- "Great! Location, stuff, all was perfect" - "In the middle of the walled city! Loved everything about our room- the bunk beds were large and comfortable. The room quickly cooled down even w the 85 humidity. Our balcony was shared but you hardly noticed your neighbors. They provide towels, have shampoo & body wash. It’s conveniently placed near pharmacy, clothes stores and coffee shops. The staff here are wonderful and helpful! The pool is small but def relaxing with the open roof. There’s no elevator, all stairs but that wasn’t an issue either. Breakfast was filling for us - eggs, toast and fruit! they also have a full bar and pizza, amazing pasta to order as well. Kid friendly as well. Just be mindful that you’re downtown - lots of noise, music, people and traffic. there’s a great nightlife here."

The room itself had no hook or place to dry my towel since i was in a shared bathroom, i ender up hanging it over the 2 dresser doors. My room had a window.... that opened to the downstairs shared bathroom. Every application of cologne and use of the toilet were didn't go unnoticed. The rail for the shower door is too short so it always fell off the rails and had to be adjusted. Outside of that, it's a 10min walk to the exito, 15 minutes to the el poblado station, close enough to restaurants but far enough away from the noise. There are some perks, but the price didn't quite reflect some of the issues. I wouldn't stay there again."

- "My first hostal experience and not my last, after this reservation I booked again the very next day. Definitely would recommend, bed was comfy, water was hot enough, I like how it’s actividades to do. The food was aight, but you can cook your own meal in the comunal kitchen which was pretty wicked. Some mornings I would lounge around in the nets, with the sun beaming at me then go to the pool which was conveniently outside my room. I never did get a chance to go on the hammocks but that’s no biggie. "

- "Very clean. There’s people cleaning all the time. The kitchen is basic but has a toaster oven and a gas stovetop. I think you can drink the water from the tap I’ve been doing that. The private room was nice it has a big fan and a tv with cable channels mostly in spanish. The staff don’t speak much English but they are really friendly. The shower has great water pressure and not skimpy with the water. It’s a simple place but very safe and clean. It is located within steps of the magnificent Mirador of Salento with stunning views of the Cocora Valley. The town’s main street shops, offering unique arts & crafts, restaurants, and nightlife hot spots are just a couple of blocks away from the house.

The local artesanos use many different techniques with watercolor, acrylic and resin. There are also many examples of the local fashion tejidos, jewelry made from local gold and silversmiths, fine clothing, pirograbados, woodwork, beautiful crafts made of Guadua (a local tree from the bamboo family), incredible loom works, and quilts.
