- "I had a delightful stay here at this cute small new hotel. Paris-sized (small!) room with modern and artful finishings/ amenities and style. Closest thing I’ve had to a functional American-style bathroom/shower in France in any hotel under €300 which was a breath of fresh air. Love the artwork on the walls, nice location in the old city 5 min walk from train and close to lake. Check in was fast and easy and in English if you want. The hotel restaurant where they do breakfast seems a bit stuffy / expensive/ formal for picking up a pastry and orange juice but what can you do (and there are a gazillion other options nearby). I had dinner at the hotel restaurant my first nite and it’s pretty good, maybe a bit overpriced (you would get significantly better at this price point in Paris) but still very nice, English menus available which is nice. I note that there is no hotel lobby if you care about that kind of thing. But there is an elevator and also a separate entrance for the stairwell if you hate elevators (I hate elevators). "

The shower door would not close and water kept leaking on to the fitted carpet. The room was very stuffy and we both had headaches after sleeping there for one night. The walls are thin and you could hear the shared toilet being used through the adjoining wall. When checking in, we were confused as the room did not have its own bathroom and used a shared toilet. The staff kept trying to push a more expensive room on us even though we asked for a moment for ourselves. They then said that it was already paid for, which led to some confusion while checking out. As we understood that the room had already been billed from my credit card, we left the key at the reception and walked towards the door. She started yelling at us in French that we were leaving without paying. This was not our intention and we stopped immediately. After some confusion I paid with my credit card (the "paid for" from the day before was only the cover charge). The lady kept insinuating that we had tried to leave without paying even though it was an honest mistake. The staff we met were generally very pushy and rude. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had."

- "Newly remodeled while keeping the original architectural interest intact, this apartment is a few blocks from the train station. It's a short walk to the lake and Old Town, with restaurants and grocery nearby. There's lots of light through big windows in the kitchen and bedroom/sitting room. We found plenty of space to relax, rest, read and recharge before heading out for a day in Annecy. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay and the dining room was perfect. The bed was very comfortable with space to walk on both sides of the bed. The street below quiets down at night for a restful nights sleep. The apartment is on the first floor and is a walk up. We were given a set of keys. One key unlocks the entrance to the building and another unlocks the very secure locks to the apartment. We always felt safe. The host was responsive and concerned with our comfort in their lovely apartment."

Close to Lake Annecy and upstairs from our residence, you can find yourself in this Junior Balcony Suite in Duplex.

On the ground floor you will find a beautiful living room with a 2-person sofa bed, a 50-inch 4K QLED TV with “Canal + Ultimate” access, air conditioning, dining area, equipped kitchenette: induction hobs, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker (ground coffee provided), kettle, toaster, juicer, blender, deep fryer, fondue machine, raclette-grill-crypier machine, etc.

Also, you will access a private bathroom with shower or bathtub, toilet and hairdryer.

Upstairs you will spend pleasant nights in a double bed in 180x200 and you will have a 43 inch 4K QLED TV with “Canal + Ultimate” access.

You will enjoy the balcony offering table, chairs and views of Lake Annecy and these Mountains!

We do not offer breakfast but we have a food store (Lidl) across the street and a bakery 5 minutes walk away.
