The room quickly cooled down even w the 85 humidity. Our balcony was shared but you hardly noticed your neighbors. They provide towels, have shampoo & body wash. It’s conveniently placed near pharmacy, clothes stores and coffee shops. The staff here are wonderful and helpful! The pool is small but def relaxing with the open roof. There’s no elevator, all stairs but that wasn’t an issue either. Breakfast was filling for us - eggs, toast and fruit! they also have a full bar and pizza, amazing pasta to order as well. Kid friendly as well. Just be mindful that you’re downtown - lots of noise, music, people and traffic. there’s a great nightlife here."

Also the prices are reasonable for an island hotel. This place does not see the hordes of daytrippers the hotels on the north shore get, so it’s rather peaceful. Although the place is generally clean, it nis not maintained properly. Some stuffs need some fixing. The room I stayed in for almost 10 days had suffered water leakage in the wall which resulted in traces on the wall which has not been redone or even painted. The mattress is definitely not comfortable & kitchen area where cooking is not possible still has the old cooking appliance, a very old blender nobody uses that could easily be replaced with a toaster. The fridge with a little tray for each room is a good thing so you can store your stuff. The main living area deserves at least a fan as the heat is just unbearable. As there is a TV (very good point) with Netflix & Youtube in each room, the one in this area stop other people from using this place when someone is watching tv. A glass door could also be useful for some AC as this is an open air area otherwise that prevents the use of air conditioning. One can feel that an effort is made to make this place a good one, but with (too) limited human presence. The potential is there but more time and consideration should be invested to make this place an excellent place to stay by adding, for instance laundry service. Breakfast included for a little extra would not be stupid & would add value to this place where the cleaning staff is AWSOME."

- "I love this place SO MUCH! It's such a hidden gem, the Uber driver actually had to ask a young boy where it was, even though we were about 50 feet from the property. (It shares space with a kitesurf shop. Just look for the gear hanging on the wall.) Heavenly private! I was skeptical that such an inexpensive room could actually have a view of the ocean, but they were telling the truth. Five minutes after checking in, I was swinging in my own hammock, hanging from the walls of the veranda outside my room. Walk out of your room and your toes will be in the sand within about 45 seconds. Again, heavenly. The room has everything you could ask for—including toiletries, a mini bar, a delicate little fan, mosquito netting, plush bedding, comfortable mattress—and even something you could probably do without in paradise: a flatscreen TV. Sounds divine, right? But I haven't even talked about the best part yet: the people. Gloria will take care of your every need. She brought me a delicious dinner (fresh fish), served a beautiful breakfast the next morning, took care of getting me a cab and paid him the fare. She was so patient re: my lack of Spanish—we used Google translate, on my phone—and helped me pay for everything with a credit card, since I was low on cash. And, if Gloria has already gone home for the night, Yolanda will take up the slack. Honestly, you couldn't ask for friendly, more helpful staff. I can't wait to go back. I'm already looking at my calendar..."
