- "My first hostal experience and not my last, after this reservation I booked again the very next day. Definitely would recommend, bed was comfy, water was hot enough, I like how it’s actividades to do. The food was aight, but you can cook your own meal in the comunal kitchen which was pretty wicked. Some mornings I would lounge around in the nets, with the sun beaming at me then go to the pool which was conveniently outside my room. The location really cannot be beat. Additionally, it has one of the best restaurants in town with a cool lounge area as well. We stayed in the private rooms La Guajira and Sierra Nevada. From the Sierra Nevada room, we were able to see the glaciers of the Sierra Nevada. It was an unforgettable experience! The rooms were very comfortable with pretty nice beds and reliable AC. The breakfast was also pretty decent. The only negative is not the hotel's fault; power outages. On every day of our visit the power would go out for multiple times a day; not for long but still annoying with wifi and AC going in and out. That's part of the deal with visiting this amazing place. Nearby restaurants and bars are among the best in town. The beach is one of the best in the world and only 5 minutes away. Be sure to check out where the river meets the ocean for an unrivaled experience. Oh, do the river tubing tour! "
