- "My stay was a good one. The family is warm and welcoming yet professional. The house is quite large and my rear of the house room (#5) was spacious, secure and comfortable. I am sensitive to noise and always travel with earplugs; they came in handy as the room is right beside the kitchen. Not terribly noisy, but noticeable to me without earplugs. I would absolutely stay again and am curious to see what the house is like in the busy season with more than two guests. (There was only one guest other than me during my stay, so it was very quiet.) Location is great, walking distance to many great restaurants and markets. Fantastic bagel spot on corner of Franklin Ave and Lincoln Place and great Caribbean food even closer. Unable to speak on transportation since I drove. As always, on the street parking in NYC is not fun with alternate side and no parking lots or decks in the neighborhood, so be warned! All things considered, it was a great stay."

- "It's the best " - "Nice place " - "The location is very good and safe with 10 mins walk to subway station. No elevator! I had 2 suitcases and the friendly front desk young man offered to take them up stairs to the 3 rd floor! The room is not big but comfy with individual bath. I booked the private room. There are other shared rooms with shared bathrooms I guess. The hostels is very clean and the kitchen/ living room in the basement is very spacious with many sofa/ table and chairs to sit. Walking to restaurants. "

- "Very clean hotel. Comfy beds. Great decor. Need a bit more curtain to cover the expansive windows, but otherwise a wonderful spot." - "The bath towel was dusty and felt unhygienic. The blanket was also very thin and not warm enough." - "It’s like sharing a hotel room with 5 strangers. They have curtain on beds so there’s complete privacy. Initially I thought the bathroom is very clean because it’s a hotel room. But then the next morning I realized it’s like sharing a bathroom with 5 other people- can be quite some wait for your turn, especially if you wake up right before checking out.
