- "Our first impression, when we walked through the door never changed throughout our stay. The hotel reception area is bright, clean and has lovely decor, lots of seating areas, to relax and enjoy a drink, and friendly staff who welcomed us on arrival.We were booked in for 2 nights over the May bank holiday weekend and had booked a show at the Lowther Pavilion for one of the nights. The other evening we stayed in the hotel for dinner, which was excellent. There was a very well stocked bar and entertainment which we really enjoyed.
