The Coach House is both tastefully designed, very dog friendly and well positioned for access to the centre of both St Anne's and Lytham. Overall we had an enjoyable time." - "This is a very cosy place to stay. Everything I needed was supplied and a nice surprise was the lovely little welcome pack - not expected but most welcome. I had a little problem with a leaky sink but the owners had a workaround for this. It literally was just a few minutes from the beach and I drove to Lytham and the centre of St Anne’s very quickly. My little dog is quite timid but this was secluded enough for him to settle in immediately! I would definitely recommend this to anyone thinking of a little stay away in in this locality."

The Beach House is a wonderful semi-detached period property which can be found on the picturesque Fylde Coast, in the family friendly resort of St Annes-on-the-Sea. A mere half mile from the sandy seafront and promenade are ample amenities, with the continental and spacious St Annes Square just around the corner. On the way to St Annes Square you will pass Ashton Gardens which is home to play areas and bowling greens, along with the Pavilion Tea Room and Restaurant.

Just south of the bright lights and razzmatazz of Blackpool, St Annes is brimming with tradition, with bandstands, paddling pools, cafés, tea rooms and golf courses, including the illustrious Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club. - "Very comfortable, well equipped house in a great location. Very near park, shops, beach, bars and restaurants." - "We had a lovely stay at the beach house and will hopefully be returning again next year. The house itself is a two bed terraced with on street parking, which we were able to do with no problems on any of our 7 nights, parking right outside each time we returned to the house. The house has been recently refurbished throughout and was clean and bright. It was an ideal location to base ourselves and then go out on day trips around and about in Lancashire. It was also a great place to take our dog, the owners even purchased a piece of Astroturf for the slabbed back yard as he's a little fussy where he goes, if you know what I mean? There is a beautiful park only 200 metres away from the house and the beach is only a 3 or 4 minute walk so, we made use of these every day to walk the dog and let him run on the beach. There is also a very convenient Sainsbury's supermarket within 300 metres and the town of Lytham St Annes itself is only a 5 minute walk, the house is also within a 5-10 minute drive of Lytham and Blackpool. The Beach house looks to be a relatively new venture for the owners and there were a few very small improvements that could be made (bedside table/extra cups/plates/lid on the outside bin etc), though, nothing that impacted our stay at all. All in all, a small, neat and tidy house that was perfect for us. Thank you Sam for a great holiday, good communications and possibly, the comfiest bed I have ever slept in!"

- "Situated between the shops, cafe's and bars on Clifton Street and the Windmill on the green , this really is the perfect location to stay when visiting Leafy Lytham. The house itself is superbly furnished, spotlessly clean, and feels much larger inside than the front facade suggests. On first entering the house it was a lovely surprise to find a little care package had been provided for us in the kitchen. There is a small private garden at the back of the house, which was lovely to be able to sit outside in, and enjoy the sunshine. Parking a car in Lytham can be a little tricky on busy weekends, but as there is a large garage at the rear of the property, this was never a problem. The beds in the bedrooms are very comfortable, and along with it being in a very quiet area, ensured we all had a good nights sleep. Our host Holly kept in good contact with us from the start of our holiday ensuring we had a stress free break, and knowing we could reach her at anytime should we need anything. We couldn't fault anything at all, our only thought was to suggest maybe the inclusion of a small bin in the bathroom and a downstairs mirror perhaps, but this is purely a suggestion. Would we stay here again? absolutely, it is a little gem of a place, and a credit to Holly."

It is fully renovated with two double bedrooms and luxury walk in shower room to the first floor. Downstairs there is an open plan kitchen, seating and dining area with flat screen television, wc and patio garden. The property has parking space for one vehicle and is in the centre of Lytham within two minutes walking distance of the high street, Lytham Green and nearest public house (The Queens).

- "We recently stayed in this lovely home for five nights at the end of a two week UK holiday visiting friends in Scotland. After spending time on the road in different hotels each night we were so happy to be able to use Orchard Lodge as our base. With three grown up children it is hard to find suitable accommodation that provides enough space for everyone. Thankfully with the five bedrooms and 3 and a half bathrooms there was space were perfect for all of us. We were even able to accomodate close family from Europe. It was the perfect space for us to be able to share time together. As we live in Australia we don't see our family from Europe and UK very often so it was so special to be able to spend five days together. The location was perfect as it was only a few hundred metres from pubs, cafes, the high street, Sainsburys, Aldi and my favourite the M & S food hall! Everything was within walking distance, including the beach front and one of the best fish and chip shops! We decided to cook a couple of meals and the kitchen provided everything we needed to enjoy home cooking. Even though we are from Australia (& have the best beaches!) we loved that we could walk to the beach and the piers. Whilst our kids are young adults they still loved the novelty of the English pier arcades. The house was very clean, tidy and super comfortable. We had a very minor issue at the start and Helen was super helpful and very responsive, so it was resolved quickly. Highly recommended."

It’s famed for its iconic ‘Windmill on the Green’, as well as the annual Lytham Festival and Lytham Proms. A direct train service will also take you to neighbouring St Annes in 10 minutes where you’ll find a huge beautiful sandy beach, and then in 20 minutes you’ll reach Blackpool. Blackpool is home to a massive amount of tourist attractions including Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Blackpool Tower, the Sandcastle Water Park, SEA LIFE Blackpool and of course the annual illuminations light show.

Although tucked away within the grounds of the owner's home in a quiet part of town, this property is only within a mile of a whole host of amenities. The seaside town of St Annes-on-Sea nestles along a picturesque stretch of coastline with award-winning sandy beaches. In under a mile you can stroll into the centre of town and enjoy a wealth of shops, bars and restaurants, and a pretty pier with amusements.

The space
The area is internationally renowned for golf with the famous Royal Lytham and St Annes Golf Club on the doorstep, along with many other courses in the area. For anyone wanting to venture out for the day, the beautiful Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Yorkshire Dales National Park and Lake District National Park can all be reached within 50 miles.

Feel instantly at home in this wonderful property as you step inside a small entrance hall and kick off your sandy shoes, before moving into the lounge/diner. Adorned with large windows and patio doors that flood the room with light, the lounge area has been beautifully finished with comfortable sofas and a Smart TV. For dining, a large table with plenty of seating sits at the back of the room, where you can enjoy a simple supper or morning coffee with the papers. The kitchen is set off the lounge area, a well-equipped space with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. When the day is done you will find a sumptuous super-king-size bed which is a zip-and-link (can be made up as twin beds on request), where you can enjoy a peaceful night’s rest amongst the soft linen. Completing the interior is a Jack and Jill shower room with a shower, bidet and WC that can be accessed from either the bedroom or the entrance hall.

Doors from the lounge open out to a private patio area outside, with furniture for dining alfresco. Guests also have shared use of the owner’s lawned garden and there is ample parking just outside the property.
