The property is in VGP layout. The layout entrance opens to the the Tar Road - Pallangi Road. Levinge homestead is about 150m from the entrance of the layout. There's a mud road from the tar road entrance to Levinge. It's a motorable road. During rainy days, it gets tricky to take the vehicle to the property. On such days, you can park the vehicle inside the layout along the first step. It's a private layout and gated community and is perfectly safe.

Levinge Homestead is 1km before pallangi in Anbu Nagar. It's a 15-20 min - ride from Kodaikanal Lake.
It's a calm neighbourhood and views are simply worth it.

Its a lovely cottage with all you need to get away from the city ( The smoke and noise of kodai town included!) but yet is a short drive away from the town itself. It has amazing views of the town and the lake and greenery all around. This home with wooden floors offers two large bedrooms, a large hall, a functional kitchen and a beautiful patio to soak up the sun or rain;-)

The House is beautifully decorated with some beautiful family furniture and many of my personal belongings collected over time from all over the world, Large glass windows offer views of greenery and the patio offers breathtaking views of the valley and the lake.

The house has two bedrooms with room heaters and two bathrooms. The kitchen has all basic cooking utensils. The house also has a toaster, hot water kettle, Microwave, Refrigerator and gas supply.

The entire house is accessible. The kitchen is also accessible for light cooking, take care to clean up and do the dishes after cookkng. There is a centralized kitchen within the community for food ( after all you are on holiday!) Lighting of the fireplace is not allowed! Please be mindful to clean up if you are using the kitchen. The various things in this house were collected by my family and are dear to us please ensure that everything is left in place.

Please no smoking, excessive noise, Lighting the fireplace. Please check with me if your taking a bus into kodai please check with me as i may not be able to give you early check in/late check out as buses come in early in the morning and leave in the evening. The Colonial Cottage is a premium cozy luxury cottage that is just 800 meters from the lake and 1.5 km from the center of Kodaikanal town and yet it is located in a very quiet 1.5 acre full organic property with beautiful organic gardens and vegetables growing here. The space
Its gardens are extremely well maintained, and there's enough space for a game of cricket or badminton. Mornings can be spent walking around by the lake, and during the evening, sit around a bonfire with soft music playing.

- Both bedrooms have room heaters
- Both bedrooms have walk-in closets
- Both bedrooms have king size beds. Extra mattresses can be provided on request
- Fresh linen and pillows are provided in all rooms

Living Room:
- The living room is spacious and has a seating arrangement for up to 10 people
- A flat-screen TV and WiFi is available in the living area
- The indoor fireplace can be used at an additional cost

Bathrooms:
- The villa has 2 private bathrooms
- All bathrooms are modern and have geysers for hot water supply
- Essentials such as towels and basic toiletries are provided

Kitchen & Meals:
- Our property is a pure vegetarian property with no outside food allowed on the property
- The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator and a water purifier
- Guests are not allowed to cook in the villa.
- A trained chef is available at the villa. He can prepare tasty dishes as per the menu.
- Crockery is available for 10 people

Lawn:
- The villa has a huge lawn that is shared among 5 cottages
- It can easily accommodate 60-70 people
- Events can be organized at an additional cost with prior notice
- An outdoor bonfire can be arranged at an additional cost
- Outdoor games like cricket and badminton are available at the villa

Additional Amenities:
- A torch is available
- An iron is available
- A hair-dryer is available
- Guests may use the wardrobes
