Come visit this cute small town we call home. We are located in the heart of Torrey, located a block away from the Chuckwagon General Store as well as shopping at the locally family owned Torrey Trading Post.

Our cabin “The Roost” is a two bedroom one bathroom, full kitchen fully furnished piece of heaven. It currently sleeps up to four guest. Come sit back and relax on one of the two patios on site with beautiful views of Boulder and Cockscomb. We are a five minute drive away from the Velvets as well as a 10 minute drive from Capitol Reef National Park. If you’re interest include hiking, fishing, four wheeling side-by-side riding or just relaxing and enjoying the scenery there are many places such as Cathedral Valley, Hickman Bridge, Burr Trail, and Fish Lake.

Perched on a small tongue of land above Sand Creek enjoy the limitless views. The center of town is within walking distance. The outdoor fire pit is an ideal place to gather and tell tales of the adventures of the day as well as stargaze. Three full bedrooms comfortably sleeps 8 people but the cost of the rental changes as you add more people.

The house is big, very well kept and a nice kitchen with a full pantry if needed. In the garden (or on the deck) one can explore, spot birds, hummingbirds, lizards and rabbits.. and stars! Within 5 minutes drive one can visit Torrey with a few lovely shops, a grocerie store and places to dine. In 10 miles is visitor center of Capitol Reef. Lots of exploring, hiking to do or a visit to Fruita for a lovely pie. We rented this home 5 years ago as well and hopefully be able to rent it again in the future. So.. We can highly recommend this house and area to stay!"

There are great spaces for all of the adults to visit as well as kids. In the Great room is a pool table, flat screen TV/DVD, film and book libraries, game table and board games, as well as free WI FI. The spacious bathrooms are great with three sinks and in one and two in the other. The Cliff Overlook bedroom has a king size bed and the Gone Fishin' bedroom has two queens. Another queen bed is nestled in one corner of the Great Room. The loft is perfect for children who feel like they're having a sleepover.
Most meals are enjoyed on the large, flower surrounded patio complete with BBQ, and fire pit.
An added great feature are our three new pickle ball courts, our only warning is that the stunning view from there might impact your game!

The radiant heated floor make it feel cozy. The house itself was beautifully built with lots of space to be together in. The kitchen is sufficiently stocked with tools. It is critical to read the very thoughtful and precise directions to the house.The only thing that needed potential improvement was a checkout manual. We learned "private bathroom" means you won't have to shower with others at the same time, which is great. :) But they will be used by other random glampers/RV'ers and they could have been cleaned more frequently.
