- "It’s easy for tourists to walk at night around these areas by myself. The residents have to stop using kitchens and living room after 11pm, but we can go out. Kinda comfortable place." - "The room was really well maintained and pretty clean on the whole, unfortunately there was a smell of drains that came from our bathroom the whole time. The staff were great about trying to fix it but it didn’t really solve the issue. We also would have really liked some sort of locker or safe as we were in a private room and there wasn’t anywhere secure to store our valuables. On the whole the room was lovely and the facilities at the hostel are great as it has a pool and its own bar! If it weren’t for the drain smell I’d have given it 5 stars. I’d still recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the Lagoa da Conceição area "
