We had a great time! I will prefix this by saying that if you want a tradition hotel, this might not be for you. Our room was small but comfortable, the bed reminded me more of a ryokan than a western hotel with a small sink and toilet. The shower stations and onsen are where you can bathe, shave and dry your hair. This is a communal onsen. I did wish the towels were newer but overall it didn’t really bother me. We really enjoyed the morning breakfast special, it was 880 yen and very filling. There are many areas of the spa-hotel to explore, like the massage chair room, hammock space and fire place. There is also a children’s play room. You need to remove your shoes when you enter and lock them in a locker, one day we kept our key and one day they asked to keep the key behind the desk. There is also free coffee and tea. We would definitely stay here again and would like to spend more time at the hotel next time. We really were only there to sleep and eat breakfast but did explore it in the mornings because we were often up very early. Recommend for people who enjoy a funky and cool atmosphere!"
