Owing to comprehensive renovation and extension work carried out in 2013/14, this youth hostel is a favourite with hikers, cyclists, horse riders, culture vultures, language students, families and school classes alike. The former orphanage boasts a beautiful garden where willows and chestnut trees reach towards the skies, a bright and airy dining room, modern, functional rooms and a barrier-free wooden pavilion.

The space
Unforgettable experiences are guaranteed thanks to the very well-maintained Roman amphitheatre, which is within easy walking distance, the ruins of the former Roman town, pleasure hikes through the vineyards, fun in the sun in one of the nearby stretches of water and, of course, the professionally run French courses.

The Bogentrakt Hostel is located in the converted former Prison Sennhof, in the middle of the old town of Chur.

The space
The former prison rooms have been converted into minimalist hostel rooms. In our quadruple room you stay in your capsule bed together with 3 other travelers in the room. Our beds are equipped with high-quality Swiss mattresses, have their own reading lamp & socket and can be separated with a curtain. The room includes a micro-bathroom with toilet and washbasin. Showers are available on floor.

Guest access
You will have access to the fully equipped guest kitchen, co-working space and common area equipped with TV, Arcade machines and library during your stay.

Our reception kiosk is also open for you every day. Here you will find the most important information and products about your stay. Coffee, souvenirs, local food and hygiene products.

The converted former prison Sennhof is home to not only you and our hostel, but also a restaurant, local small businesses, studios, apartments and a museum with Grison art. Here, the world meets Chur, and Chur meets the world. Each of our guests brings a little piece of freedom back to this revived part of the old town of Chur.

Other things to note
We do not serve food, and there is no shop in the village. Guests can use the lovely restaurant next door, or cook meals in our wonderful kitchen. There is a shop in the next village, Loco, 3km up the road.

The hostel has neighbors on all sides, and their tranquility must be respected, especially after 22h00. If you want to party, it's better to book something in Locarno.

Le Châble is the capital of the commune of Bagnes and is an essential tourist stopover. Centrally located, the village is linked to Verbier and Bruson by gondola lifts
, which depart directly from the Mont-Fort Swiss Lodge. It offers access to all activities in summer and winter.
Featuring sober style furniture, this room has 2 separate single beds and an en suite bathroom with a washbasin, shower and toilet.
In the case of a single booking, the room will not be shared with another guest.

Other things to note
Parking in the public parking lot is prohibited between midnight and 6 a.m. It is imperative that you leave your vehicle in the 'long term' parking lot, P4, MFSL declines all responsibility in case of a fine.

There is a breakfast buffet from 7.30 to 9.30 am in the dining room on the 1st floor (self service).

We thank you for respecting the other guests. We expect appropriate behavior in all communal areas and when returning to your rooms at night. Any abuse will be punished.

The books and games provided are for you and future guests entertainment. Please enjoy them at your leisure and return them to their due place after use.

A deposit of CHF 40 is charged for the access badge to the main entrance and to the ski locker. The deposit is returned at the end of your stay.
