Come visit this cute small town we call home. We are located in the heart of Torrey, located a block away from the Chuckwagon General Store as well as shopping at the locally family owned Torrey Trading Post.

Our cabin “The Roost” is a two bedroom one bathroom, full kitchen fully furnished piece of heaven. It currently sleeps up to four guest. Come sit back and relax on one of the two patios on site with beautiful views of Boulder and Cockscomb. We are a five minute drive away from the Velvets as well as a 10 minute drive from Capitol Reef National Park. If you’re interest include hiking, fishing, four wheeling side-by-side riding or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery there are many places such as Cathedral Valley, Hickman Bridge, Burr Trail, and Fish Lake.

Spend the day exploring the deep canyons of Capital Reef National Park then watch the sunset relaxing on the deck overlooking the domes and cliffs of the park. Perched on a small tongue of land above Sand Creek enjoy the limitless views. The center of town is within walking distance. The outdoor fire pit is an ideal place to gather and tell tales of the adventures of the day as well as stargaze. Three full bedrooms comfortably sleeps 8 people but the cost of the rental changes as you add more people.

- "We, family of four from the Netherlands, had a fantastic time. The house is beautifully located. The views of the mountains of Capital Reef are breathtaking. The house is big, very well kept and a nice kitchen with a full pantry if needed. In the garden (or on the deck) one can explore, spot birds, hummingbirds, lizards and rabbits.. and stars! Within 5 minutes drive one can visit Torrey with a few lovely shops, a grocerie store and places to dine. In 10 miles is visitor center of Capitol Reef. Lots of exploring, hiking to do or a visit to Fruita for a lovely pie. We rented this home 5 years ago as well and hopefully be able to rent it again in the future. So.. We can highly recommend this house and area to stay!"

There are great spaces for all of the adults to visit as well as kids. In the Great room is a pool table, flat screen TV/DVD, film and book libraries, game table and board games, as well as free WI FI. The spacious bathrooms are great with three sinks and in one and two in the other. The Cliff Overlook bedroom has a king size bed and the Gone Fishin' bedroom has two queens. Another queen bed is nestled in one corner of the Great Room. The loft is perfect for children who feel like they're having a sleepover.
Most meals are enjoyed on the large, flower surrounded patio complete with BBQ, and fire pit.
An added great feature are our three new pickle ball courts, our only warning is that the stunning view from there might impact your game!

The radiant heated floor make it feel cozy. The house itself was beautifully built with lots of space to be together in. The kitchen is sufficiently stocked with tools. It is critical to read the very thoughtful and precise directions to the house.The only thing that needed potential improvement was a checkout manual. We laid in bed just watching the Sky Show, clouds drifting in an out of frame, then later on, the spectacular stars. The bathrooms were very nice in and of themselves. We were a little confused by the listing. We learned "private bathroom" means you won't have to shower with others at the same time, which is great. :) But they will be used by other random glampers/RV'ers and they could have been cleaned more frequently. The property is tucked away from traffic on a well-kept graded dirt road, easy to traverse in any car, and bordered by the Fremont River. The cabin is professionally cleaned after each guest, but be aware in summer there are sometimes small dust flurries that may affect the porch after the cleaners leave. Tinker Creek Loft is an up-scale Oasis in the high desert within walking distance to everything Torrey has to offer and only a few miles from the entrance of Capitol Reef National Park. Tinker Creek Loft is a modern apartment adjoining a whimsical A-frame duplex. There are spacious grounds for both units to enjoy the outdoors while maintaining privacy.

The Loft has a fully equipped kitchen, a gorgeous full bathroom, complimentary washer/dryer, and Wifi. The loft has a private driveway and patio, equipped with patio furniture, a propane bbq and a firepit.

No smoking or pets, please. This includes dogs who stay outside.

A Secluded Desert Cabin tucked away in the midst of rocks capes, pinion and juniper trees. So peaceful and quiet! Enjoy the peaceful home and grounds which include acres of alfalfa fields backed by the views of Boulder Mountain. The property borders BLM land to the North and to the East where you can hike up the hill to a lovely lookout point or go for days without seeing a sole. So quiet and peaceful and a perfect place to enjoy the night sky as there is no visible light from the cabin

The space
The space is clean and simple.

There are officially two bedrooms and one bonus room that you walk through to get to the Primary Bedroom with bed and closet. The Primary bedroom has a nice walk-in closet, a large bathroom and nice privacy. The floors are concrete and the main family room is cozy and nice to enjoy the views and evening dark skies.

Guest access
The entire house is yours to access except for the Storage Room off front door. There is also a garage that is not accessible to guests and a small art or tv studio with porch that you have access to. You will not be sharing any of the property with anyone else while staying there (Other than maybe some friendly wildlife of course). We love this cabin for the amazing privacy and seclusion. We hope you will love it too.

