Actual showers, a few western toilets, a men's wing, a woman's wing, and a mixed dorm, no hangout space, but at least the bunks have really good curtains, and an electrical outlet and a light. Next-door at Shahana you're just in the dark if the room is in the dark, and you might be made to feel out-of-place."

- "This was our best experience in two weeks traveling. There is no proper A.C. so you might want to sleep outside like the family does. We played with the kids and cooked some bread over the fire. Dinner is the whole family sitting on rugs outside eating great farm food. We rode out to see antelope, flamingos, and a random monkey. Then we tried pottery the old fashioned way. We hiked to watch the sun set. This is a really nice family and a chance to see how people actually live, but if you like cushy hotels it may not be your thing. Great conversation with sons."

- "Incredibly helpful staff, especially Vicky who personally helped us get an Indian SIM card (trust me it's quite a hassle in India) and dropped us off at the airport. His tuk-tuk tour to the Wagah border is incredible, and honestly he was more entertaining than the ceremony itself. As long as you don't mind being a slightly squished on his ride depending on the group size, for 300 Rs. you really can't go wrong. He alone is the reason for a 5/5 rating. The private room was really good for the very affordable price, although without window. Fairly basic, but also clean and very comfortable. There's also a small communal area on the top floor, plus a kitchen space. The area surrounding the hostel is a slightly rundown, but it's a 5-10 minute walk to the Jallianwala Bagh park, the Golden Temple and all the markets and attractions around Heritage Street. Car traffic can be quite bad in Amritsar from early morning till late night, so being able to get on foot is very valuable."

HOUSE RULES

1. Check in at 12 noon and check out time is 11 am.
2. ID proofs of all guests are to be submitted during check in. Guests without a valid ID will not be permitted.
3. Please do not leave any valuables such as money, documents in the room. The management will not be responsible for any loss unless it is deposited at the front office.
4. Visitors are not allowed into the cabin area. Keeping in mind the safety of all our guests, visitors are not allowed to enter the rooms at any point.
5. Smoking inside the apartment is not allowed. Penal charges will be applicable if noticed.
6. Consumption or carrying any sort of drugs inside our premises is strictly prohibited. Legal complaint will be raised if noticed.
7. Room inventories such as pillows, blankets, towels, are intended for your use during your stay at the property only. Guests are requested not to take them out.
8. Help us save the environment. Please switch off all lights, fans, geysers and air conditions while leaving the apartment.
9. AC will be turned on between 8pm to 8 am only.
