- "Fine accomodations - great view, attentive hosts, fine property close to town. " - "Hosts Josephine and Barry are wonderful! The room (sea view) was immaculate! Great location, walking distance to the town centre. " - "Where to start? Simply the best B&B we have ever stayed at. Josephine and Barry are amazing hosts. Greeted like old friends and offered a drink while we chatted in the lovely communal lounge with them. It's about a 25 minute walk into the lovely town of Bantry along safe pavements all the way there and back. The room was amazing. Comfortable bed and a big bathroom with a tub as well as rain shower separate. On the morning I had the "mini" Irish breakfast which was huge! Can't imagine the full one! We continued our conversation from the evening before and bought one of Josephine's amazing pebble art pictures before we headed away, forever ruining any future B&B stays. Thank you for an amazing stay. Book this place with confidence "

- "We stayed here just for one night. The service was amazing and the food was phenomenal. The hotel is older but clean. The beds were a bit too stiff for our liking but everything else really surpassed that. We loved this stay. " - "Gorgeous view from pillow, pub downstairs, off-street parking, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful host, central to sites " - "I really enjoyed my stay. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Only catch: there was no hot water the last evening of my stay. It was the bank holiday weekend in August and the person capable of handling the situation was not available. Not so good."

- "Westerly House is a unique property and it carries a price to go with that. However for most people, including us, this provides you with a once in a life experience, the memories of which will remain with you for a very long time. My extended family, including grand and great grand children, had the most amazing time in this natural wonderland of a home in Ballylickey West Cork. Eating, drinking, swimming, kayaking, hot tubbing, with enough space to allow everyone peace and privacy when required, this was a holiday heaven, best summed up by one of my great grand children, who blurted out - this is the 2nd best holiday I ever had -. When I asked Jamie what was the first, he replied - Disneyland Paris -. There was one major disappointment. One day after we left, a pod of whales appeared in Ballylickey Bay and put on a breaching display. How beautiful it would have been to sit with a glass of wine on the jetty at the end of the garden in Westerly House and watch the whales having their fun!!!"