Other things to note
The home is a desert home. It is connected to the power grid and has good internet for the remote location. The main Water source is collected from rainfall and stored under ground. It works great for showers and washing hands. We have added a full house filtration system in addition to the reverse osmosis filters at each sink and a drinking water dispenser in the kitchen. We recommend you do not drink the water from the sinks but it is very much safe to use and bath in. We do provide filtered drinking water in the kitchen.

A couples’ retreat, the Canyon Wren Cottage is sculpted into bedrock amongst pinion pines and old growth mountain mahogany brush. A picturesque erosion sculpted sandstone monolith rises four stories at the edge of the yard, just beyond the cottage. The approach to the cottage from Teasdale Road, is down a short lane crossing through woodland fringed meadow with a wetland on one side and alfalfa cultivation on the other. The backdrop is beautiful rock form, including a large balanced rock.

This bright, well-appointed 2BR/1BA split-level cabin sits on 20 acres at the base of Boulder Mountain, overlooking a tree-lined pasture and the stunning Cocks Comb in Fish Creek Cove. The open floor plan, high ceilings, and large windows accentuate the surrounding natural environment to create a true feeling of “being away.” Situated 15 minutes from Capitol Reef National Park, this home provides a gateway to gorgeous hikes, waterfalls, and petroglyphs.

The space
The upstairs floor features a well-equipped kitchen and dining area with an island, gas range, and plenty of countertop and cabinet space. An antique dining room table easily seats eight and allows everyone to enjoy the unique landscape during mealtimes. From the dining area, sliding glass doors open onto a large deck, which offers a second dining option and provides a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the view. The upper level also includes a spacious living room with smart TV, rocking chairs, and board games for guest use.

Heading down a half flight of stairs, the cabin’s entry level includes a workspace, built-in bookshelves, a full bathroom, and laundry closet. Several benches provide a warm welcome and offer a place to sit for taking on and off dusty shoes. A second half flight of stairs leads to a landing area and two large bedrooms with king beds and oversized closets. Both bedrooms have ample space for additional mattresses on the floor, and the home stocks one inflatable air mattress for guest use.

From the lower level, a door opens to a shaded patio and a walkway down to a mini creek that runs through the property. Around the corner, a table and bench provide another shaded outdoor sitting area and connect back with the large driveway and parking area at the front of the home.

Tinker Creek Cabin has one private bedroom with a queen bed, plus a loft with two full beds. The 6 person capacity is possible if you sleep two guests to a bed. The couch is not a pull-out couch.

Please take special note that there are steep stairs leading up to the loft area. There is a photo of the stairs in our listing.

The cabin has a full bathroom downstairs that is ideally set up for groups, and a half bath upstairs in the loft.

The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, complimentary laundry facilities, and Wifi. The cabin is surrounded by outdoor patios with ample seating during fair weather and space to wander and experience nature all year long.

No smoking or pets, please. This includes dogs who stay outside.

Guest access
Guests of Tinker Creek Cabin can enjoy full access to half of the outdoor spaces. This includes a private patio, private front yard, a very large side yard, including access to the Torrey Canal, and a patio shared with Tinker Creek Cabin guests.

Other things to note
Please note that the living room has permanent seating for 5 guests, plus (2) barstools and, which provides seating for up to 7 guests. Seating can be tight in the winter months, but isn't an issue once the weather warms up and groups can sit outside on the comfortable outdoor patios.

There is no dining room in the cabin, but we do have a small counter bar. Again, this is really only an issue in the winter months when it is too cold to enjoy the beautiful outdoor patios.

Spend the day exploring the deep canyons of Capital Reef National Park then watch the sunset relaxing on the deck overlooking the domes and cliffs of the park. Perched on a small tongue of land above Sand Creek enjoy the limitless views.

The space
The beautiful views from the brand new wrap around deck, the upper deck, the kitchen and bedroom windows is what makes our space absolutely magnificent. The cabin itself is quaint, cozy and comfortable!

Guest access
You will be able to walk to the center of town off the point of the property which is about 1 mile. Capital Reef National Park is approximately 10 miles from home. There is also some hiking and biking you can do from the house. The parking is easy going up the hill to the cabin and you can park in the garage.

Other things to note
There is the original kitchen which means there is not a dishwasher as of yet. However, the view from the kitchen window makes doing the dishes a joy. The warmth of the cabin, if the weather is cold, comes from a wood stove that you are able to use when it seems fitting. There is also a large fire pit outside that is fun for the evenings. There is wifi and cell service, but be for-warned that AT&T works well from the cabin, other phone plans not so well. There is shampoo, body wash, hair dryer, towels, and most of the kitchen essentials necessary for preparing a magnificent breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. There is a brand new barbecue set up near the front deck and fire pit. On the upper east deck there are 4 chairs and a couple of tables where you can sit and watch the sunrise and/or sunset.

