Water pressure good too - esp considering 2nd floor unit. Looks as tho they might be expanding or moving....? There are FIVE fun swimming pools! The largest one in the middle is the family pool - everyone is invited. This tends to be the warmest pool, also. Next to this pool is the pool bar and grill, with a full menu of drinks and pool-side meals and snacks. Wait staff hustle all afternoon to meet your every desire for food and beverage. There is also the adult pool, the elite pool, the volleyball pool, and the kids pool. BUT, the one I like best is the HOT TUB! It's huge and warm and bubbly and a fun place to meet your fellow guests. There are lounges all around the pool area, and almost always there are several available.

What about the BEACH? It is just down a stairway and across a few yards of sand to the beautifully clean and well maintained sandy beach, where kids are digging in the sand, others are taking out kayaks or stand up paddle boards, and others are wading or swimming. This is a no-surf beach, wonderful for wading and families. There is also a beach bar and grill that works just like the one at the pool area. Did I mention the hiking trails? There are over 6 miles of hiking trails through the hills around the resort. You can do a short loop of under a mile, or take on the whole trail system for a 3 or 4 hour special treat. The trails are well maintained and there are some spectacular views overlooking the resort on one side, and the Sea of Cortez on another side.

If you like golf, you will love the Danzante Bay Golf Course. It is a TPC course (the only one in Mexico) and considered the best golf course in all of Latin America. The bright green, carefully manicured fairways stand in stark contrast to the cactus and rocks of the surrounding hills.

A couple of more items: There is a small market at the resort, with a limited selection of fresh fruits and veggies, as well as basic staples. Here's a tip: anything imported from the US is 3 or 4 times the US price. Best to pick out Mexican products! There is also STARBUCKS available, in 2 places. One is next to the market and one is in the center of the resort. An outstanding spa is another amenity, and an exercise room is in the same building. On the roof are a couple of pickle ball courts!
