It was very charming with beautiful pieces of antique furniture dotted around but don't expect mod-cons and - as hinted earlier - some updating of facilities at this price point wouldn't go amiss. But all in all we had a very pleasant stay topped off by breakfast served in a lovely airy dining area overlooking pretty gardens."
