If you come in a particular car or motorbike the vehicle would be 5 minutes from the cabin, in the sector there are several parking lots, you must reserve the quota.

BIOLUMINESCENT PLANKTON: In kayaks rema enters the lagoon on a low light night and you will be amazed to discover how with the movement of the water thousands of plankton particles light up in the water. It's quite a spectacle.

VISIT THE ISLANDS. The San Bernardo Islands offer several opportunities that you will surely enjoy. See the colors of the sea and white sand, bathe on its beaches, have lunch fish, or visit the island of birds where hundreds of them arrive at sunset to sleep.

WINDSURFING. Nearby you can take some classes if you are a beginner or rent equipment to enjoy the sea.

WALKING/JOGGING and BIRD WATCHING. You can leave early in the mornings or at sunset for a walk or jog for several kilometers while you admire the beautiful birds that the area has. Please take as many photos as you can.

BIKE RIDE. In the Rincon del Mar we know a place where you can rent bicycles and drive around the area. We currently have 1 bike in the cabin for your use.

RINCON DEL MAR. Visit our nearest village to get to know a fishing village. Find little shops with souvenirs and sit down at sunset for a cold beer at one of its restaurants or bars on the beach.

Now if it's your thing to read a good book, you can do it in the hammocks or sit at the private beach front kiosk, just a few steps from the house. For those who love the sunshine, they can enjoy it in our sunbeds and who knows if they're accompanied by a rich cocktail. And don't forget to stay to watch the sunset from there or even from the sea, they are beautiful.

The house has two employees, so they can cook typical food from the islands, clean the rooms daily, and be support with everything you need on the beach.

The space
The cabin is located in the nature reserve of Sanguare, only 2.5 hours from Cartagena. You can arrive directly by car to the cabin and leave it parked right there. If you need transportation contacts from airports we will be happy to help you with options.

Upon arrival our staff will help you unload your luggage and settle in so you can start enjoying the paradise we are in. Our rooms have air conditioning and fans as well as good water supply.

Our rates include a butler and housekeeper/cook, who are ready to help you with your needs, whether it be getting supplies, transportation, organizing boat trips and other activities in the area. (They only speak spanish but you can reach for us for any need and we will help to translate from english to spanish)

Our kitchen is equipped with everything you need, you can decide to use it yourself or have our cook prepare local specialties for you. You can coordinate with her to have as much privacy as you wish.

In case you need to connect with the world from this small paradise you can do it because we have Wifi.

Some ACTIVITIES you can do in the area. Several of these are contracted with a nearby supplier and have a cost.

KAYAKING: Kayak and enjoy the mangroves and beautiful birds of the area. Visit the nearby lagoon and paddle through mangroves.

SNORKELING AND SCUBA DIVING. You can schedule outings to various places in the islands and enjoy the warm Caribbean Sea. You can rent the necessary equipment.

BIOLUMINESCENT PLANKTON: In kayaks paddle into the lagoon on a night with little light and you will be amazed to discover how the movement of the water activates thousands of plankton particles that illuminate the water. It is quite a spectacle.

VISIT THE ISLANDS. The San Bernardo Islands offer several opportunities that you will surely enjoy. See the colors of the sea and its white sand, swim in its beaches, have a fish lunch in its stores, or visit the island of the birds where at sunset hundreds of them arrive to sleep.

WINDSURF. Nearby you can take some lessons if you are a beginner or rent equipment to enjoy the sea.

WALKING/RUNNING and BIRD WATCHING. You can go out early in the morning or at sunset to walk or jog several kilometers while admiring the beautiful birds in the area. Take as many pictures as you can.

BIKE RIDING. In Rincón del Mar we know a place where you can rent bicycles and tour the area. We have 1 bicycle that you can use.

RINCON DEL MAR. Visit our nearest town to get to know a fishing village. Find small stores with souvenirs. Have a cold beer in one of the restaurants or bars on the beach and enjoy the sunset.

Now if reading a good book is your thing, you can do it in the hammocks or sitting in the private kiosk in front of the beach, just a few steps from the house. For those who love the sun, you can enjoy it in our sun loungers and who knows, maybe with a nice cocktail. And don't forget to stay and watch the sunset from there or even from the sea, they are beautiful.

We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible, so we want to share with you some important features of our house.

Energy:
The house has an electric plant, which can be used in case of a power outage. Our butler will be in charge of starting it up and you will have power all night long. If you need to use it for longer, an additional fee will be charged.

Internet:
We have an unlimited consumption internet connection, with a speed of 6 megas. If you need additional speed, let us know and we will try to help you.

Mosquitoes:
Since we are located in a nature reserve, it is likely that there will be mosquitoes at sunset. But don't worry, we have solutions to make your stay more pleasant. We can fumigate the rooms, we have electric units for RAID tablets (bring spares) and we also have nets or mosquito nets, which you can request at any time. In addition, our second floor rooms have window nets.
