There is a spa on site which look fantastic. We used the small gym there. The staff are very friendly. The quality of the accommodation and food was very high and stood out for Sri Lanka. We had spent a few nights in Weligama bay before here and the peace and tranquility of Haritha villas was perfect after the busy more colourful time in Weligama. We went whale watching on our final morning and even though it is supposedly not the season for it we saw 6-7 whales which was great. Would recommend using the private boat the hotel organises rather than the bigger busier boats. Overall it is a wonderful resort worth every penny. "

- "The staff are fantastic. " - "It's an old hotel. 50 yrs. So it's tired and needs a refurbish. Rooms are OK, but bathroom leaks water from the shower leaving puddles of water in the bathroom. Could smell urine in room 205 when using the shower so probably linked to the drainage system. Pool needs redone as several broken tiles and there were 3 people I saw who cut themselves including a member of staff and my daughter. Restaurant and bar is very good, great choice and food options are lovely. Staff are excellent and very friendly. Opposite a supermarket which is handy. So overall a really nice hotel, pretty basic but has great potential with a bit of investment. "

- "We absolutely loved our stay at this rare to find classic old style Sri Lankan home away from home place. Stunningly beautiful part of the beach and access to being right on the beach, beautiful calm, peaceful atmosphere and gorgeous building with good natural earthy quality wooden floor and furnishings, with much soul and character and charm! Staff are kind, generous, , and service is petainal human with a loving smile as I find in almost all parts of Sri Lanka. There are now many ‘fancy’ but soul less, impersonal,transactional, consumerist hotels made and run by money hungry giants - whilst it looks great on outside staying at soul less hotels truly does not make things memorable unlike this beautiful hotel. The restaurant is open for limited time frames but room service is available throughout the day. Loved the view from our room, to get the sea view you have to book premium sea view. Comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was courteous and helpful. The Wi-Fi was spotty especially during peak usage but the view, the sea, sun and sand make up for it. Food service maybe slow at peak times but you need to understand that food is made to order and NOT premade. Great spot for a walk along the beach. We went in the peak tourist season & found this good value for money for our family would happily stay again. Staff attentive even playing cricket with our son. Cons No kettle in the room for making tea only a coffee machine so you need to wait for the kitchen to open at 8am before you can get a pot of tea- would be nice to have one in the room If you’re in room 1 it is closest to the road and you might need some ear plugs or white noise. - "We wanted a relaxing and peaceful holiday with a pool and view and good service. This hotel didn’t disappoint us. There are only six rooms so the service was personal and exceptional. The hotel is located at the quieter end of the Hikkadawa stretch of beach which suited us. The livelier bars and hotels were only a short walk away too. There are buses every five minutes just outside that took us to the Tsunami museum one day and Galle Fort another for about 50p each, each way. Great fun and very easy to do. The hotel chef was eager to please and show off his skills and we loved the food there. Some meals had to be ordered in advance and some took a while to come as they are all freshly cooked to order. No mass menu from freezer to microwave here! We can highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants an authentic Sri Lankan service and not a big 5* chain that could be anywhere in the world. "
