We stayed in May and there was a heavy storm the first night - there was nowhere better to be than by the fire in a heavy-set stone-built cottage by a lighthouse. Stepping out onto the protected veranda to see the lighthouse's beams circling through the driving rain in an image neither of us will forget. The place is built for just this type of weather and nothing on the cottage rattled or shook, despite the crazy storm winds. We would return here in a heartbeat and most certainly recommend to anyone looking for a more unique, but at the same time very luxurious, place to stay. "
