The next evening when I retuned from business meetings the Ramada sales manager was extremely apologetic and deducted RMB200 from the room rate and offered an upgrade to a top suite for my second night, which was very good particularly as I was unaware that I hadn't been put in the room I had booked. The hotel was very quiet but there was a pre-launch of a buffet in anticipation of a busier period, which looked to be of a very high standard. Standard of English among the reception staff was good.
