- "This accommodation surpassed our hopes. I was with my elderly parents and wanted a property on one level. The fixtures and fittings were of an excellent standard, good quality bedding and towels. Fantastic walk in shower which was safe for my parents and very spacious. All the rooms were spacious and everything we could want was provided. We were lucky enough to have some lovely weather in April and could enjoy the garden which is so nice. The pub that is about 1 min walk was an extra benefit if you want to eat out and not drive, the food and welcome was very good. Only a 20 min drive to Windermere lake and easy access to Ambleside and Keswick. You are also able to walk the Old man of conniption from this location, no need to drive. Easy instructions on how to find the property and how to get in. I would recommend this highly. The drive way is quite narrow, we have quite a large car but I feel if you had a van then you would struggle to get in. I would look forward to returning here in the future."

- "Good location for local amenities and many excellent walking opportunities around the local area. We had a great time in a well set up house." - "Beautiful views from the back of the house over fields! House looks a lot different from the front- looks like a run down farm! But once you get inside it’s is gorgeous! Parking ok but only big enough for 3cars. Very steep drive down to property! Just a few niggles that could be improved - bin with a lid in kitchen, fridge/freezer in kitchen not in utility room, more seating in lounge. Also pub where the keys are collected from does food but had a terrible lasagne there, the other pub across the round is much better and cost the same but was perfect!"

- "This end-terrace cottage is simple but comfortable. The location is ideal, in a quiet cul-de-sac, but right in Coniston village, walks from the door, all amenites in throwing distance! Fine for four adults and two teenagers to sleep, but only seating for four in the kitchen. However the kitchen is large (and fully tiled) so ideal for our dog to stay in overnight, and a yard at the back which she could play in. I thought this was a great little house for a weekend, and would definitely come again."
