- "The building is beautifully decorated in a traditional style and is truly outstanding. However, what really sets this place apart is the wonderful landlady. She is extremely helpful, welcoming, warm, and always willing to provide all kinds of support and help. During our stay, she assisted us greatly with currency exchanges, ordering taxis, and even took care of our children's meals when we were too busy to do so ourselves. We had traveled to Havana for an urgent matter at the Canadian embassy, and staying at this safe, nice, and beautiful place with such kind people at the top made a difficult situation much easier. I cannot express enough gratitude to the kind landlady. I highly recommend this place to anyone ."

They charge you more for everything. The transportation is very bad, it is better to ask for a taxi (you can get it MUCH cheaper in the area where El Cristo is than with them). DO NOT exchange money with them, you are better off exchanging it on the street, as they are going to steal your money. The service is terrible, they treat you well only on the first day. The staff is HORRIBLE. If you want to enjoy Havana at night you won't be able to with them. They don't let you leave after 10 pm and they close the doors. The food is very bad, it is better to eat outside. If you want to enjoy your trip, don't stay here, I say this from experience. Son estafadores. Te cobran todo más caro. La transportación es muy mala, es mejor pedir un taxi (el área donde esta El Cristo lo puedes conseguir MUCHO más económico que con ellos). NO cambien dinero con ellos, sales mejor cambiandolo en la calle, ellos te van a robar el dinero.El servicio es pésimo, te tratan bien solo el primer día.Si quieres disfrutar de la Habana por la noche no podrás con ellos. No te dejan salir luego de las 10 pm y te cierran las puertas. La comida es muy mala, es mejor comer afuera. Si quieres disfrutad tu viaje, no te quedas aqui, lo digo por experiencia."

- "We stayed 7 Nights at Casa de David y Yula and we were very pleased by the privacy, cleanliness and comfort of the house. The rooms are beautiful and very well maintained. We loved that the rooms for the guests were not exactly together with the family but were built separately and this gives the guests more privacy. We also loved that we had a bartender/guest service person available for us 24/hrs. The coffee is amazing, you must have their cafe con leche. Everyone that serviced us was great but we would like to give a special shot out to Jorgito, he made us feel at home and he really makes the best mojitos and piña colada. He was always very eager to assist us. If we go back to Cuba, we will definitely consider staying here again."

- "An excellent option to stay in when in Havana. Everything is within walking distance and the hosts are wonderful people." - "Our hosts were extremely kind, always ready to help and advise. The rooms were pleasant, clean and comfortable. The shower and air-conditioning worked very well. We stayed for a week and it went very well. We slept very well in general. You can sometimes hear noise from the street, the TV, phone calls or the air conditioning, but it all stops at a reasonable hour. Havana is a lively place, and that's part of the atmosphere. But I think this place is very quiet compared to others. To get to Old Havana, it's a 15-minute walk or, for a few dollars, you can take the Bici. It's all part of the experience. So I thank our hosts for having us here. For me, Havana will always be marked by their smiles and kindness."

The owner has converted an apartment to a guest house. Has four rooms to let, lounge, dining and balcony with the view of the ocean. Very nice.
