There is also a Lidl grocery store across the street. The breakfast was amazing, it competes with many hotel breakfasts I've had. The hostel has a nice lobby and lots of amenities (e.g. patio, roof terrace, computer, TV, vending machines, games room). The rooms were clean, with washbasins and tall lockers (you don't have to bring your own lock), but they may not fit a large suitcase. The showers and washrooms were fine, and everything was nice and clean. Just FYI you will need to buy an HI/DJH Hostels membership, but there are different options (1 night, 6 months, 1 year, Pay As You Go). My ONLY complaint was no WiFi in the rooms. I like to sit in bed and work and such, so this wasn't great, since sitting in the lobby to use the WiFi means a lot of background nice from the gamesroom. Also the internet didn't always stay connected that well. But overall the hostel was great, so that's not a big deal really. Thanks!"

- "The hostel location was really close to Buchenkamp U-Bahn station. ALDI supermarket was at the end of the road. The communication, via email and text messages, before arrival with the property manager was very good and the pre-arrival were instructions very clear (albeit some communication was in German). The facilities were very clean & modern and the twin rooms were spacious for two people. The hostel was very nicely decorated for Christmas. The local neighbourhood was quiet and so was the hostel. I had a very pleasant stay over the weekend."
