundays. Better to plan ahead, stock the property and leave the days open to enjoy your vacation.

Columbine Inn has seven private units located in a shared hallway. Only shared common space is the Laundry Room. The hosts are the family who built the ski area and they are Powder Mountain experts. These are the closest places to the main lodge and ski shop and Powder Keg Bar. YHou will feel right at home.

Located at the resort center. just feet from Timberline Lodge It is at an elevation of 8250. Next door to the Moonridge Condos. Located on the Powder Mountain shuttle route.. 1/4 mile from the ski school check in and night skiing lift. Ten minutes away is the small town of Eden and a handfull of businesses and 30 minutes away is Ogden with many restaurants and things to do. People enjoy Christmas Village, the Solomon Center and Historic Downtown 25th street.

Keybox on the door of your room for check in. Stairs are required for any rooms at Columbine Inn. Summit Pass Road runs behind the Inn and no access to entrance from Summit Pass Road due to a steep slope. Please note the downstairs rooms lock automatically when the door is shut so take care to avoid lockouts by using the keybox even after arrival. That way you won't lose your keys out skiing unless you just want us to tell your boss or your wife that is what happened to your car keys-- we can easily make that call if the snow is too good to leave!

Mountain style lodge in the forest. Wild animals are present at times. High elevation of 8250 ft above sea level. No small infants please due to oxygen levels.

Four Wheel Drive or all wheel drive is recommended for Powder Mountain Road. Shuttle from airport average cost is about 240 each way for 1-4 people. Most guests get a rental car. Public transportation is minimal and not very good schedule. It is an hour to and hour and a half to get here form the Salt Lake airport. The drive is half freeway and half curvy mountain roads.

Additionally, there is a "bunkbed room" that has three sets of bunkbeds for kids, also with its own en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet.
The spacious and well-equipped kitchen allows for many cooks; 6 burner stove, indoor center grill, and double oven along with center island and outdoor grill.

- "Couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay. It is really hard to explain in few words how wonderful the house is - even more welcoming than the pictures. A very big and beautiful home full of character and so well thought through. From the very beginning Lena was very helpful, she gave us some recommendations for the area. When we arrived the children were thrilled to ride on the sleds connected to the snowmobile up to the house, not that it's very far! We left the cars down the slope at the parking lot, we had 2 cars which were accessible by a short walk, it took us about 10 min from the house. It was snowing almost all day and in the evening we used the snow shoes (they have a few pairs in the house). We really enjoyed it as we love to walk after dinners to stay healthy. There are lots of games for children and the jacuzzi was a great addition to our stay with views and sunsets like this... We are definitely coming back very soon!"

The space:
This used to be a 6-acre horse farm, so there are many rustic outbuildings. Feel free to explore the old barn or walk through the horse pasture behind the cabin. Keep an eye out for wildlife, and give them their space. Wild turkeys love to roam through the property. Deer and moose, bald eagles, osprey, owls, rabbit, raccoons, snakes, squirrels, weird looking bugs, and even the occasional cattle that figure out a new way through the neighbor's fence.

There are two bedrooms--one with a queen-size bed, one with a king--a full kitchen, a bathroom with a bidet and shower, and a second bathroom.

Being out in the country, we are on a septic tank system, so nothing but toilet paper can go into the toilet (a fine will be assessed if the septic system clogs during your stay).

Guest access:
Drive straight to the top of the driveway, and you will be there. There is another cabin 100 yards to the left that occasionally has guests, but the two are far enough apart to have plenty of privacy.

Up the road there is a gun range and a snowmobile parking lot.

The Kayak Cabin is a romantic rustic cabin retreat for adventurers and those seeking a private relaxing stay with a warm luxury cabin feel. Located in a barn on the back of our 1.4 acre property in the valley between the Wasatch Mountains and the Great Salt Lake, it is completely private. It features a 43" bathroom TV viewable from a 2 person farm-style claw tub, Luxurious rustic log bed, couch bed, and 75" bedroom TV! Enjoy FREE Kayak, Stand Up Paddleboard, Canoe, and River Tube Rentals for all guests during your stay!

Guest access
The Kayak Cabin, the adjacent outdoor dining area with the table, chairs, and Smoker Grill. The rest of the yard is shared with the host family.

Other things to note
The building the Kayak Cabin is in is also home to Green Adventure Sport Rentals, Our Paddlesport Rental Company. Feel free to check us out on You Tube. Our business hours are 8am-8pm M-Sa. Rentals tend to be on Fridays and Saturdays with summer being our busiest season. We will do everything we can to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. Please note, in the mornings you may hear us serving customers and loading boats onto vehicles.

As a bonus for being our guest, please enjoy a Free rental (up to 1 per person per day)

This 3 bedroom (sleeps 11) 3 bath cabin offers a charming private feel even though it's just 3 minutes away from grocery stores and restaurants and only a 20-35 minute drive to 3 amazing Ski Resorts. Relax with the whole family as you snuggle in, or unplug from the world and play outside in the pool. This cabin feels like you're back in 'the good old days'! The welcoming open floor plan offers a great space for meals and games. **Additional RV parking available upon request for a fee**

The space
Welcome to the Cowboy Cabin where you get to literally "saddle up to the bar". This home has a total of 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and features an open kitchen, dining and family room.

The Main floor is where you will enter the home into the Dining/Family room space, featuring a large sectional couch with Full size pull out bed, smart TV and fireplace. The Kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals. Oven, flattop stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender, and crock pot just to name a few. There is one Bedroom with a Queen Bed and one Bathroom with a tub (no shower) on this floor.

Upstairs is a loft/bedroom with a Queen Bed and a Twin Trundle Bed. There is a full bathroom and an additional private work space where you can take in the view of beautiful Ben Lomond Peak.

Downstairs has one Bedroom with a Queen Bed, and one Bathroom with a shower that features a tile mosaic of horses (the romantic 'Man from Snowy River' type) to keep you company. The laundry is also located in the basement.

There is a hot tub (3-4 person) just outside the back door on the private patio, and a covered swimming pool (available mid May - late September) in the fully fenced yard. Note that the pool is NOT fenced separately, and although there is a safety cover, the pool poses a safety risk and requires awareness with children around.

Additionally, this cabin has balconies inside and outside, a fireplace, ponds and wildlife, all of which present a danger to young children, please consider this when booking.

This Cabin has lots of personality inside and out. If you are looking to get away from the hustle of modern life, this is the place!

Guest access
Guests will have access to the whole house and yard, as well as access to a 2 car garage space. The hot tub is available year round. The pool is available Memorial Day - Labor Day.

Other things to note
This is a beautiful property with springs and ponds. You can expect to see chickens, ducks, geese, raccoons and deer wandering through the grounds. You can also expect to see Jeff (the land owner) working on the land. We are continually making improvements to the land and property which means we will be taking care of the chickens, working on the old barn, watering flowers, mowing lawns and doing pool maintenance as needed.

Renter is responsible for any injuries that may arise from negligence on their part.

Please note that this cabin has balconies inside and out that pose a risk to children. Additionally, the property has ponds, streams and wildlife that will be the responsibility of the renter to use caution around.
