The Lily Pad is large (150sqm with A/C) and occupies a tranquil lakefront setting only 5 min from Emerald Beach, 10 min Woolgoolga and 20 min Coffs Harbour.

The fully self-contained luxury cottage is ideally suited to couples wanting to celebrate a special occasion or to enjoy a short stay retreat.

A sofa bed is available at additional cost. Pets accepted, by negotiation.

A breakfast hamper provided for the first morning.

Complimentary beer, wine or bubbles on arrival!

The space
The Lily Pad's fittings and furnishings are tasteful and of high quality.

The property offers 150sqm of air conditioned comfort (5 times larger than the average hotel room).

The kitchen has European appliances, the bespoke bathroom features a local tallowwood vanity.

The firm bed is super comfy with luxurious linens and a choice of pillows (on request). Robes and towels are fresh and fluffy.

The Lily Pad is always sparkling clean and the large lake facing deck is a superb place to eat, drink, lounge, stretch or meditate (mat provided).

The spacious open area features magnificent local tallowwood flooring, a large original Betty Mbitjana painting and a striking plush leather sofa which can be converted to a sofa bed for an extra person).

The lakefront setting offers of an array of water lilies, wetland birdlife, Japanese Koi, water dragons and regular visits from kangaroos.

Guest access
Guests can enjoy our extensive grounds along the lakefront including the jetty.

You have free use of the BBQ and canoe.

Wifi is available so you can stream your favourites from your own Netflix and Spotify accounts.

Other things to note
In winter months you may enjoy sitting around the fire pit with (or without) a wine but lighting fires in summer is not permitted.

A Tesla Supercharger site is now available for EV drivers to use at Moonee Beach just 6minutes south of the Lily Pad. This site is open to non Tesla vehicles too.

The hosts live on the property (separate dwelling) with their cute old dog, Yogi.

We fell in love with this property the moment we both saw it.

Native birds and kangaroos are regular local visitors.

The cottage is situated on a beautifully landscaped 2.5 acres and it is approximately 5 - 10 minutes away from great beaches, shopping centres, and restaurants.

Our own home is also situated on the property – but it is separate from the cottage – so you can enjoy total privacy – or feel free to come and have a chat, if the mood takes you.

The space
The cottage is large and comprises three bedrooms, lounge and dining room etc, plus there is a BBQ area on the veranda.

The area is peaceful and relaxing, and there are some great places to go for a walk and enjoy the local scenery.

The kitchen is well equipped, for those wanting to use their cooking skills. Alternatively, if you just want to relax, there are some great restaurants etc nearby.

We have tried to keep an “Australiana” theme throughout, as we just love sharing our passion for the local Aussie landscape. Our overseas guests have told us how much they enjoy staying here and experiencing a culture different from their own.

We have tried to set up the cottage to be comfortable and make our guests feel relaxed and “at home”, which works well for both holiday-makers, or travellers who are here for work purposes.

We hope you fall in love with this place as much as we have – and we look forward to meeting you.

The property is not near public transport, so you will need your own vehicle to get around the local area.

There is ample parking inside the property next to the cottage.

Note: If you are a traveller here on business, there is also enough room to park your work vehicle/s.

Other things to note
There are great restaurants nearby and it is close to shopping centres.

The local beaches are beautiful and are well worth the visit.