This house is not as famous for the home itself, but is completely famous for the views from the house and 5 acres it sits on. Many locals have made the comment that the home is on the best piece of property in the area. Of course Kevin and I agree.

Fifteen minutes from Capitol Reef National Park, this unique and beautiful home has views of the Red Cliffs of Thousand Lakes Mountain and the Bicknell Bottoms Wildlife Preserve. The 3300 sq. ft. cabin sleeps 9 in bedrooms, and another 2 downstairs on fold-out beds. The spacious three-level home offers a pool table, 3 indoor gas fireplaces, an outdoor propane fireplace, a horseshoe pit, and a trampoline. There are excellent views, sunsets, and bird-watching from the two large decks and patios.

The space
The home is located on a quiet road off of Highway 24, about halfway between the towns of Torrey and Bicknell.
The location of our house is exceptionally private. It is located on 8 acres , and no neighbors can be seen. It is surrounded by open, natural areas. The bird-watching is excellent, and the night skies are dark and clear. The home is located near to all the wonderful sites and adventures available in the Torrey/Teasdale/Bicknell area. Capitol Reef National Park is accessible by a 15-minute drive.
The house is directly across the road from Pine Creek, which offers fly-fishing and is home to a large variety of birds. You will often see deer and rabbits meander through the property, hummingbirds love to hang out on the upper deck, and bald eagles are known to do fly-bys when they're in town during the winter months.
The large upper deck has great views, and for many guests is their favorite part of the home.
The even larger lower deck is in the side yard, with a picnic table, a trampoline, an outdoor propane fireplace, and a horseshoe pit.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house, with the exception of 2 closets on the lower level, as these contain owners' items and supplies for cleaning/maintenance.
Although the house could accommodate more, we've limited the total number of guests to 10 maximum to ensure that everyone has plenty of room.

Other things to note
If you like privacy, comfort, peace & quiet in an amazing location, and enjoy relaxing on an upper-level deck with great views, then you have found your place!

Get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the expansive inspiring vistas in every direction as you enjoy the rustic contemporary comforts. Away from it all and yet close and convenient to Capitol Reef and other undiscovered gems that dot the landscape waiting for the true explorers and wanderers. Of course you may not want to leave!

The space
Location, Location, Location!

Centrally located in the middle of the mighty 5 national parks, this cabin sits at 7,000 feet with 270 degree views of the transition from mountain to desert. If you like to explore less populated and commercialized national parks, this is the place! From hiking into deep canyons, scaling sandstone ridge lines, or fishing in the 80 lakes and streams on boulder mountain for trout...its an outdoor lovers paradise!

Do you like the natural inviting properties of wood? Furnishings and materials that blend in with the environment? Special attention was focused on using natural real organic materials to bring the outside in.

There are 3 bedrooms. 2 with queen beds and 1 with a king bed.

The home has 3 bathrooms. 1 on the bottom level, 2 on the second level. The 3rd has a walk in shower and is a private bathroom for the master bedroom.

The main floor has a washer and dryer with sink, kitchen, dining area, and small family room with wood burning stove, tv, and furniture.

The second level has a large great room with hammock chairs and stellar views! You could place 8 or so yoga mats here. There is a glass door to the deck with the most amazing view you will ever see! It also has a ladder to the loft with a smart tv. Kids could sleep here but would have to provide their own bedding. (Please no food or drink except for water up here). This level is also where the master bedroom is with its private glass door to the deck.

Outside is the plateau! This is where the sauna is, marble bathtub, wood burning hot tub, outdoor shower, (This is seasonal) massive fire pit, star gazing deck, and the VIEWS!! Hike to the point and enjoy the sleeping rainbow in the distance on thousand lake mountain. The views go from fish lake national forest, thousand lake mountain, capitol reef, the henry mountains, and boulder mountain. Don't miss sunrise! I suggest bringing your own blankets and such if you want to lie down on the wood deck near the fire pit for star gazing. I do have 4 pads available. They are in the tiny home

Please this isn't the place for atv's or side by sides. Visit my other listing in teasdale, Mountians To Deserts. The road down lower is dirt and gravel heading up but high clearance cars can make it. If it happens to snow you will need 4 wheel drive to reach the cabin.

No stairs to get into the cabin. You drive up a mile on a winding dirt road to reach the plateau on the foothills of boulder mountain. Feel free to use it all!

Other things to note
I'm a professional nature photographer and enjoy how the great outdoors fills ones soul. I love VIEWS! I like everything that is natural and pristine, hence why I acquired this wonderful property. It was hard to build here because I didn't want to disturb anything. When you book you will see the house manual to help you appreciate and use the space meaningfully.
