The Modern & Recycled guest house (MoRe) and was built from scratch and combines recycled (made by us) materials with modern pieces. Located right in the heart of the quiet and beautiful town of Machico, its about 50 meters from the beach (rocky and sandy) door to door with great restaurants.The Airport 5 minutes away. The Buddha Room is a very big space with private bathroom, couch and cable tv. You have a kitchen (with everthing you need) and a balcony that you can share with other guests.

The space
This is a unique guest house, its a family project (a dream) that was possible with hard work and dedication. We are a family that like to meet people from all over the world, you will be very welcome here. The location is perfect door to door with the best restaurants in Machico and Madeira. One minute walk and you are in the beach (sandy and Rocky), the airport is 5 minutes drive, the bus station is 5 minutes walk. if you like levadas/hiking you are in the right place (what more could you want?). All the rooms in this guest house haved story linked to us :) The buddha room is all about my mother and her spiritual journey, she has a reiki course that she applies to people (mostly friends).

Note: we acept 3 persons in this room (if the 3rd person is a child).

The main house dates from 1920 and is classified as part of the regional heritage. In the neighbourhood, you can enjoy walks, golf, horseback riding, bicycle riding. 15 minutes from the airport and
30 minutes from Funchal.
