On our return to Havana at the end of our trip, even though we weren't staying a night with them, they welcomed us like old friends for us too store our bags them for the day and even dip in the pool again to chill off before we took our flight home. - "The location is good, although its very noisy and busy when you get there at 1:30am in the morning on a Saturday evening. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean. After the first night I felt very safe with them. Its easy to change to local currency at the hostal. They can arrange transfers to the airport. There is no lift so if you don't like stairs then you should not stay there. If I ever go back to Cuba, then I'll stay there again (I was Ok with the stairs). The people of Cuba are very friendly. I can also recommend a walking tour of the old city."
