Since checkout was at 10:30 and I had a train to catch at 3:00 PM, I asked if I could stay until 2:00 PM and leave my bags, and use the common areas or leave them to go to the beach. They told me a firm no, and that I had to leave the hotel completely by 10:30 AM. That seemed a bit inflexible. And at 9:50 AM, they came knocking on my door to see if I could leave. It seems they were in a hurry to occupy it."

- "One night’s stay at Fattoria for me, my husband and our 17 year old. The hotel is geared up for a family who love their activities - a full timetable of events, football, tennis, a mini farm and 3 pools. The main pool area was lovely, with a well-stocked pool bar. One thing worth noting, as is sometime the Italian way, this hotel has swimming caps as compulsory. My 17 yr old was not impressed. I think this should be made clear on the website as he did not go in the pool as a result!! (I bought a cap for 4 euros and had a great swim!). We ate in the pizzeria on site (about 15 mins walk - it’s a large site!) We ate outside and could see the outdoor grill/chef busy at work. Good value and great service. Hotel bar had a good atmosphere so we had a drink before bed. Breakfast was served buffet-style in a large room. All very nice. Bedroom was abit dated but OK, we all slept well. Lots of parking spaces. We visited Castiglione della Pescaia but it was very busy and hot. Looked lovely but we didn’t stay long. All in all, lots on offer if you want it. Good hotel in a great spot. Rather than just start closing up a staff member was kind enough to ask us if we needed more time. Consequently, the breakfast was presented well and was very well rounded with a great assortment of hot and cold options. They have large elevators, underground parking, and many other amenities that a modern hotel should have. Finally, I noticed that a number of the teams that often place in the middle/lower tier teams of the Italy professional league have chosen/choose to stay in this hotel, so I’m certain it’s been vetted extensively. - "We were driving around Toscana and needed a break from the hectic towns. This Hotel was Perfect for us. We visited during May so not many people in the Hotel. Still we could hear the neighboring sounds. Clean Hotel. Soaceous room. The bed matress was a bit hard for us. Barhroom was clean and with a shower with nice water pressure and hot water. There was a free parking lot right in front of the Hotel. Breakfast was included. Good enough for us. Would have liked tastier juices. Location was nice by the beach. For a longer stay it would have worked also. We just needed one night with good night sleep. We ate in the nearby restaurant although Hotel had one also. I would stay here again. "
