- "." - "Very nice 'hotel'. When we arrived at Abraao, we had to walk a fair bit to the hotel. From the pier it is about 10-15 min walking. At first we were worried about the location, but after I really liked it, is 1 min from the beach, it is in a very quiet but safe area. The hotel itself is very nice and very clean. The staff was very friendly, starting with '''Romina'', a very nice and friendly girl. The cleaning lady, was very good too, she kept our room in very good condition. The rooms are small as well as the bathroom, but they have everything you need. The room has a nice comfortable bed with clean sheets, a desk, a safe, a big smart TV, and of course WiFi. The bathroom is very well designed in my opinion, even though is very small. Every day we went out, on our way back we had a clean room and clean towels.(make sure you leave them on the floor if need changing). The breakfast was very good as well. For a small hotel, it was a well served breakfast and very tasty. I enjoyed my visit to CLH suites and would recommend to everyone, but remember, although is all walking distance on the island, the hotel is not around the corner of all the restaurants. But personally I prefer it."

- "Nice place, close to transport links, could do with modernisation and air conditioner in the rooms" - "Poor experience given the price paid which was $30 per night for a dormitory. The breakfast buffet is minimal and dissolved quickly by people who literally thrust it into their bags without any oversight, and from thereon it isn't replenished correctly for all the other guests.The guy responsible for making the breakfast was super rude too. The entire place isn't effectively cleaned either which is sadly the reason why I have to give 1 star. Even with the few negatives expressed, I was itching the first few days and on checkout I saw bed bugs on my linen. Honestly...the cleaning staff are well over 60 years of age, so anything that requires bending or stretching remains sodden in filth - notably the top rim of the shower. Further to the latter, though all the staff bar the breakfast guy were really friendly especially the manager, there were no towels available for new guests as they didn't have enough. Consequently they actually bought me a towel as a gift to keep which is exceptional hospitality, but still quite a mishap for everyone else. I was also offered cake and drinks adding to the already welcoming feel of the place, though further to that expressed already, the WiFi didn't really work on the top floor and functions poorly and sporadically throughout. I wish I could give a better review, but bed bugs is by default a 1 star review. Nonetheless, I give my sincerest regards to everyone at reception for the warm hospitality."

We wanted to leave our suitcases there after check-out, just for a few hours until our flight, but it was not granted by the manager with the reason that there's no space. After some discussion it was clear that the manager was just after the money and we couldn't leave our bags there unless we booked a whole new night, hence we had to store our luggage at a random hotel for a small fee. Rest of the staff was friendly. All in all I can say that I will not come back and there are better options in the same price category. "

- "EXCELLENT Hostel!! Our stay at injoy design was perfect in almost every regards. The location in Botafogo is very central, within a couple minutes of walking distance to the metro station, supermarkets and restaurants. The hotel is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, the street is gated and protected by 24/7 security personnel. Although Botafogo is considered a safe neighborhood, this should make you feel even safer, especially for Rio first-timers like myself this was an added bonus. This hostel has more of a hotel feeling to it, it has few rooms and the highly motivated staff at the 24/7 reception was always helpful and great with tips, ordering taxis, suggestions etc. They partner with a couple of providers of tours, we especially like the Vidigao Favela tour provided by a local tour guide. All in all the staff at Injoy was extremely warm and welcoming and the young people at the reception spoke English very well! Breakfast was very rich, tasty and fresh and there was coffee, tea and cake throughout the whole day for free. The rooms were very clean and bright and offered numerous TV channels. The WIFI worked even in the rooms and was very strong, however a glitch in the connection may happen but was fixed rather quickly. From the hostel you can reach the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema within a couple of metro stops, just as the center city. It is therefore perfectly located for visitors who want to enjoy rios beaches as well it's culture and nightlife."
