- "Property in need of renovation, the furniture and bathroom very much worn but still usable and served our purpose. Our bedding had small stains reliably after every change although I am sure they were clean. Location is beautifully serene but extremely isolated, so not even a shop to purchase amenities or snacks. Very safe area." - "Visited Koh Kut several times stayed at different hotels all good standards, Dusita had the advantage of a beautiful peaceful private setting and beach, the beauty of Dusita is the abundance of grounds and beach to number of guests giving a good amount of privacy. The food is of a good standard serving a very nice selection for breakfast, food served through out the day and drinks they have very good lady chefs. The evening menu is very good based on the meals myself and my wife had there. We had a younger German family with two very young children 6months and 2 the grounds were perfect and they had plenty of room and safe. Dusita is very well located and caters for all your requirements motorbike hire, kayak hire etc and there are a few really good restaurants situated within 5-10 minutes outside the ground recommend the corner drink and food. Staff excellent!"

For instance, there is a charge for ice and food to take away. If you break a glass 200 thb. Also the kayaks were at a cost ok no problem (even though I read they were free) but the paddleboards were expensive and they were in a pretty bad state…actually good for the bin as they were missing chunks and really not safe for use. Summing up I would still say this was a very good hotel to stay on the island. It was a perfect place in a bay to swim,snorkel,and relax"
