200 metres to Flynn's Beach, Wattle Beach is a cosy 2 bedroom cottage, with split system air con/heating, located in a quiet street in Flynn's Beach, surrounded by tropical gardens filled with birdlife and herb garden..The property is a short stroll to patrolled beaches and the dog friendly beach,cafes and resturants, as well as walking tracks, surf lessons, yoga classes and medical facilities.
The house is fully insured for short term pet friendly holiday rentals.
The house is comfortably equipped with superior quality bedding, 2 Queen Sized Beds and one single bed. Linen and towels provided.
There's Free WiFi, TV, DVD and CD player with Bluetooth.
The house has one bathroom with spa and a beach shower downstairs and has ample solar hot water and heated by split system heating in the winter. Things to Do in Flynns Beach

There are lots of activities to fill your days with at Flynn's Beach. The beach is patrolled from 9am to 6pm each day during the school holidays and there are surfing lessons there every day from the car park on the beach. There are also Power Yoga classes in the surf club on Monday Wednesdays and Fridays. Directly under the surf club is a cafe located right on the beach front and serves very good coffee.

There are stunning walking tracks from Town beach all the way to Lighthouse beach, Flynn's Beach is on the way and the tracks follow the beach and the coastal bush all the way. You may stop off at Sea Acres cafe and rainforest walk on the way.

The fishing is very good from the breakwall on the northern side of Town Beach where people catch flathead and bream.

If that all sounds just too much like hard work there is a library of novels at the house and a deck chair in the back yard under the avacado tree.

Port Macquarie has a huge selection of cafes and resturants , Flynns Beach also has a selection of cafes and resturants if you just want to walk around the corner from the house.

LAYOUT

Downstairs features a spacious kitchen with all appliances you need for a comfortable stay, including a breakfast/dining table or the option to dine outdoors on the deck.
The open-plan master bedroom is on the left, and the second bedroom is on the right. A bathroom is located in the hallway between the rooms, facing the outdoor deck. An additional "sneaky" toilet is in the laundry room off the outdoor back deck.

The back deck has two levels:

The upper level is for seating or dining.

The lower level is a lounge area with optional hammock hooks and a hammock provided.

The drop-down deck opens out onto a large, sloped green lawn. The yard is fully fenced.

Upstairs features a very comfortable lounge/TV room with a 55-inch smart TV and a separate veranda offering stunning ocean views. You can watch whales pass by from May to November during their annual migration.

The house is located on the beach side of Ocean Drive, the main coastal road from Lake Cathie to Port Macquarie. The beach is a one-minute walk via a short lane; Middle Rock surf break is 800 meters away.
Once you’re at the house and on the back deck, you’ll feel surrounded by a relaxing environment, barely remembering that you’re in the heart of Lake Cathie—with cafés, restaurants, a tavern, and shopping center just 500 meters down the road.

Lake Cathie is a small coastal town with no traffic lights—just a few main streets—and traffic dies down after the evening.

• There is usually always a new baby to see on your self-led farm adventures. In school holidays there is also the opportunity to come along to our mini farm tours where everyone can get up closer and cuddle a baby animal of some sort!

**Please note that we are also Hipcamp Hosts, with other guests booked in 10 sites for self-contained camping along our river front (south of The Homestead). Next to The Homestead is the original cottage on one side (where we have family living), and on the other side is our main farm shed. There are some landscaping works that still need to be completed around the farm, however these will not be undertaken during your stay.

RIGHT ACROSS THE ROAD

The beach house sits on the corner of Rodley Street and Beach Street. Rainbow Beach, Bonny Hills’ main patrolled beach, is right across the road. The off-leash dog-friendly beach is diagonally opposite, just across Vinegar Creek. Slip on your sandals, take 10 steps, and you’re there! How good is that?! Watch the kids play at the playground diagonally across the street while you relax on the deck.

MODERNISED BEACH COTTAGE

The cottage has recently received some much-needed TLC to restore it to its former glory while adding modern comforts such as a dishwasher, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi, all while retaining its original charm.
It features open-plan living with a relaxed, coastal beach vibe.

This is one of three original beach shacks — and the last one still standing in Bonny Hills.
The cottage has hosted many families from inland NSW and Sydney since the 1950s for their coastal getaways. Back then, Bonny Hills was only accessible by dirt road!

Single level studio with private entrance located at the end of Francis Street in the Port Macquarie canals, a quiet neighbourhood. A side path on the left hand side of the garage takes you to the studio entry gate and studio covered front door area. Inside you find an open plan living with bed and cupboard space on the right hand side including a desk area. Chesterfield lounge, kitchen and dining on left hand side. The studio has a full kitchen featuring a ceramic hot plate, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, sandwich press, stick blender and assorted pots and pans and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bathroom with shower, toilet, vanity. Sliding door from the studio leads on to the private back deck, where you find an outdoor kitchen with bar fridge and BBQ. Washing machine is also outside. Steps from the deck lead towards the water level. Please note this area is not fully fenced!
We use a rotating pantry in which you find all basics and more, so you do not have to take every single item! Kindly share and replace.
Linen is provided, your beds are spread, so you do not have to do any chores upon arrival. Simply rock up and relax!

- "Great place for a holiday and the property was perfectly setup for the family dog to be with us our short escape from the city." - "We loved the walks to the beaches with our furry friends. No ocean view from the unit was a letdown. We had all the facilities we needed. The furry friends had a sheltered area for them to run around. The Barbeque and both TV needs some attention to work properly. Had a very pleasant stay at Bonny's." - "Good 2 bedroom house for family of 4 (kids aged 6 & 9). Great that it was pet friendly and yard had nice level grass, plus a covered outdoor entertaining area. Kitchen is quite small but useable. Didn’t have an egg/pancake flipper (or scissors?), so we purchased our own. Short walk to a few different beaches. Enjoyed the coastal walk along the escarpment for sunrises. Cafe across the road is handy if you need supplies, short drive to North Haven or Laurieton for supermarket. There is a corner store in Bonny Hills for some supplies as well. Rainbow Beach is patrolled by Surf Life Savers and kids enjoyed learning how to boogy board. Main bedroom did get a bit noisy at night and early mornings as house is on main road Ocean Drive. Was quite warm as well, aircon is in lounge room and then only ceiling fans in bedrooms."

THE SPACE
The Hidden Gem guest pavilion was part of a recent major home renovation, and is a complete self-contained separate dwelling. The owners wanted to offer their guests complete relaxation in sophisticated, modern luxury surroundings. They were inspired by their own travels and share their little bit of paradise with you. Driving into the property your jaw will drop and you immediately feel like you are in your own executive resort. The open plan living in the 1BR, 1Bath guest cottage is very comfortable. A small courtyard with BBQ gives guests a quiet spot to relax outdoors amid lush gardens.

Just let it all go and relax. Ditch the shoes and embrace the tropical beach life style.

- "Great property towards the edge of town in quite housing area. Short walk to supermarket. Property was clean and modern with all the fixtures and fittings. An ideal space for couples. Its a reasonably short drive to the centre of town for the shops and restaurants, but saying that, there are also restaurants, shops & beaches close to its vicinity. The accommodation is placed within a large housing estate but is not overlooked by neighbours. However the high quality of the fixtures and fittings and the comfort of the accommodation makes up for its location."
